    how about just not taking a tandem up in winds that too high. there is a time to push limits, however, I'd prefer not to push them when I have someones wife, mother, son, daughter, father, husband or friend attached to my chest.

    Matt, I have the quantary same quantary zoom lens that you have seen me jumping before, I still have no complaints with it. Its a great lens, the price was right and its held up fine so far

    His name is Yoshi, hes no longer in Titusville. He left some time ago to go to texas I believe. Yoshi is a great videographer. Any of the staff in Titusville can do your video though they all kick ass

    Ill let students fly the canopy around with me until about 1500 feet after that, its time for me to go to work. The toggles are mine from that point until we are back on the ground.

    I have about 1000 jumps on a tri, 220. I just purchased a spectre 210. both canopies are very similar. I like my spectre a bit better though, it opens in about 500 feet nice, soft and on heading. I found it to be more responsive than the tri and requires less toggle pressure. The tri gave me nice opening about 100 foot snivel, I had a few slammers with it but not enough to complain about. I think you'll like either canopy you go with. fly them both and then decide.

Its funny that your dropzone's web site is www.jumpjax and their phone number is 1 888 jump jax. I know the web site domain was set up when Cathy was trying to get the DZ in Jacksonville set up but is there any intention of changing the domain name of the web site?

    My first, and so far only mal on my sport rig was packed by a packer, it opened so hard that 2 lines broke. I obviously chopped it but was able to recover the main. I brought my rig to the packing tent (Dublin Boogie 2005) and showed them what happened. Packing Kathy's crew was running the concession. Not only did she pay for the reserve repack, she offered to pay for the repair of the lines that broke. Now, do I blam her packer for the mal, Hell no, but I thought her offer was damn nice and spoke volumes for her professionalism.

    I use auto focus on every skydive with the exception of night jumps because the camera doesn't auto focus well in the dark. I've never had a problem with it. I am shooting with the digital rebel with a 19-35 lens

    Chris, I dont know what your situation is but are you in college? Chester is having a college day special Sept 30 and Oct 1 tandems are at a reduced rate with a college ID. Its going to be a pretty big event with bands and all kinds of different activities. Chester is a great drop zone with some of the best people you will ever meet. I was up there this week and had a blast. I know you will have a great time on your skydive. enjoy yourself.
