Been there with the GF (that sucks!)..... Here's my day last week, my dad had a massive stroke in the morning, airlifted to hospital (he's alive but condition currently unknown), as I was leaving the parking lot on my motorcycle I barely touched a bud's bike and it tipped over and crashed....oh, and I was going to take care of a speeding ticket before they come and arrest me.........bad luck...yes!!!

Did you try the Nicotrol Inhalers? It's working for my dad.

Was Gary Morgan still running the place? I used to fly the jump plane from San Antonio down there for jumps on quite a few occasions. Like back in the 80's and early 90's! What a runway -
I quit (Copenhagen) 10 years ago this August. And I stopped the caffeine 3 months prior. Seemed to help a lot. Plus, I didnt' tell anyone shit. Didn't talk about it to anyone...... It was my own private, scary secret. Good luck we are pulling for you!!!

Nice story. True? Who is Triple Nickel? And there is no Runway 16 @ KCBM btw. Edit to add: ok, I re-read the entire article. I call Bullshit

We do have a sad medical system don't we!! You should ask for an "itemized bill", and check it over. Always lots of overages and mistakes there.

Yep, our old KC-135 (loved that plane with the old water injection engines!) was used. Our outfit (I wasn't here at the time) put the cast thru altitude chamber training here at the NBL. Pictures are still on the walls....

http://www.gozerog.com/ Not sure what the "fee" is but guessing in the $4K area.... If I could, I'd get you on a ride!

Turn to in in a few minutes, and you'll see where i work!! The NBL........

When we had the KC-135 we could easily hit about 25 - 30 seconds per parabola. With the 3-holer B-727....more like 20 seconds. 30 Zero-G, 1 Martian and 1 lunar profile were flown.....Not a fan of the last two! I pulled the shade open on one of the exit windows, as we hit ZeroG, flipped upside down and watched thru the window while I was inverted. Freaky....

We flew around 80 university students with their research packages onboard. Slots are hard to get Wendy!!

Nah, it's part of my NASA gig. Zero Gravity Corp. have our contract to provide microgravity for us. The crew are first class.

If you get a chance, it's a wild ride. Think my freefall position leaves a lot to be desired! http://zerog.jsc.nasa.gov/photos/11June09_ZG_Flt1Grp1B/lores/jsc2009e137279.jpg

Have another neighbor report it and say it's a 5 footer! Then they'll have to come out....right?

*bump* to 2009. I flew again this morning (at Ellington Airport in Houston) on Zero Gravity Corps B-727. We conducted 30 Z-G parabolas, 1 lunar and 1 Martian profile. They now have our NASA contract. Great team!, fun people and much thanks to all! And no, I didn't puke!

Although for tailplane icing with an aircraft with a T-tail config, there is documentation (NASA mind you) that shows a different recovery. ie, pull back on the stick. http://www.patricksaviation.com/videos/Contrail_25/3927/
