  2. So here it is. After an uneventfull 2nd wingsuit flight I deployed my main at about 5000'. Main opened and immediately went into a violent left turn. with the wingsuit I was in, a Prodigy, I was able to grab the right rear riser and flatten the canopy back out a little. I reached up and got a hold of my left toggle and pumped it a few times as well as shaking the left risers to get the slider to come down. It was then I noticed the tension knot on the left side line group and it would not come out no matter how much I tried. I then made a decision. Hands on handles, pull red, got stable, pulled silver and was greeted by the most beautiful white PD reserve Ive ever seen by 2800'. Landed out on the south end of the airport. All gear recovered. Beer owed; 1-case for a first wingsuit flight, 1-case for a first cutaway, 1-bottle of liquor to my rigger for saving my ass. Muff #5048
  3. Pleanty of stuff in the classifieds if you go through a few pages of ads. If it isnt anything you want right just now then keep your eyes open and you'll find something. Best bet is to go to your local gear dealer and see what he/she has for sale using your instructors advice for size/type.
  4. I have both a Pilot 150 and a Nitron 150 that I'm absolutely in love with. VERY responsive, but tame on openings (the Pilot more so). Just demo the crap out of a bunch of 9cells out there and see what you like the best..... With proper mentoring from instructors/canopy coaches. Muff #5048
  5. 0:3:0 2 H&P's with a little backtracking on exit, and a full altitude tracking dive with an avg freefall rate of 102mph. Muff #5048
  6. It's ALWAYS about food with you! Syphilis is a disease. Crabs on the other hand.... Muff #5048
  7. Ill be sending that to my squadrons CPR training monitor first thing in the am. Muff #5048
  8. Those cant be you. Niether of the poeple described in those photos look like your avatar. Muff #5048
  9. AH-so, you are referring to the ancient art known as CHING CHING-POW. Think its called CRICK CRICK-BANG!!! Muff #5048
  10. I appreciate it guys I really do. The money I have to put into my car to make it compliant pretty much makes it so that wont happen (need a new windshield and thermostat... maybe even a transmission flush). Suck that priorities are what they are, but I trust that I wouldn't be too much fun to be around these days (work stuff). I'm going to keep on keeping on and maybe get a jump or 2 in before the end of the month. With any luck we'll meet up at LP or sooner if you guys end up coming down here before that.
  11. Thats the one Im really trying to make this year. The only foreseable reason why I wouldnt go would be if I got accepted to be a jump instructor at the AF acadamy (fingers crossed). Lucky, Take good pics and post em up. And if the cannon comes out I want vid. Muff #5048
  12. I gotta fix the car and get it inspected. Looks like Ill be jumping local this go round. Muff #5048

  15. Sounds like the symptoms of a power supply to me. Here is a link to a power supply on that website. It sais not in stock but you could always call them and see when they can get one in for you. Beats the hell out of buying a new tv. http://www.shopjimmy.com/adpc24200t2p-power-supply-unit.htm Muff #5048
  16. This, ladies and gents, is an OPINION ONLY. Another opinion would be "I like being able to just go and do shit whenever I feel like it and spend MY money on whatever whenever I feel like it.". Muff #5048
  17. Good call. Before ordering anything I reccommend that you closely examine the power supply. Mine had fuses on it. What Im getting at is it may just be something as simple as replacing a cheap fuse. Muff #5048
  18. Here ya go. I had the power supply on my Insignia 32" LCD take a crap a while back and I used these guys to get a new one. When you do your search search by brand of tv and size. Also, you may want to take out the power supply of the TV so you can visually reference it with what is shown in the pic on the website. Good service from these guys as well. http://www.shopjimmy.com/tvs/internal-parts Muff #5048
  19. Other than the fear-drunk sheep buying up all the guns and ammo making it hard for me to buy stuff nothing. In a way, he helped out the gun industry big time through the ammount of sales he inadvertently caused by his very being elected. I will add though, that the industry has seemed to have caught back up and things are showing back up in stock at my local gun stores. Muff #5048
  20. It hasn't been mentioned yet, but how about asking your DZO if he has any gear for sale. If so I know more than a couple who have let folks "rent to own". Basically they pay a rental fee on the gear when they use it or just make payments on the gear every couple weeks or so then when its paid off its yours and you can take it home. Just a thought. 21. Pretty confident it wasn’t intended as such … but that comment immediately reminded me of Paula Loyd (SSG, USAR). Marg Nope. What I said was simply a joke and nothing more. Muff #5048
  22. They would need to pay me a truckload of beer to take a baby off their hands. I would say more like 18 years worth... Yup sounds about right and Ill add that 18 years worth of beer is a shite side more than a truckload. Muff #5048
  23. Or if you have a lot of straining to do. Or if its the next day after a night of beer drinking shits. Muff #5048
