Hey, you're right -- and how lucky you are that YOURS was not the family he killed after being a released -- paroled! -- murderer! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

I just don't see why you stop there and don't favor just fully eliminating them. Instead, we get stuck with a BILL. Righteously executing this kind of human scum does not make us "just as bad as" him. Sorry. I will never agree to that. How about another example? - Person A commits the crime of theft, because he wants to install flat screens and DVD players in the headrests of his car. - Person B commits the crime of theft, because he lost his job and his kid needs insulin, and the rest of his family needs food and is in danger of malnutrition. Are both thefts equivalent? Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

What the fuck is wrong with you? First of all, you won't go within a hundred miles of addressing the post above you, which made EXCELLENT points here Second, when I made a poll that was sort of like that, I wasn't hiding the snide nature of it. Then I made one that was NORMAL and OBJECTIVE and PLAINLY ASKED, and you still just reference the other type. Big surprise. When things change, and now accommodate your tastes, you still complain about the way they used to be done. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Who the fuck asked you? Jeffrey, slow down (if this is ever possible to you): It's the internet, you post here and have to expect replies. If wanted or not. Every poster at dizzycom is allowed to reply to your posts (or what you call post) Even I do not understand why they bother to do so ..... From everywhere in the world. You're like an open book: Visible. Jeez. How about an anger management (training)??? Even after 4 years of vacation, you're still like a cooking pot. I view you to be like an insane person--the kind you just nod and say, "Okaaaaaayyyy," to. You never make any sense, to me. So you are among the last people from whom I would ever take advice, or from whom I would be bothered to receive criticism. Have a nice night.

QuoteWhat word would you prefer I use in my question? Note that it's my question, you don't get to change it to a totally different question. Why didn't you say, "The result of the invasion has been 3000 servicemen dead. Do you feel that was worth what we have gotten in return?" What the fuck is so hard about that? It doesn't ask for people to imagine that they had prescience back in 2003, which is stupid. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

They're not worded exactly opposite of each other, which was a mistake, but they're also not terribly biased. If you were given the option of sacrificing 3000 service members for Saddam's removal from office and execution, you either would or would not take it. Which is it? Personally, I would not. Blues, Dave You did it again. ...sacrificing 3000 ......... Care to try again? Dont you see you framed the pole in a way that anyone disagreeing with you does not have a choice they can make? Don't you know?... That's only wrong if I do it, dude. What the fuck are you thinking?! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

What a ridiculous question from word one. No one ever said that the purpose of the mission was to execute Saddam Hussein. What an idiotic poll. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

"I was here first. You can't come in." I hear the same thing about living in any city. Someone moved here 10 years ago, and they're bitter about all the people that moved in after them. What a specious misdirection. It's not like there is a line of unborn people waiting to exist. No one who doesn't get born sends us communications asking what the fuckin' holdup is. They don't exist. It's up to the people who do exist to make new ones. If they just keep their fucking pants on, the world won't be so inundated with unsupportable offspring. Yup, those are some of the major problems, in a nutshell. "Hey, what am I doing inside this nutshell? How did I get in here?" Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire -

Prime candidate for extermination I know this is not a new story -- it's a few months old. I don't know for sure what the disposition of the case against him is, as of now. OUR SYSTEM let this fucking vermin piece of shit OUT so that he could live his life free -- AFTER a conviction for MURDER. THIS is how "the System" "protects" the public. I need not remind you that HE IS STILL ALIVE. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Something he did IN CONGRESS accomplished that? What did he do, walk into Senate chambers wearing an 8-Ball jacket? Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire -
I know where they stand. But Obama doesn't know where he himself stands: witness the fact that he continues to tell people (along the campaign trail) that he "supports the 2nd Amendment." Whenever the subject does come up, and he makes that claim, the media DO NOT show up with the refutations you will find in that link. It is dereliction of the press's duty. I really don't think it's hard to imagine such a place. It's making it a reality that's hard. Would the corrections officers unions let this happen, and put them out of jobs, without lobbying (i.e. paying off) legislators to keep from happening? Would bleeding hearts allow for the idea that no longer would ANYONE get to go and visit these inmates, since there will be no guards escorting them to visitation? Who's gonna pay to have a prison system to house 2 million prisoners each with his own plumbing? The more I think about this, the more impossible it seems. You can NEVER quite make it so that people don't have to interact with the prisoners (and thus be 100% safe from them). Prisoner stuffs up his toilet: someone has to go in and fix it: someone has to interact with the prisoner while that happens. How would the bleeding hearts handle it if we said we were not going to give medical attention to the prisoner who is faking a heart attack or epileptic seizure? You can't very well just say, "Fuck him!" -- although frankly I would love to. The bleeding hearts would not allow it. Please address how you would handle these issues, if you wouldn't mind. I'm curious about how deeply you've thought about this concept, and whether you truly have all the bases covered or are only saying you do. Why have we not been able to take away the exercise yards now? I still say that the best way to do that is to remove the life from the prisoner. You can say that a society that does this degrades itself; I disagree, and believe that a society does this demonstrates a firm commitment to itself and its own well-being. Those who depart from society by becoming criminals are no longer a part of the body that society needs to be protecting. At that point, they are the pathogen to which society must react and from which it must save itself. Antigens don't cordon off pathogens and keep them alive somewhere in the body for no good use; they destroy them. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

I disagree. I think that gun rights have been discussed plenty (by the Democrats, Republicans, and Media) and that individuals can make choices that will affect their gun rights unlike other issues. OK. But my experience has been that the ONLY place in the news that gun rights gets discussed is on the letters-to-the-editor page. Occasionally the print news is kind of forced to write a story about some development of national significance, or the news like in Texas about some school district that is allowing teachers with some sort of special hostage training to carry guns on the job. But every time I see a Time magazine article comparing candidates, or a newspaper article doing the same, and there's a sidebar with info on "the issues," gun rights is NOT THERE. That is indeed one way of manipulating what issues people are thinking about, or getting information about. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Border protection form the deadly Canadians
birdlike replied to Armour666's topic in Speakers Corner
Nor, I hear, is your "free public health care" all that it's cracked up to be, either. it's not as bad either considering the unversal access people have to it. You're right. All they have to do is cross the border into the U.S. and bam! -- all the health care they need! Oh, yeah -- or they can wait six months to a year for an MRI or a sonogram in Canada. This coming from a man who just posted on the Internet that he carries. I'm through talking to you. You refuse to understand anything anyone else says. Can't wait to see how long that lasts. Um, there's quite a difference between telling a bunch of people you never see that you carry, and making sure that a whole bunch of your personal friends know that you carry. Why not go tell Amazon that she screwed up? She announced that she has a CCW, too. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Yes. Think about -- what else -- the Gun Rights issue. Where the fuck did it go?! Anyone who is pretending that it need not be discussed with a view toward mattering in the election because the SCOTUS "settled" the issue is a liar. There remains much to be settled about it -- and the next president may get to stack the SCOTUS with appointees!! So where the fuck is the media coverage?! You know OBAMA doesn't want publicity on his ABYSMAL voting record and personal opinions on gun rights. If that gets out loud enough, he will lose simply because he won't have the votes of enough gun owners. NO one gets to be president if he doesn't get at least a good portion of the gun owners. It's just a fact. The NRA is not the only factor in an election, but it can make itself be a major one when necessary. McCain... I don't know why he doesn't hammer Obama about guns. It could be that as much as Obama would need gun owners to be duped into voting for him, McCain will need certain Dem swing voters to forget for a while that he's less opposed to guns than they'd like him to be.
