I love creativity! We're still undecided. There are two pros and one con to bringing our rigs and jumping while we're on this trip. The pro is big enough to still be even with the cons, though (does that make sense?). I think we'll end up deciding we want to jump...but worst-case scenario this is just the first trip of many more to come to San Diego so there will be more opportunities than just this time around to jump in Elsinore (or another DZ there.)

Bring a tent. Sleep on the beach. Wouldn't be my first choice, but I'd take it over not going at all. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Morocco! Add that to my list. I think Antartica would be cool. A good friend of the family was doing research in the South Pole and the pictures were incredible. I mean...everything was white, but still beautiful. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Oh my gosh, I hear you. Never, EVER watch when they do the most luxurious places in the world. I'm not talking luxury b/c the sinks are plated in gold (they're not), I'm talking just full-on amazingness; all for the low, low price of $100k+ for a couple days. I don't care much for extravagance, but these particular vacations they featured were just glorious, nature-wise. It's really, really sad when you're sitting there drooling knowing you'll likely never, ever get to see it for real. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I used to want to do that, too. I've also always been fascinated with sharks. Any shark-diving I do, though, is not purposefully done due to personal conflict.

Isn't that the truth. I'm trying very hard to make more of both. I think the smartest/best value way to go is to try and take off a big chunk of time and go everywhere we can in that amount of time on the eastern side of the world. It really adds up when you try to start planning for several different vacations/different times overseas. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You are . My best friend and her husband just took a two-week vacation there. I'm always really happy for her (she's well-deserving) when she gets to do amazing things. I was still, however, jealous as all hell. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Lord, I didn't. I have no idea what pirates have to do with Halloween or Friday the 13th but they all come out of their sunken ships where we live on these days. One guy all Black-bearded up even walked by and said "Boo!" to my doggie when we went to get sushi last night. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Self-explanatory title (and yes, I'm sure we've had one of these before, but answers might have changed). Discuss. I've already mentioned, thus far my favorite has to be Alaska. Since I've only traveled from Alaska to the tip of South America I'd really love to travel to the Eastern hemisphere: Greece is top of my list.

We've been playing with numbers via all ways to travel when you'll need a flight, hotel & car; best quality for best value. It seems the package deal really is the best way to go. American Airlines it is! JetBlue would have been my first choice but we'd have had to cut our vacation short by a day to return which we sort-of already did by leaving a day later than we wanted to due to an awesome opportunity that Friday that I just can't miss. Sooo....we got everything we wanted except the ideal airline, but it will be fine. I can suck it up. I think the rule is you can't board the flight buzzed but you can get buzzed while you're on it, right? Should there not be any entertainment provided, I'm sure I'll provide it myself.
