Ill do you one better. Ill fly an x-bird on my back doing a rodeo and try to win the distance challenge. One caveat, rodeo passenger must be an attractive female. No sausage rides. Muff #5048

I think we're using the "yo! I smoked you, bitch!" technique... Well in that case, [rick james voice] Gimmie the biggest fuckin suit ya got bitches [/rick james voice]. Muff #5048

Sounds like fun. How exactly are we going to measure the distance contest? GPS maybe? Looking foward to giving it a shot though its unlikely Ill win with some of the suits others will be using. Still going to be a ton of fun. Muff #5048

I had a cell phone in my side jean pocket that I forgot to take out in Mesquite. Yup that things out in the sand somewhere. And yes I was livid at my own stupidity on that one. Muff #5048

Same here. I just put $7 in the main tray and somehow it packs itself in like 10 min. Muff #5048

SWEET! You guys flying suits that play well with a P2? I'm really looking foward to the view and even some puffies (we dont get all that many in UT).Good to see we've got an organizer for the newer w/s guys like me. Usually I just exit first and fly base, but I would like to expand my skills a little in catching up to the base guy. Muff #5048 -
Hells yeah man! Theres a jumper new to the dz that came out and what did he have on his rig? none other than a Tonysuit T-Bird. Let me tell you the Phantom 2 and the T-bird flock incredibly nicely togeather. Another thing he had was a Garmin wrist mounted. Our foward/ground flocking speed was in the area of around 110 mph! Yep, 'll be organizing flocks and providing wingsuit first flight courses for those qualified. Hope to have some demo suits for birds that want to try something new. Wingsuiting? Did someone say something about wingsuiting? I guess since you guys are twisting my arm so damn hard Ill be there. It really would be nice to flock with more than like 2 effin people. Add millertime24 to the list. BTW, do you guys want me to bring some Utah beer? Seriously you can drink like 20 of them and not be drunk. You'll feel like a barroom hero! Muff #5048 -
0:4:0 Got in some good wingsuit flights with some flocking and docking. I'm also pretty surprised how well a Tony Suits T-Bird flies with a Phoenix Fly Phantom 2. Good times. Muff #5048

Just got in another few w/s jumps today. At this point im telling people at my dz "my name's Mike Miller and Im a w/saholic". While Im jumping by myself these days, theres so many up-jumpers that see me in my Phantom2 and say "I cant wait to do that!". Looks like Im poised to start a w/s following at my dz. But seriously, this shit is crack. Back to your normally schedulled drinking binge. Muff #5048

I use 4. An Alti-Galaxy on my left hand, a Neptune on my right, an Optima in my ear and the all important MK-I Eyeball. I figure chances of all of these going out in a single jump is next to zero. Its always good too to know one of them doesnt need batteries to work either. So...your eyeballs are battery powered? My Alti-Galaxy doesn't take batteries, either. Well technically the brain is nothing more than a series of electrical signals being processed so um yeah I guess. Havent you ever seen the Matrix? Muff #5048

First Cut Away Question
millertime24 replied to DoubleDogDareMe's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
It meant less gear fear for me. After it happened I KNEW I could handle it without any question. As for thinking about having "no more parachutes after this", didnt even cross my mind. I was thinking "holy shit this thing is going to kill me or worse cripple me and it has to go". Muff #5048 -

So you pulled and he got off? Ah, he did the thing with the sex joke. Muff #5048

What he said. But take it from a x-ray tech (me), dont even bother going to the doc for this one. For the way they'll treat it your gonna waste a lot of money. Get one of those donuts to sit on if it bothers you that bad... Thats all the doc is going to do. Muff #5048

ARE THE BEST EVER!!!! My DZO decided to rodeo me on my W/S today. Little harder to fly, but not unmanageble. What really got me off was when he told me how solid I flew the suit (Phantom 2) when we got to the ground. Man I love this sport so much. BTW, he got off at about9,000'. Guess how I know. Thats when my Neptune said I pulled! Muff #5048

I havent done that and it very well could have attrributed to the tension knot. Either way Ill be giving the gear a good once over before jumping it again just to eliminate any other potential issues that may come up. Also, theres been quite a bit of discussion between me and a few other people about this maybe being more prone to happen with HMA lines. I really dont know if that has a lot to do with it, but now that Im in a statistics class I almost want to run the numbers on this one. Muff #5048

:2:2 2 wingsuit jumps on Sun afternoon due to crappy weather all weekend. for first WS jump. for first cutaway. Yes they happened on seperate jumps. Muff #5048

Yup. What kind of liquor do you like? Muff #5048

I DID hang on to my handles too. I also found myslef loosening my chest strap and trying to collapse my reserve slider (basically looked for the tabs before going "wait a minute"). Funny how the little things get ingrained. Muff #5048
-
That sounds contradictory. Was it your 1st or your 2nd wingsuit flight? ^^-What he said. Since it didnt happen on the first WS jump then I owe 2 for 2 different reasons on 2 seperate jumps. Trust me, the beer nazis were VERY clear when explaining this to me. Muff #5048

If I had to guess, and this is speculation only, I would think it may have been the fact that I had a packer pack my rig in about 3min so I could make the last load. Not that I BLAME him just seems like the most logical explination. Muff #5048
