It has taken on the quality of a high resolution photograph of Cooper. Every crease or dimple was not only accurately remembered by the eye witnesses, but accurately drawn by the artist. What are the chances that is true? Forget DNA, titanium, bismuth and all that irrelevant stuff. Its all about finding a match to the sketch. Talk to any cop or criminal lawyer about composite sketches. Sometimes they do resemble the bad guy but many times they are so far off that its hard to believe that the witnesses accurately recalled anything about what they saw. 377 Most of the socalled NEW info was presented in the thread before.

On the other two Ariels I attended, I would mostly try to discover who they thought Cooper was, whether he got away with it, how many times they've been to Ariel, how far they traveled, who they think is the suspect, etc. In my mind, the event is about THEM. Some have been attending for decades. Mostly locals. Again...if you haven't attended Ariel for some years, instead of harping on me to go a fourth time in a row...maybe you should go yourself and stop whining because I skipped it this time. I did the last three Ariels. After the last one, I decided I had enough of it for a while. It's almost three hours each way from my house, you know. I started taking a look at where I was spending time, and priorities. I determined it was Cooper-Heavy. I'm happier now than I have been in quite a while. Cooper has become not completely boring to me, but it's definitely taken a back seat to other, more interesting things. You only WISH you had my life, baby. I'm not sure how Revenge Story will do at Amazon. Forget Cooper. He's getting to be a bore. And I'm starting to believe the case will never be solved anyway. Maybe that's how it was supposed to end all along... I guess the real truth is this: Since most of the work I did on the case concerned Kenny, if it turns out he wasn't the guy, then I guess I don't care that much. The reason I decided to skip it this year is because I did it three years running, managed the long trip home safely, and did a one-hour video on it LAST year. Starts out with the same guy who continually told me 'Eff U' and 'Screw U' until he finally got banned from Dropzone. His buddy Bruce is in the same segment. Whatever I did to him I haven't a clue. Bruce is still okay in my book. I've already presented everything I have for the moment on Kenny Christiansen. Was he The Guy? Hell, I don't know for sure. But everything has been presented for now and there's no use beating a dead horse. Been working beyond belief since May, and my only schedule break happens after Thanksgiving. So I'm headed for the hills. Instead of facing a long drive home, I can just collapse in my tent after day hiking, cooking, target shooting, guitar-slamming, and sleeping until noon.

This is what I plan on doing throughout all that: I'm not attending the Symposium at WSHM. Hopefully, someone will ask Geoff Gray about KC's house and the arrangements on it for cash. Instead of Ariel this year, I'm going camping and will do a Cooper-related video. Trust me on this: I will have much more fun doing this than doing that long drive to Ariel another year, watching people smoke dope in the road and drink mass quantities. I did the video on Ariel last year. Someone else's turn. Can't go every year, and partly because a guy like Meyer Louie ('Fuck you, Blevins...') repeatedly until he got banned from Dropzone will be in attendance. Get real. This is even better motivation to go fishing at the High Lake and use my not-bad camping gear for a late-fall camp. If I ever needed anything to make this decision and prep up the gear, it was that. A man is often known by the company he keeps. Life goes on as before - without you. Have a nice meltdown!

I didn't know who else to contact - it was never acknowledged and now SOMEONE else got interested and will probably help me get it to the correct source and the most important is for the sisters to see the photo and let me tell them about Ed - The things Ed said and a conversation I was privey to - ZONA is the key! When the sisters tell me who ZONA was this thing will go flipping crazy. ZONA is a very important clue - and she was the connection between the brothers and Duane. There were NOT that many individuals with the right age named Zona back in the day. The FBI obviously never shared the letter with the proper authorities and if they did he did NOT contact me regarding what I had written - nor did he understand. IT is VERY obvious the authorities DO NOT want the brothers to be connected to Weber. Ed was part of Duane's life - at one or two points in his life. Trace Ed and you find Duane's past. Both were connected to a group out of Texas & in OR/WA. What was that group and why did this group use or help individuals on the run obtain false identifications? I want those sisters to see the pictures I have....they are old enough they will remember others and might have pictures of ZONA. Duane had told me about the brothers and that it was believed none of them survived...but, that one did actually survive. He actually told me details about the escape - I have NOT seen in print. I believe I discussed this in the thread some time ago. I was dissed on this like I was dissed on everything I have talked about regarding the life of Weber as told to me in 3rd person. Remember it was not until you guys showed the arrest article in St.Pete in 1958 - that I REALIZED all of the things Duane told me about were real - but he used 3rd person. If I recall this correctly, JT said he thought Melvin was the best candidate he had ever seen - and I never could understand what exactly JT was keying on in Melvin's background or character to justify such a reaction... Why do you feel your father is a DBC candidate? 1) He fits the physical description as well as, if not better than other suspects brought up on this thread. 6'. 180 lbs. black hair parted on the left, sideburns to mid ear length and olive skin. His eyes are listed as blue, but as you see he squints because he refused to wear glasses. My mom told me his eyes looked black because that is all you could see. 2) We did not have previous info on where he had been. He told my mom he was from Canada. He was born in 1927 and raised in Oakland. He went into the Navy in November of 1943. 3) Here again...unsure of any knowledge he may have had. In the Navy he was stationed on a few different ships. Going back to Carr....he put information from the FBI files to the public to generate interest and a memory. The work is already done on our end through NamUs. DNA results are completed and can be compared to the DNA samples at Quantico. Just need an agent to call back and say GO. So there you have it. According to Jerry and Himmelsbach Melvin has never been looked at by the FBI and has not been a candidate. If he has a simple email or phone call would be nice.
