I had a problem with mine similar to that. It will probably cost you nearly what the camera is worth to repair it. I would put the camera on ebay or craigs list. Im sure there are plenty of people out there who would pick it up without ever using the remote switch. Just my .02

alright, heres what I know so far about this boogie Registration is 30.00 Online registration will be set up very soon at www.teamdirtysanchez.com after speaking to Denis this afternoon we are to have 2 yes 2 aircraft online for this boogie. The primary will be the sky van and the secondary will be the Caravan in the event that the wait time gets long (which it should because so many people will be coming right) Included in the boogie registration will be dinner saturday night beer saturday night a DJ a band Organizing RW organizing will be Jeff Guy, Im not sure yet who will be organizing Free flyers but I'll get back with you. This is what I know so far. We are still in the process of organizing other events so I will let you know. On a side note, Ladies and gentlemen, let us remember that the weekend of this boogie is also Veterans' day weekend. I personally encourage each of you to take a moment especially during this weekend to remember those who have given their life in service of their country, Those who are currently or previously engaged in the wars their country sent them to, and the families and loved ones of our soldiers' both alive and passed.

I agree with JP, it depends on what Im shooting; RW or tandems, I wear wings, Im 230 lbs, so the wings give me some range . If Im shooting freeflying, I find that my camera suit slows me down too much so I'll go with the baggy jump suit and that usually does the trick.

depends on were you are located. Deland is probably an hour and thirty minutes away to the north west or sebastian is about an hour away south on I95 both are good drop zones, I enjoy my trips to sebastian.

I think it depends on why you think you need it, If your shooting photos and need something thats "spot on" brent's concentric is probably the way to go. I have brent's "cross" site and its been fine for the photos and video I shoot. If your just looking for anything I think the Newmans site is fairly inexpensive.

Its funny you bring this post up Chris. I've spent some time recently reflecting on my past, present and future. Trying to discern why I made some of the decisions Ive made and and how they effected me in the long run. Although I don't "regret" any of the decisions Ive made, given the chance there are some things I would have do differently.

PA removed by slotperfect. Just because someone explains the rules doesn't mean people will follow the rules. I'm not a big fan of some of the stuff that goes on at Skydive Deland, thats no secret. However Deland has got damn good instructors. Your smart ass comment adds nothing to this thread and simply makes you look like PA removed by slotperfect.

The owner of SMB is Pat and Greg Nardi, they also own skydiver space center in titusville and skydive Jacksonville in Florida. I know Pat and Greg fairly well, I used to work for them doing Tandems, Although I don't have their current contact information, I am sure that they will not honor tickets 2 years old from the former owner. It sucks for you but I can understand why they wouldn't honor them after 2 years.
