  1. EAA imports the Russian Baikal IZH27 over-under. While not pretty they work great for trap and you can't beat the $500 price tag. Sweet! Now the question is does Impact sell them? Muff #5048
  2. Oh and theres more to come. I'm picking up a Ruger 10/22 Deluxe rifle on Friday. Has a free float barrel, rail for scope (but so does my MK III) sling swivels and an all American walnut stock. I think after that one Im going to be looking for shotguns. I REALLY love the over-under's, but I hate the price. Hell, for the price of an over-under I could buy a DAMN nice AR WITH A SCOPE to go with it!!! Muff #5048
  3. And as a side note, I'm thinking that I like all these guns equally so I'm just going to buy all of them and deal with silencers in maybe a year or so. Mike Miller- Just another nutter with a bunch of guns!!! Muff #5048
  4. And now I give you the Ruger MK !!! with comp trigger, sights, and bull barrel. 2 .22's down and a whole lot more to collect.... Muff #5048
  5. I dont know when you were planning on coming, but the dz's are opening up fairly soon too. We have both Skydive Utah and Skydive Ogden that are equal distance from the airport. Muff #5048
  6. What do you want to use it for? I have an iphone 3GS and love it. I pay roughly $100/mo and have unlimited text, unlimited data (thats the internet), and unlimited mobil to mobil. Smart phones are great if want to have internet everywhere you go. The apps are a big plus too. You also have the ability to store music on the phone and use it as a sort of backup ipod. It all depends on what you want to do with the phone vs. how much you're willing to spend per month. Muff #5048
  7. Update. So Ive made up my mind and here is what I decided. Im buying both the RugerMK3 AND the Sig Sauer! Just picked up the Sig today and will likely go down to Impact sometime this week to get the MK3. The thing is that our BX doesnt have any ruger .22's so I 'impulse' bought the sig because I liked the trigger pull and the feel and weight of the gun. So next weekend it will be the MK3 and then its off to the range with my friend to shoot .22 all day and not pay far out the ass for the ammo. Thanks again guys for all the info. It feels good to have something that doesnt shoot the money-hungry .40smith that my Glock likes, but still be able to get quality practice and fun on the weekends.!
  8. I was actually thinking this to myself. I hate to be a cynical bastard when 2 people in love have just committed to oneanother, but they're so young and dont really know what life has to throw at them yet. Not to be a dick or anything, but this marriage only happened after these two had a child. This disturbs me a little, but not too much. Like I said I work with the grooms mother and I know that child will be well cared for. Still, a shitty reason to tie the knot if you ask me. Muff #5048
  9. Pretty fucking awesome isn't it? Ive been letting it run all day! Muff #5048
  10. You know, I agree. I dont think the kids should get all the technollogy that so many of them have until they can buy it themselves (and that inludes paying for internet and cable). Hell, I didnt really have shit (techno wise) until I joined the AF and bought it for myself. Muff #5048
  11. So I just got back from a wedding. It was my coworkers son and his ladyfriend getting married. I was there in a working capacity shooting vid, stills, and running audio for the reception. On top of that I helped out here and there where my iphone gps came in quite handy (they needed some random shit throughout the setup phase). Ok down to the real entertainment of the evening. The bride invited her ex-bf to both the wedding and the reception. She told her, now, husband that she wouldnt invite her ex. Explain to me why the fuck kids these days have to go out of their way to make drama for each other? Also, the ex contributed to it. He knew that none of the family or the groom for that matter wanted him there, but he stayed anyway. WTF? BTW, before you guys get on me about calling them kids, they are litterally teenagers and Im almost 30 so yeah I get that privelige. Either way, the money was good for me and the antics were fun to watch. Muff #5048
  12. I think Ive already decided on the Ruger. I also have a Glock .40 model 22, but like you said its just too damn expensive to shoot all the time. Muff #5048
  13. Or heres something.... You could spend 1/3 of the ammount on a Ruger MK3 then you would on the H&K, and give it to me because I'm such an awesome brother. Muff #5048
  14. Thanks for all the input guys. Looks like the Ruger is the gun of choice. The one I was looking at had a bull barrel with adjustable rear sights and a match grade adjustable trigger group. All this for like $320. Muff #5048
  15. Impact Guns sells the real deal. They also carry a variety of machine guns for purchase.... That is if you have over $10,000 min. I think the light .30 they had was like $30K. Muff #5048
  16. Does the Walther price include the Class 3 license and tax stamp to get the suppressor in the first place? Yes the gun+supressor is $500 and the NFA is $200. Muff #5048
  17. Does your program just run itself? Ive got 15 browsers open and it appears to be refreshing itself on its own. I really do love my connection. Muff #5048
  18. SLC international is going to be the closest big airport. Its only like 25min from Park City. When are you coming? Ill share some tunnel time with you if you like. Muff #5048
  19. So I went to Impact Guns today to check out some handguns. What I'm looking for is a 22 just to practice with and be cheap to shoot. Heres my 3 choices. Ruger MK3- $320. Cheap, reliable, and feels good in the hand. Sig 22- $415. Not quite as cheap, but still reliable and grip feels good fit to my hand. Walther P22 with supressor package- $700 Not really cheap, still reliable, but feels like a toy in my hand. So which would you guys get? The low cost Ruger that can never accept a supressor or the quiet P22, or maybe the Sig that you can put a supressor on in the future? Muff #5048
