Wait..so is this the first time you've done this? A good deed.. today? shit. Gotcha focker. And...first time you've figured out that trick with FF? nope... just first time sharing it after seeing about 20 threads which someone didn't make cklicky and the next post was someone else making it clicky and me thinking, "why?" That's another beer. ;)

Apartment - Check. Still needs to be cleaned, reorganized, etc...I got the keys. And my poor roommate has no idea what she is in for. Job - sort of check. Been freelancing in-house and it's pretty much on-going until they either hire myself and another designer full-time (probably won't happen since they're very Scrooge-y about full time creative positions), until I decide to leave for another opportunity or until they kick me out. Either way, it's on-going right now, and while it's not the most glamorous work, I'm happy to have it. Stability - last three months I've been living on a relative's couch, commuting 2+ hours each day. Hopefully the two factors above will help with the stability. So, who is coming for a visit? I'm about 78 miles from The Ranch.

My favorite part was when he got his head blown off in Desperado.

Recover soon....sounds like you're on your way. But I bet going through metal detectors at airports would've been fun had those stayed in. ;)

That looks awesome!! I had a 95 4Runner with a 2 inch lift and 33 inch tires...I bought about 2 minutes after I found it on eBay because it was a manual! Love that beast...it was nicknamed The Stomper, like those 1980s RC cars that made lots of noise w/ their tires. I miss it...

My cars have always been manual, and the only time I drive auto is when I have to lease a car. Do ANY car rental places offer manual cars anymore?

A question for the people who have had a divorce.

Hey, I want one of those too. If I found an educated, emotionally stable, hot skydiving guy I might be inclined to start dating again. Hi there. -
This isn't that 'brain bleach' you were talking about, is it?

AAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhh Thank you, Honey. >How much brain bleach is it going to take to get that thought outta your head? I don't think there's enough bleach in the world to get THAT image out of someone's head. -

They exist? I want one too. I think I may have to cut my losses and just rent. Don't get hosed on the price. Make sure you negotiate. -

IMHO, that'd not being picky. That's knowing what you want. In the book (not the poorly done movie) The Count Of Monte Cristo, there's a great quote, and it goes like this. "...sometimes you need to experience the worst to realize how good things can be...' Same applies to relationships in a way. Sometimes you experience the worse, yes you still learn from it and realize what you truly want. So a bad experience made you more picky? Hell no. As the lovely Olympia said, it made you wiser, reluctant to seriously commit to a relationship, and a bit wary. Nothing wrong with that. -
Why do people get offended when someone checks them out?

Well let's face it. You're just not as good lookin as the rest of us are. Its the small price I pay for my other assets... That's like saying we have 10 billion tons of crude oil twenty miles below the surface. We know we have it, but who the hell wants to dig that deep? When the rest of the resources are found to be too Shallow, true depth will out. Touché. ;) -

Obviously it's more women getting offended or creeped out when guys are checking them out, but having worked in a bar for 5 years, I've some guys get weirded out when women are excessively ogling them also. The point is...the first perception is visual and physical, no matter how you cut it. Whether it's a smile at someone or a look, that's all we get at first. So why the hell do people get offended? As long as you're not acting like a complete weirdo (goes for both sexes), what's so difficult about smiling back at someone when you smile at them? All you're really saying is 'damn you're good looking and yes I noticed that.' -
Damn it!! Where were you about 4 hours ago with your frickin advice????

One hell of a dream last night. A few friends and I are traveling in London. We are walking around Westminster Abbey, and see that they are doing a rehearsal ceremony for Kate and William. For some reason they have a spot sectioned of where us commoners can watch. So of course we head over there. We are watching the rehearsal and see that the groom is nowhere to be found. All of a sudden a few security guards start heading towards my friends and I. I'm thinking what the hell did we so, are we going to be arrested, etc. Nope. I am asked to fill in at the altar!! Ok, what the hell...but it's a dream, so...I go to the altar. So they go though all the ceremony, I try to make small talk with her, shes laughing, and I'm strangely at ease. Then the priest gets to the 'do you...' parts, and the priest says my name instead of Prince William! But, I still go with flow...until I hear the 'you may now kiss the bride' part. I'm standing there laughing thinking it's over until I see her lean in for the kiss. Being the gentleman that I am and fully committed to my role, I lean in for the kiss as well.. AND I WAKE UP. WHAT THE F***? Now I'll NEVER know how she kisses

Congrats!!! So you are saying there is hope for me? ;)
