  1. China has contributed to the decline as well. Their increased demand for raw materials such as brass, copper, nickel, lead, etc. has driven the cost of ammunition to the point where most poor criminals can't afford the necessities of their trade. I think the government should subsidize all citizens with ammunition vouchers.
  2. That's what I have often wondered. Where would the clock be at back in the stone age? 12:00 noon? 11:30 PM? I'm sure somebody somewhere knows. 3. SLOW prey, to be exact. "Vegetarian": Ancient word meaning "poor hunter". HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit.
  4. Around 1823 Hugh Glass fed on a rotting buffalo carcass after he was attacked by a bear and abandoned by his trapping partners. Probably the toughest son-of-a-bitch that ever lived. 5. We used them to shoot rats in the barn. Low noise and just enough "oomph" to do the job. HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit.
  6. Humans were not "designed". We evolved. Part of that evolution was enabled by the ingestion of protein in the form of raw meat. Primates, including humans, have been eating raw meat of all kinds for millions of years and still do. You would be surprised by what some of our ancestors as recently as 50-100 years ago consumed on a regular basis and not only lived but thrived. Even today you can go into any convenience store and buy the same type of meat that humans have ingested for millions of years....jerky! It now has flavoring and spices added, but the base product is still just dried meat. I'd like to see you go back 300,000 generations and tell our ancestors they can't eat meat. They would most likely find you to be very tasty. 7. You must frequent a better quality of restaurant than the average skydiver. Yeah. The words "knife", "fork", and "cooked" don't necessarily apply. 8. There is a place for all of God's creatures.....right next to the mashed potatos and gravy. Yum!
  9. We used them for cigarette papers in the 80's when we were teenagers! I'm sure they have plenty of other good purposes, like a door stop, wind drift indicator, tinder for lighting the fireplace... A matched pair make great bookends for the "Fiction" section of your personal library. They can also be hurled at annoying cats. 10. I knew the truth would come out if I pressed long enough. But the one question that bothers me is, how did a penguin contaminated with explosives from 9/11/01 in New York....end up in a zoo in California eight years later??? Could be a movie here somewhere..... 11. Geez, Bill, do we have to explain EVERYTHING to you?? The reason that bird was belly up was because of all the nao-thermite sprayed on it's back. The truth will be revealed soon, possibly in the next few days, that it was penguins sprayed with nano-thermite that brought down the trade center towers. Building 7? That's where the excess penguins were stored. 12. But aren't the whales and dolphins in control of climate and everything? Nope, polar bears are. Polar bears are white and reflect sunlight and heat back into space. Since the polar bear population has been declining, less heat gets bounced and thus we have global warming. One solution would be to train penguins to stand with their bellies facing the sun instead of their backs. Actually, Polar bears are Black.... Hey! Are you trying to point out flaws in my senseless argument? Their skin IS black but the hair is transluscent and appears white. So THERE! I was wrong on TWO counts! And Bill's plan is just as dumb. Everybody knows dead penguins float belly down. 14. Like they say, only the good die young. Rush will be here for a while to comment on and make 10's of millions, buit never do anything for America. I call that a parasite. Lucky for you that listening to his BS is purely optional, but him paying more income taxes in one year than you probably will your entire life is not. I personally can't stand to listen to him, but the taxes he pays on those tens of millions sure come in handy for ol' Uncle Sam. 16. In all honesty, Amazon, that doesn't work. I have noticed you are one of the quickest, if not THE quickest, to start name calling and pushing the line with PAs. Case in point, when was the last time you made more than two consecutive posts about the Republican party without referring to them as "rePUBIClowns" or some other morphing of the word? 17. I don't believe that more guns leads to less crime, nor do i believe less guns leads to less crime. I do, however, firmly believe that the presence of guns changes the type of crime. A simple assault can become a murder when the assailant chooses a gun instead of his fist. Likewise, a rape and murder case can be prevented and turned to attempted rape when the intended victim is armed. 21. Well, Lucky, it appears the Rushter is going to live. I'd bet he was on his way out of this world, found out how happy you were, and pulled through JUST TO PISS YOU OFF!!! Happy New Year.
  22. "The truth is, that anyone, in america, new zealand, australia... can achieve what they wish." Bullshit. That is just a fairy-tale fantasy. I've seen plenty of people who have risen from nothing to success, but the cold hard fact is that no matter how much motivation a person has, that alone is not enough. I seriously doubt if you will ever see a severely autistic child ever grow up to be CEO of a Fortune 500 company. 23. In america, anyone can do anything they desire. They just need to fnd the motivation to do so! i left my family behind (in a safe place) to find my dreams. what is stopping anyone else? This ain't Hollywood. In real life motivation isn't enough. Real life sucks for a lot of people. 24. Not everybody gets to choose where they live, even in a free society. Manner people are stuck, even if temporarily, in places that are not very safe. If you don't believe me i would be happy to drive you through a couple next time you are in the States. During daylight of course. Driving through there at night is just asking for trouble.
