Well, first...I would call the door question more common sense than anything else. The idea of trying to use the hijacker's own words and requests to figure out his intentions is nothing new. It's SOP in any crime investigation. It's kind of like that scene from Silence of the Lambs, the one where Dr. Lecter ask Jamie Foster (as FBI agent), 'What is it's nature?'. hijacker's (Cooper's) own words? Cooper's requests? What do you know the rest of us dont know!? Cooper requested a bourbon. Does that mean to you he was JACK DANIELS and intended to bail near a brewery or a bar? The rest of your comments fall in the catagory: no data available. I think "your" data is incomplete/invented. (please refer to standard dictionary for meaning) What YOU call "common sense" has proved to be totally spurious, wrong, and just plain nutty. You are a totally unreliable data server. That much, you have managed to prove - Once again, your Janet reference to Galen Cook is totally-factually wrong, but you keep stating and restating these wrong attributions, like some mantra. Get off the grift - Blevins. Find another hobby.

WHY would Duane know all these things and Why did he tell them to me? GIVE me a logical explanation of when and how and why Because chickens are not native to Nome Alaska?

the fact that Cooper wanted to take off with the stairs down points to someone who planned on jumping as soon as 305 gained enough altitude, not cruise another eighty or so miles with the door open. I think his DZ was more or less forced upon him by circumstances. Circumstances of what - a bowel movement? Explain your "I know it when I see jello" theoy! Or dont bother to answer. You (and we with you) have been down this same road 10,000 times. There are no facts to support your theory. You dont label it a theory because it isnt a theory and you only hope people wont catch on. What this comes down to is an empty vessel and what you would think and do - maybe". That in a nutshell is why Blast is a piece of crap, and everything you say is nonsense. Its all based on "I will know it when I see it maybe" and "they did what I would do maybe". That is your factual record, Blevinaide. Its all hot air based on an opportunity to type repetitive restatements of the same ole crap ovr and over. Maybe syaing it over and over makes it real? Or makes you real? Play it again Sam. Or give us something NEW ? Liek admitting you dont even know what a theory is!

First was when you added 'Janet' to the story, when she was only discovered in 2010 by Galen Cook. And yet another wrongo-dongo-thingie for the troll, Blevins. His bad - again! And, he never will get this one straight until the facts are released, which they wont be so long as the troll Blevins is hawking his wares in the Cooper case. The public is paying a HEAVY PRICE for Blevins. His BAD again! Keep paying! Keep paying! Keep paying!

I never said I was a parachute expert. But I CAN read a map, and the FBI's dual-edged, lame-o explanation on the Amboy parachute does not wash. By 'dual-edged' I mean this: First, they have Cossey saying that it can't be Cooper's because it's silk and not nylon. Second, because they use Lt. Floyd Walling as the explanation and that doesn't wash either. Third, they admitted it was a military chute. We will forget the part where they say it 'could' be from an NB-6, although if it was military there is a good chance it did. This has nothing to do with being a chute expert. It has to do with logic and facts. On the case of Walling, there are known facts. I want you to study that map image once again closely and after seeing it, try to tell me that the Seattle FBI got it right on the Amboy chute. I say they didn't. And if so, what is the real explanation for it? THEY were the ones that put forward that explanation, not I. All I'm doing is questioning it, and judging from the evidence, I'd say it's a legit bit of questioning. We understand the issues at stake and the logic involved -= you dont have to "school" us, Oh Grayt One-Thingie. As usually happens (in your case) you are missing data. I suggest we wait until the data is available, before getting stalled in the winter mountains for 3000 days ..... with a road(it turns out) closeby. Ponder that, abominable thingie-thingie. This case existed before you. It will definately exist after you. That is 100% guaronteed, thing-thingie.

Two 250 lb sleds were dropped during the Jan 1972 re-creation tests. Where were the sleds dropped and what happened to the sleds and chutes? I notice Cossey says the Amboy chute is a "cargo" chute? Is there any chance the Amboy chute is one of the cargo chutes used during the tests? For that matter, could the placard have come from the test flight? The test was done over the Pacific Ocean. http://www.thepilot.com/news/2011/sep/07/local-man-tried-to-help-solve-famous-skyjacking/ then that settles that - thanks. Weather note: Wilson says: "At that moment, the aircraft was flying through a heavy rainstorm over the Lewis River in southwestern Washington."

The facts of the case are all in the comic - read Carol Abraczinskis' translation of the Cooper Rosetta Stone. You have Greek, French, and Cooptik. Blevins gave Kaye/Carol the tip! It came to Blevins one day while balancing a steel lawn chair in the air with one hand, and standing on marbles in a snowstorm. It's a fine act of balance. [edit count] N/e1.....en[SV/deltaV]

Quote As I said, we should establish another thread, if Earhart is going to be discussed. I know interest is... I never said ... I think it was... you KNOW (I say) she wasn't doing that. I believe ... Sure, I say Noonan would have ... My understanding is ... I forget the name offhand... or (I say) you could try ... Look! I don't believe ... I say It was almost certainly ... I wonder, Didn't Earhart report ? If so, I say the Itasca guys they saw ... I have read that ... I don't know... I say One thing I had not heard about ... You know I say, Some folks have said ... Quote I dont think we need another thread. Reason is: THIS thread is not about you.

(On the attached map, Niko is referenced by its old name, Gardner) where did you find the map?

I haven't read everything, so might be mistaken, but I was under the impression that they had taken it as far as they were going to and published all their stuff here. http://searchforamelia.org/ From questions and comments page at above site....The Waitt Institute’s search for Amelia Earhart’s plane has concluded and unfortunately, we did not find the aircraft. However, with the hope that future searchers may be able to build upon the work we’ve done, we’ve elected to publish our research and results—including all sonar data from the mission—on this site. We take full responsibility for our work, including any and all calculations or assumptions, whether accurate or otherwise. We are confident Earhart’s plane is not in area of seafloor we surveyed. All appropriate comments submitted here will be posted on our ‘What We’ve Heard’ page unless you request otherwise in writing. Our goal is to generate positive dialogue and fresh ideas about where Amelia’s plane may still be found. If our research helps you with this purpose, we are grateful. In any case, please view this page as a platform where you can share your own theories and suggestions about what you think happened to the ill-fated World Flight. Im on the same page as you. Not a big priority but I do perk up when something is mentioned in the public sector. I tend to believe Robert99 and LaPooks analysis is solid, based on their credentials alone. I think Amelia and her husband were publicity hounds and Noonan got sacrificed for a bad cause? But thats just my opinion -

Do you plan a protest - with a sign Thingie?

Are you referring to Gary L? Yes, I have read his impressive nav analysis. I did celestial nav on tuna boats. Still have my sextant, sight reduction tables and Bowditch book. Back in the day there was no GPS and there were many parts of the Pacific where LORAN coverage was spotty or absent. I remember synching my watch to radio time signals every day right before I took a noon sun sight. No automatic "atomic clock" synching like today, I am talking about listening to a voice announcement from the National Bureau of Standards station WWV on shortwave (usually 10.0 or 15.00 MHz) and setting my watch manually. I've flown over Pacific island areas and I can tell you if there are spotty clouds and the sun angle is casting cloud shadows on the water, it is nearly impossible to visually distinguish a low profile island from a sun shadow. They look identical from a distance. 377 You've got the right name. I used to live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and every day at noon one or more of the local radio stations would give a time tone at precisely noon for the benefit of the fishing boats off the coast. You are also right about the cloud shadows being very easily mistaken for land. In the Bahamas, inexperienced overwater pilots from Florida chasing shadows is believed to be the cause of them eventually ending up ditching. After chasing a couple of mistaken shadows, the pilots get confused and are not really sure which planet they are on anymore. Gary LaPook. "When they were unable to get the radio signals they needed it is almost certain that Noonan would have turned off to the left to intercept a sun line LOP to the northwest of the island. From sunrise at about 1745 Z (0615 Itasca time) and for more than an hour afterwards, the azimuth of the sun remained 067º T so the resulting LOP ran 157-337º True. Noonan would have intercepted this LOP and followed it to Howland using the "single LOP landfall procedure" popularized by Chichester as "deliberate error" and also known as deliberate offset. This method had sufficient accuracy to allow them to find Howland and was taught to all flight navigators and was used thousands of times successfully during WW 2 and after to find small island destinations. In addition, the moon was also visible and provided good cuts with the sun line to provide daylight fixes.AE's last transmission at 2013 Z (0843 Itasca Time) stated they were on the 157º-337º line of position." https://sites.google.com/site/fredienoonan/discussio ns/amelia-earhart-s-flight-basic-facts cont... "Contrary to TIGHAR's premise, there was no way to navigate along the "157º-337º LOP" to Nikumaroro (I have written countless posts about this, the navigation is quite simple even though to non navigators it might sound complicated. To a navigator it is no more complex than getting in your car and driving to the supermarket to get a gallon of milk) so they did _not_ end up on that island." . . . v-sin i delta V edit count/C[n.....ns] LOP = [blevins/Oort Cloud]

I know some basics on celestial navigation. Not that difficult, it's been done for thousands of years. . Name one thing.

nothing happened from 61 until February of 68 and yet Knoss claims in March of 68 the party started? ? What are the Unicorns claiming? What are the assassins of Unicorns claiming? Keep your eye on the Unicorns. (and edit counts!) (and assassination attempts by Unicorns making edits) Who will assassinate Who next? Who is on First. ooh ooh almost forgot! Was DB Cooper Thomas Jefferson? Think about it! Keep your eye on Thomas Jefferson!!

What did USAF General LeMay have to do with your "case"? Nothing. Positively absolutely nothing. Why do you enjoy talking to nut cases? Knoss's attempt at a story doesnt even connect with reality - and it has nothing to do with the Cooper case ... or I'm the King of Siam. Why does this website get all the nuts?

Since this isn't face to face I tend to try to figure out who I'm talking to with what information is available. It's not always accurate or reliable...but many times I've found that when someone makes say 11 edits in 16 minutes as you did in the post above, it smacks of someone indecisive, unclear of their thoughts, possibly someone that has difficulty expressing their thoughts coherently. well yours is an "exotic" approach to be sure. edits count more than words/thoughts ? I can put you in touch with an authority on Shakespearre. who has a long list of people who have examine Shakespearrean writing with 'special techniques'. Looking for [edits] as a key to unraveling the realities Shakespearre might be a formula worth major media time! I mean some form of "truth" is your ultimate goal, I assume? Does my ethnic background show in my edits? On the other hand, have you ever seen actual copies of manuscript from Beethoven, Mozart, Oppenheimer, Rush Limbau, ... or Robt99 or RobertMBlevins, for that matter ? Obviously you are after an algorythm of some kind, revealed by, tied to, fostered by ... [edit]s. Now this post will not be edited because: I edited it as I went along! Fooled ya this time, eh! Or, I could have used the Preview and Spelling checking function provided here at DZ, to short circuit the dirtier method of editing afterthe fact - just to keep things clean for edit watcher counters. Im not sure if more or less edits proves anything or how one could beuild a reliable indicator by watching edits alone ... youdont even know what my right is doing while I write with the left as Im answering telephone calls, from ... ? I think your formula is simplistic and idiotic! From now on I will just leave things as they come of f my fingers complet with chicken tracks and who k nows what - I want to look li ke and be - Beecncdhdgvthoven! [edit] aw shit I had to edit this to ask to ask - I have always noticed you leave very long open spaces at the bottoms of your posts. Why!?

THAT took SEVEN edits...in 22 minutes?? Quote This is the second time this has come up. Newe (spelling change to suit Roibert99) one on me! So you (space correction) actually sit and monitor/count people's edits? Why would anyone do that or be concerned about that? What do you think an [edit] indicates? Indecision. Boredom. Parkinson's? Lots of phone calls to answer ie interuptions. Rank incompetence. a b c d e f g h io j k l m o p r t [last edit: thinks that should be ok] click. [edit of edit - question arises}: do you count toe taps? [edit]: OH I see! There is this underlined [edit] thingie that if clicked shows the number and times of edits as person has made to their post _very crucial info somehow!. Gee, this site really is autobated. What will they think of next? (thinking to self) Fire, air, earth, water, ether, and the wheel? {last edit I promise - to correct grammar, spacings, etc} {[\ very last edit \{}] spacing error above, sorry. THERE BY GOD! THAT LOOKS RIGHT! THANKS FOR WAITING. HAVE A NICE EDIT WATCHING DAY -

Seems the 'truth' is a slippery slope. . Go to the media if you have the "TRUTH"! Make your allegations public ? Seems to me all you want is some small audience you can pester to death, for a daily hormone rush of wellbeing, in somebody's protected unwatched back yard you dont have to take any personal responsibility for, for as long as that will be tolerated which is nearly forever. ... and what's with the Col Sander's beard? EDIT ALERT! There were in fact three edits to this post - only one showed - the proggy isnt working!) Have a nice edit watching day -

Food scattering on the landing in Reno: Question for Geoff Gray, since as far as I know, he is the only one to have said this. He should source it, I think. Or, you could just search and read the thread.

so? Blevins does 22 edits in 3 mins! Two weeks ago, let me remind you, we dug Blevins out of a mess. We comunicated about this trying to extricate him, or rather trying to get him to take actions to extricate himself. It was like pulling teeth to get him to see common sense! He was all morose and worried over allegations against him, if you recall. That over he comes back here full of piss and vinegar like nothing ever happened, and I had to wonder: "Is Blevins even playing with a full deck?" I have decided he isnt playing with a full deck. He is now cut off from my private email. Ive had enough of his bs. You can do or say what you want but my memory is fresh from two weeks ago, and now here we are all over again. Think it over Airt! This is what I mean by get your head straight. Its not disrespect for you but only a reminder, the very opposite, so do what you want about ole Blev. My mind is made up. Take care. no need for afterthought and edits!
-
Jeeze man, give it a rest...4 years and 5000 posts ago you use to actually add poignant & pertinent input...what happened? Blevins is not my problem. This isnt my responsibility. Not even on a good day. Get your head straight.
-
You just gave Blevins his next chapter - free! But that is not all - keep going - talk to Gray. Geof has the details. do not give it to Blevins. Some who do not like you will not approve my saying this but Bruce: keep it and publish your own story with this. Will check back later. Monday has already started here.

Right. No onboard meals were served, only snacks and drinks. I would ask Geoff Gray this question. Never heard this to be a fact. The crew, in general, were more than willing to do whatever Cooper asked, since they were afraid he might blow the plane in flight, anyway. No dogsl just pigs and monkies and some lowlifes from Auburn Washington leading clydsdales, four abreast. Oh a wolverines too! They all were sucking Popeye lolly pops. Actually, I believe 5 box meals were sent to the aircraft by Al Lee while it was on the ground in Seattle. They were in another box which also contained the additional aeronautical charts that the crew would need to fly to Reno and other points south. now you are getting warm. sellit to Blevins for his next book! Dont let that welfare case steal everything!

I have some questions about the Reno FBI's initial entry into flight 305's cabin... Did they have dogs? I believe I remember the crew getting food in Seattle...right or wrong? If they did order food that means the galley was empty and it just may have been the garbage strewn about. I don't remember where...but I believe I read that the flight crew tried maneuvers to get the hijacker off the steps...that could be a total fabrication as I can't remember where that rumor/factoid came from. Sounds like a skydiver food fight...... hangdiver As I understand it, Flight 305 had a couple of stops somewhere between Minneapolis and Portland. Presumably, a full lunch service would have been included on one of those legs. Did NWA unload the gallley trash and cutlery in Portland or did they haul it on to Seattle and unload it there plus stock up on meals for the next leg that the aircraft would fly? My guess is Seattle, an NWA hub, is where the NWA meal service would have been loaded for the next leg. So there may have been nothing (except for the usual sodas and peanut type snacks for kids) on board the airliner at the time it was hijacked. And, of course, the liquor service. The meal carts would have been secured before the landing in Portland and left there since no particular food service was offered on the leg to Seattle. So how did some food get scattered over the rear portion of the cabin? It would probably come from the serving carts trash. And it would take a lot of airflow, which the FBI didn't find during their trials, or a lot of vigorous aircraft maneuvering to get the food remants out of the carts. Just remember that the flight crew had been informed by the Chief FAA Psychiatrist in Washington that Cooper would probably blow up the aircraft when he jumped. That information is in the Seattle ground radio transcripts. When Cooper headed down those stairs, he was no longer in control of the situation. If you were a flight crew member, would you trust Cooper not to blow you out of the sky? Or would you take the opportunity to control your own fate as much as possible? Surprised (from your version given above) Geof Gray missed the important facts of this - he had em when he and I talked - God only knows what happened after that - we interviewed the exact same people, which Geof is 100% aware of. Sorry Blevins missed out on this! Guess he will have to wing it on Blevimations. Good luck. My lips are SEALED!
