What is the suit called? What do YOU think it should be called, I like Thunderbird, or Aurora, Tempest, feenix [that one wasnt my idea:-) Falcon is cool, from Norm Kents movie ah? and they have sex in a dive and have a deadline to finish:-) man we have too many names........I like the first one cos the suit's like a T to look at, good fun Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com -

2009 Elsinore event will be a 100-way... wait, what?
Tony-tonysuits replied to Costyn's topic in Wing Suit Flying
think it would be more fun for everyone if we do funjumps till lunch then just the 3 bigways till sunset, give everyone the chance to do personal jumps with all these furners, then get down to work in the PM also, just use the grid for debrefing, then show the world the best pix Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com -

Tony-tonysuits replied to Costyn's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Agreed, me too. I don't want to do 6 jumps a day for 5 days doing the same jump over and over again, knowing it won't build because we're flying with 100 people trying to do the same thing we couldn't achieve with 71 people. thats funny the 71 way I was on everyone got in on numerus occasions :-) Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com -

know what I think, if it cant be contended, then its official......is this govening official gonna say it wasnt the largest wingsuit formation?? Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com -
that is the first time Ive laughed on dz.com, brill yes, I think the zip's on the base of the wing are better, its the way we did it for the first 2 years and never had one break, too many get broke above the lateral, loose legs straps, bad measuring create a problem, with this system you can just pick a few stitches if the Q measurement [arm pit to lateral] is wrong, have fun Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com

oh and Im trying them [the base pouch's] made out of spandex....its what im used to skydiving, trouble is with it going across your butt like that when sitting in the plane your sitting on it, I'm not sure how the spandex will hold up to being sat on for reg skydiving.... I know he mailed back and forth with Tony regarding (re)location of the basepouch to a more suitable location. Maybe Tony has a few words on this subject? Registered: Apr 21, 2007 Posts: 333 Re: [KrisFlyZ] Raptor for base? [In reply to] Edit | Delete | Quote | Reply -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my knowledge, he is the only guy to have posted BASE video of a Tony suit. I think that suit was called an Apache. The tonysuits website does not list that suit as a product anymore. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- oh Ive never listed the Apache, Ive been working on it for these 2 years, I used it for the 71 ways in fact, I'm not a wingsuit baser so I'm not the expert here [one day, I have 2 BASE jumps] but it seems to me that being able to reach up to your toggles immediately and to get out of the legs in 2 seconds would make it an attractive suit for base, the wing size is a different matter of course. I have done some base pouch's, currently its a two pouch system with a bigger one over a smaller one, and it goes across the butt for an easier pull, slightly angling down. yes flocking can be a lot of work, sometimes it does seem like too much and its more fun to blast across the sky all alone, but that too soon gets old, then we go chase clouds or learn to do flips and grips with a partner, bottom line, is variety, a bit of this and a bit of that, that's the beauty of this sport, there is sooo much to go do, it just cant be done..........but we can try, Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com

my goodness what a strange comment to say an SM1 has no forward speed, its one of our fastest suits, Toby just scored a 3.1 to 1 glide ratio in a Euro comp, beating all the suits out there Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
