    awesome im new here 2. have not made my first jump yet but im real close & anxious. i just read the same article VC never thought id find any1 that well known on my 1st day here. there is still so much 2 learn & so many new people 2 meet. feels like a little kid in a candy store.     when do they stop calling us newbies. is this like a frat. - soro. thing like we're every1s bitch/gopher for the 1st say 20 + jumps? if so i pray my soon 2b new found friends like cheap beer & wine. this could get rather expensive. when & after how many jumps do i get to have a bitch/gopher. does the torch change hands as soon as newer blood arrives? cuz i can bring friends 4 the second jump if thats the case. lol It's pretty pathetic when you have to TELL people you're fucking cool Skymama «narrative»This thread will lock in 3..2..     hello everyone I am tracy & new to the sport. so new I have not yet made my 1st jump. but I am so ready to do so. at least mentally not sure I want to do a tandem ( sp ? ) I'm trying to choose btween static line & aff. any recommendations? also I kno I should use rental gear for the time being. except for personal items like a suit & goggles etc. how do I kno for sure when I'm ready for my own gear and what gear to buy 1st.
