Thanks for the idea. The floor is carpeted and has pretty decent padding, but I did learn after the first practice session to limit the number of tries. I've got my fingers crossed for the coming weekend. So far, it looks good and after having too much wind last week end, I'm really running out of patience! saturdays and sundays are for Skydiving anyway, and NOT football........ *** I guess that's why there is Monday night football! I enjoy watching a well-played exciting game, not one where one team is getting pummeled. I wouldn't bother to bet on football, or any sport, especially now that I need all my $ for skydiving expenses. Not to mention I'm a 49'er fan and the only way to bet there would be against them. Thanks for your posts on this subject. Your attitude is what I plan on using. My fist (and only so far) landing left a lot to be desired because I didn't PLF. Bounce/splat doesn't feel the best in the world. I wasn't trying to stand up,I just wasn't planning how to land at all really. I am now regularly visualizing doing a PLF when I land next time, hopefully this coming weekend. I figure the landings I will be able to stand up aren't going to be a problem.
