Whether you are holding out until some huge truth emerges, or until you get your hands on the fingerprints/dna, or until you write the book, or to keep the men in black away, or so you can be the one to find the holy grail - it is futile to think that you will really "solve" the case with circumstantial information. Why would the FBI, at this late date, (barring any new evidence) consider any candidate as the one and close the case based on anything other than what they have used to exclude all of the other contenders? "Okay, on second thought, we don't really need to match up on any of the real evidence anymore - we just think you're cute. lol...oh wait....this sounds awfully familiar.

Sorry...you are getting into research being collected for Cooperland. I said a couple of months ago that I will no longer be releasing any new information on Kenny Christiansen at Dropzone, other than the KC report available at the AB website. If I had any public trust with this thread remaining, it disappeared when some current users here were traced to filthy-ass comments about both me and Gayla (who cares zip about Cooper) on outside articles. Trust is GONE, and whether you like it or not, that's the way it is. You'll just have to wait like everyone else. Then...you can jump all over the book if you wish. In the meantime, I have no problem with your belief he wasn't Cooper. You are entitled to that, and since at present I can't prove absolutely that he was, I have no further comment on it. "I will no longer be releasing any new information on Kenny Christiansen at Dropzone, other than the KC report available at the AB website." Reality Hotel check in.....those questions are from your PDF. I guess I'll have to look into it myself and post the findings. played a lot of dodge ball when you were younger I gather (*laughs*) shouldn't take me to long to get the info. might even make a website.... On the stamps and coins....even if KC did have one - many, if not most, regular ol joe collectors rarely buy a "collection". They purchase or find individual items over a long period of time and the individual items then form a collection that, if they are lucky, matures in value over time. Those that seriously try to eliminate their candidates, rather than force random findings to fit a pre-selected conclusion have a better chance at arriving at the truth. .....(Of course, whether they ultimately like or accept that truth is a whole other issue)

Seriously Robert - whether you trust anyone or not is immaterial. It takes more than one person to make a circle. For anyone interested, if you want the real estate records that aren't online you just have to request them manually (phone or letter) and pay a fee to have them copied and mailed. Robert, the only one bringing up filthy-ass comments from day 1 is you. And you keep bringing it up....I just have to wonder why... Really, if you didn't keep bringing it up, it would be ignored and lost in the dung-heap of stupid, asinine internet trash forever...where it belongs. If you don't trust posters on here, just don't interact with them. AND BE DONE WITH IT. Since there is no other valid reason to keep bringing it up, I have to wonder....is it like some iterative marketing strategy, or maybe some strange form of Munchausen syndrome ala Tawana Brawley? .... lol.... I will believe the no-comment about KC when I see it. I think it is a Jo tease.

Why would this be an indicator that the flight path is valid? The pressure bump is only an indicator of the time he jumped, its indication of the location of the bump is only valid if the flight path is valid - it doesn't of itself make the flight path valid. Actually, "a while" is probably semantics. I believe it was in Himmelsbach book that they (FBI) thought Cooper's plan was to jump sooner rather than later. but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

A couple of other interesting items from the document you posted: In the interoffice memo by George Harrison on Nov 26, he calls the hijacker D. B. Cooper. "Attached is a copy of the passenger list which was taken in the lounge. The name used by the hijacker was D.B. Cooper, who boarded in PDX." It looks as if the fuel truck problems were not a stalling mechanism by the FBI. If I read right, the FBI's money list was short by two bills? but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

I thought the Norm Harris document was pretty interesting: Shades of bermuda triangle and twilight zone.

Because of the constant bickering and other BS in this thread, I admit to not following as closely as I have in the past and maybe I missed the speculations regarding the "why" of the redactions. 377...what do you think is the reason? Anyone else? I find this "redaction issue" one of the more fascinating parts of the DB puzzle. I have wondered about this and I found this: http://simplyforgotus.blogspot.com/2013/07/redact-without-purpose.html Doesn't really answer the question but interesting read. So our questions to ponder: Is the redaction directly related to the flight path info (as in purposefully excluded to keep public from discerning flight path? In which case you have to say...to what purpose? Or...did those entries contain names? EDITED TO ADD: But names are included in the other documents. Or..did those entries contain some type of information that auto triggered a redaction? The people that do the redactions, in many cases, have no special knowledge of the document. They are simply people who are following a generic procedure and are taught to redact if it looks like this or like that. but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

When people give witness testimony, and you provide the means to VERIFY that testimony, then the answer to your problem is obvious. Interview the witnesses on your own. Providing the full report at the website certainly proves I have nothing to hide. Trust me on something. Sooner or later, someone is going to check it for accuracy. I have nothing to hide, and I am not afraid of the results. Robert, Robert, Robert. Why would I want to interview these witnesses when what I am trying to impart to you is that these witness statements are 1. probably not accurate due to the length of time for memory retrieval. 2. Self-serving 3. Full of ego-centric memory bias. Have I ever said that you lied in regards to the "witness statements"? NO. But, come on man --- What is there to verify? Susie said this and Sally agrees??? Jeez -- let's send a man to prison based on that. What you are not understanding, obviously, is that your witness statements are to be taken with basically a grain of salt, since there is no corroborating evidence to sustain. Let's put it another way. Since you obviously want to be Kenny's prosecuting attorney..... Okay .... well I think Kenny was a pretty decent guy and no way would he perpetuate as heinous a crime as to blow up a plane full of people for money. So I'm gonna be the lawyer for the defendant, Mr. Kenneth Christiansen. So you make your case. I guarantee that I can refute every fallacy that you make about my client. BRING IT ON. Reposting this for Mr. Blevins. Go back to bed, Paul. The grownups are talking now. If you want to make sense, then write a post that makes sense. Otherwise, you are going to be ignored by me. but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

Yeah. At first we thought Kenny hiked out to Paradise Point State Park, too. But then we found out that Bernie Geestman owned property with a shop building down in Oakville, WA and that's where he parked his infamous Airstream trailer he bought at a bank repo sale six weeks before the hijacking. Instead of bringing it home to Bonney Lake. When he and Kenny vanished the week of the crime, Geestman gave his wife the excuse he was going camping rather than attending Thanksgiving dinner at the Jones' place. I don't think he used a tent, which means he and Kenny ended up in Oakville at the trailer and shop. What they did after that is anybody's guess. You could say they were robbing banks, or having sex, or whatever. But to assume that...when Kenny was unhappy with the airline he worked for...knew how to use a parachute...and was able a few months later to hand out thousands of dollars to both Geestman's sister and for a house...well, it's hard to ignore. Face it. You read Blast. You saw Geoff Gray's article and both books. You checked out the letters mailed after the hijacking. Since then, you've tried to build a case around that. But even I'm not stupid enough to say that Kenny was certainly Cooper based on the available evidence. It just isn't enough. If you are going to ride on coattails, you should first make sure your shoes are clean.

Actually, Kenny does NOT have an alibi, according to witnesses. For example, Helen Jones, Margie Geestman, and Jones' daughter all said that Kenny and Bernie Geestman went missing the entire week the hijacking occurred, and failed to show for Thanksgiving dinner at the Jones' house. They provided good details. Jones also testified that she saw Kenny at the Sumner Laundromat about six weeks later, and that he admitted to her he was with Geestman over Thanksgiving. I will admit that sometimes the conversation around here gets ridiculous, as you say. Jeez Blevins....I cannot believe that you took that post seriously. It was a joke, a play on words. Laugh a little. Lowers the B/P, oxygenates the tissues, and makes the endorphins spin for a second or two.
-
This conversation has gotten otterly ridiculous. Kenny probably had a rock solid alibi and the two of you are just clamoring for attention.

Right, and I never got that free copy you were going to send me either. Must be lost in the ether-zone or in DB Cooper's handbag. Other than that, I am getting nothing out of your nonsensical posts so I think I am done with you. But I will offer, again, some advice. There are free programs out there that check your spelling and punctuation. You can google and download them for free. You might want to try it sometimes. The downside is it won't help people understand the flights of fancy, but it will make them more readable. Good luck in the new year. but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

Blevins, Just stay out of this! Your advise is neither needed nor wanted! You are not involved in this! Robert99 You are not the Inflight Controller of me. Blevins, You have NO idea what is going on with this analysis or where it is headed. You have no technical or scientific qualifications WHATSOEVER that could possibly assist in this. All you are trying to do is inject yourself into it to buttress your ego that you are a "leading Cooper researcher". And you certainly don't know what is going on elsewhere on the overall Cooper matter. Finally, I don't need to give you the time of day or any explanation. As a certain poster here told you just yesterday, the free lunches are over. Robert99 Yeah. Let me drop you a hint. I didn't just fall off the apple cart last Tuesday. And I'm not looking for a free lunch. If you are so convinced that your calculations are correct and Al Lee, Harrison, Soderlind, the FBI, and ATC guys got it all wrong and YOU are right...then how about some proof instead of a bunch of written calculations that you know perfectly well 90% of readers here won't understand anyway. lol....Dang, did anyone else catch that in the space of a little over 1.5 hours, we lost 15% of our intelligence. That sucks. Or maybe, you should speak for yourself. I would imagine that there are quite a few readers on the dropzone who would understand exactly what he is saying, and those that don't could easily figure it out. Maybe we can just let let the conversation evolve for once? Jeez. Let him present his stuff - we can each judge for ourselves whether we want to put any weight in it. And if you don't understand it or think it's wrong, you can challenge it then. but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

Since you're keeping them separate, is the following fact or opinion?: "and only took it after a request by Miss Mucklow" And if you say it is fact, what is your source for this? but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

You should prepare a report on this and send it to the Seattle FBI c/o the current case agent. I would question the redactions, and send a copy of the transcript involved. There is one hard clue on the flight path. The location of the placard on the ground. It is not a hard clue on the flight path, probable maybe, at the very least. possible - like the money find. Because you assume a lot when you assume that the placard has stayed in the same location for what? 7 years after the flight? Not saying it didn't - and it may well be the best we have - but at its core it is still one more assumption. but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

Okay...I admit I substitute ham for the hog jowls but, eh, other than that y'all are all invited to partake.
-
You want hard truth. OK. There is no EVIDENCE, there are only stories. Your efforts are appreciated Obviously, up to now, the FBI sees no reason to use their resources towards listening to stories that aren't backed up with tangible evidence. lol....Yes you could be.
-
lol....So out of all that, all you got is that the scrapbooks were really a folder of clippings? I watched the Shawshank Redemption movie again the other night, so all I can say is are you being deliberately obtuse?
-
But, Robert, you're missing a nexus here: 1) Geestman is a liar 2) ?????????? 3) Kenny is Cooper I think he misunderstood what you are saying, but it doesn't matter because logic has never been a defining element of the KC did it crowd. The main take away with anything to do with Kenny Christiansen being DB Cooper is this: Almost every single item and point covered in all of the posts and the books are based on hearsay, anecdotal stories, and 40+ year old memories. She said this, he said that, he did this, he did that with almost no production of proof of same. furthermore, most of the stuff that has been produced by the KC is cooper crowd has been shown to be either grossly inaccurate, taken out of context, or leaps of logic. Let's see, all the scrapbooks stopped after the hijacking - what exactly does that prove? It could be that he kept scrapbooks but they got misplaced like the real estate documents. Or he just quit because he had better things to do. Maybe he got po'd at the editorials and quit taking the paper. A million maybes is all that KC is based on. The primary, first-hand actors in this play have a problem with egocentric memory bias - why wouldn't these people? We have only their word that any of what they say actually happened. Personally, I'd like a little more. Unfortunately, there has been no posted evidence of KC spending a lot of cash or giving out loans, and the worth of the estate when he died can be explained by the sale of resources that Kenny acquired before the hijacking. So all the endless posts and connecting nebulous dots is backed up by pretty much nothing. Maybe that is why the FBI is not following up because they do not consider him a serious suspect. And I didn't even go into the physical and psychological contradictions in trying to tie him to the case. but....A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.....Winston Churchill

Hey Quade, You are again the winner of the "Most Hollow Threat of the Year Award" here on dropzone.com. Great job doing nothing! You're one of the best at it. What a great example of civility and irony....and all in one post. Maybe there is an award for that too.

Well, if your reason for not disclosing your suspect's name is because if you did his family would deny you his fingerprints and DNA, that's one thing. But, you keep talking about books and movies. And, you seem to question the motives of some of this forum. Robert Blevins has his own suspect and so does Jo Weber. Georger has never shown any inclination toward selling anything. And, as has been discussed on this forum many times, there is only one way to make a small fortune on the DB Cooper case, and that is to start with a large fortune.
