    well, i'm not a tv head so i won't spend a fortune, put it this way, i don't expect i'll wear it out with over viewing whatever i buy, i have seen some lcd screens that lok very 'misty' lacking in contrast which i am not sure if that is mostly to do with their setup or simply the nature of some lcds, this is what led me to think about plasma, i certainly don't mind the tv being a mini radiator, winter is on the way!
