Thanks luv. Those are some beautiful bikes..and a beautiful lady too. I've been drooling over these two bikes. Both are on the opposite ends of the spectrum, but damn it, I'd love to have both in a garage some day. http://www.tabperformance.com/catalog/BlackSlashCut1.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5_ewoocjMX0/TQ9E1nTGxDI/AAAAAAAABhE/eFPV5uRE7ZY/s1600/0807_13_z%2525252B2009_ducati_monster_696%2525252Bwhite_side_view.jpg That Harely is just sex on wheels.

I think I've gotten to the point where I am tired of keeping a car in the city (NYC) and I'm thinking of selling at getting a bike. I'd like to hear responses from the following people. 1. Those who think that I am nuts to want to keep a car in the city that think I should sell the car and keep the money for a rainy day. 2. Those who think that I am nuts for wanting to trade my car for a bike in the city and either keep my car, or sell it and keep the money for a rainy day. 3. Those who think it's actually a GOOD idea seeing as parking will be a bit easier. 4. Those who think I'm nuts in general. BUT...in case you don't fit into any of the aforementioned categories, what do you think would be a good starter bike?

1st tandem - finally got the balls together in a little bag and decided to go with coworkers from the bar I worked at next morning after our shift. Well everyone overslept and I waited at the bar for about 30 minutes. Decided to go hope and not do it..last minute said "F*** IT" and went to jump. Was such an overload that I almost hit a car on the way back home. 2nd tandem - wanted to go again and see what it is like when I am not scared outta my mind. Still had no plans to get my license. Why I started AFF - I was teaching at a college level and we had this one little whiny 20 year old b**** of a spoiled student in our department. She was literally polluting the whole departmental atmosphere with all of her complaints, noone willing to hold her hand and let her get by with a shitty effort, etc. She took what everyone told her and complained to another person in the department saying she said she was told one thing when the reality was quite the opposite. Her mom called a number of times to complain how her poor daughter was 'mistreated' and wasn't being taught properly. When in reality she was lazy and didn't do shit...and was used to throwing temper tantrums and that would get her what she wanted. Not in my class. ANYWAYS...I was stressed beyond belief that semester and needed an outlet for it. Aside from throwing her out of my class that is. So one day, i go outside after dealing with her bullshit, took a few breaths of fresh air, look up and said..hmm, I wonder if getting my license and jumping on my own would be relaxing. Signed up for AFF classes a day or so later, and the rest was history.

Starting to do a bit of market research for a business idea, and im curious. What would you be willing to pay for custom skydiving accessories? I'm referring to items such as: - necklaces - shirts - custom made lettering for embroidery on rigs, jumpsuits, wingsuits, etc. - custom typography ( skydiving related terminology ) - other misc items Would love some input. Thanks y'all!!

This thread reminded me of this joke. My wife and I were watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire while we were in bed. I turned to her and said, "Do you want to make love?" "No," she answered. I then said, "Is that your final answer?" She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying "Yes." So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend." And that's how the fight started....

I'm in NYC now...nothing really interesting here.

Maybe you are.

Seriously...do people really KNOW what love is? How the hell do you know if you truly love someone? Why are you required to say 'i love you' to someone 2-3 months (or less) after you start dating them? When I see young kids saying ' I love you ' almost automatically to each other, it makes me wonder...are they even aware of what it means ?? Oh and the look of discomfort on the face of this teen when his gf said 'I love you' to him on the train today...it was priceless. Its a trap really... Regardless of who says it first, it always puts immense pressure on the other person. If they don't say it back, then the 'he/she didn't say it back...do they love me or not?' doubting begins. Thought on love?
