    Posture young man posture. Also, what are you wearing? Dress for success. Many people learn to sit fly best in a pair of shorts. The reduction in drag by not wearing a jumps suit makes it a bit more simple. Keep your back straight, don't slouch, and push down with your feet, have a nice wide base, keeping your feet apart. oh yea and what they said get some video so you can see what the hell you are doing wrong.

    My mother was diagnosed with cancer of the throat and possibly the lungs. My mom is a wonderful women who spent most of her life dedicated to rasing the four of us children wich she adopted from different families. She is a kind hearted loving women who never wanted anything but the best for everyone in her life. She has sacrificed so much for those around her and asked nothing in return. She always did the best to take care of her health she never smoked or even drank for that matter. At this point she is considering the radiation treatment recommended to her, I believe her final decision will come next week when she gets the result of her lung biopsy. Please keep her and her husband in your prayers. They have been married over 50 years, and I don't know how he will deal with this. thanks.

    Yea, but he really did get screwed in that deal. If I packed my stuff and moved to start a new job and the same thing happened to me, I'd be a pretty upset too.

    Why would you say that? I worked for Titusville for a while, I never had any problems getting paid at the end of the day. You can say what you will about the owners, opinions vary, but in the long run if you are making money and being paid properly, you really cant complain. Its there sand box and the can lump their piles as the wish. Have you had a bad experience with either of these DZ's?

    ok, since you have already started shooting video, well before you should be the best advise I can give you is take your camera helmet off put in in the closet and leave it there until you have about 120-150 more jumps. now that I said that, knowing full well that you are not going to take that advise lets talk about ring sites. You dont need one, you just think you do. Get a good pair of goggles, the kind that fit the same way every time you put them on, then go to walmart or what ever, and buy a pack of those paper reinforcers aka paper assholes. site your camers properly and put the paper asshole on you goggles. Your framing will be fine using this method. You dont Need a ringsite, unless you are shooting bigways or competition video or some other stuff its not really necessary. Ring sites can be snag hazzards and frankly and according to your profile your not ready for the risks of an entanglement with your camera helmet. Good luck, if you have questions feel free to ask.

    all your trying to do is hold the rig closed just make a loop out of the shoelace and run it through, that will keep the rig closed.

    "bulging" disks are not uncommon, they flair up and return to their normal state, some people have them and dont even know it. I have herniations in c5 c6 and c7 sometimes I have some discomfort and Ill slow down some but it doesnt stop me. I have a FTP with 2 video camera and an inverted still rebel XT. I don't know how bad your spine is, have you had an MRI, if not I would question the validity of your doctors diagnosis. However, if your condition is serious and potentially may require surgical intervention, ya might wanna take his advise. Good luck feel better

    Has Jump Shack been made aware of this Malfunction? Im not pointing a finger, Im just asking for the sake of clairifacation, Could this have been prevented by a better inspection of the gear on the ground?

    Im not sure where your located because its not indicated in your profile, My only advise is to contact your local DZ and speak to an instructor. I am sure they are going to want you to do a ground school refresher and review emergency procedures then they my want you to do probably a level 3 AFF and a level 7 with instructors before clearing you to solo again. Thats what I would suppose. Anyway welcome back to the sport. enjoy the high.

    Chrissay, I've had that problem with a printer in the past, if you have replaced the printer cartridges and cleaned or replaced the printer head try disconnecting the printer, go into your computer software and delete the printer then reinstall it. Im no computer guru but its possible some of the drivers may not be functioning properly. I dont really know what your specific printers problem is but that worked for me. Its worth a shot.

    Death, is a part of life, we are all going to die, but you already know that. I have a strong faith in God, and I believe when is my day to die it will happen in the manner God sees fit. I don' t know why some people leave us in the manner and time they do but it's not for me to know. When people I know pass I grieve as does anyone else, in there own way. Then I remember the good times I had with that person and thats what I try to hold on to until the pain of their loss subsides. I refuse to stop doing things in my life that I enjoy because they might be "dangerous" When its my day to die It will happen.
