Well, it was in the 20's here today, but no snow. I'm so glad. I really dislike driving in it or shoveling it. The rational part of my mind, what little there is of that part left these days any way, says it's crazy to be skydiving when you have to plow the runway. Yeah. The forecast says it's supposed to warm up to a high of 36 degrees Farenheit. It was 19 here last night. I already have Under Armor, but I going to buy another pair of gloves. We couldn't even get the administration to let the student government contribute to a field trip where students would do a tandem as part of a physics class. But they do all kinds of things for the rodeo club. I've watched some of the college rodeos and I'd rather jump out of an airplane than try to ride one of those damned bulls any day. Whether to skydive or not has to be a decision made by adults for themselves. There is an omnipresent possibility you can die, and parents are not going to be real happy with that. Convincing a parent that it's ok to take that risk by using statistics will probably not be effective. Unles someone is a statistician, statistics are just numbers that people don't understand or trust. I don't think why someone wants to skydivie is going to be understood well by someone who has never tried itl (This, by the way, from someone who doesn't discuss that aspect of skydiving with her kids.
