Exactly.. Cable (Coaxial) can carry MUCH higher bandwidth than phone lines. Icon.. If you are only getting 1.5 out of Cable, either your Provider or your equipment completely sucks. also try Dr.TCP. First run a Tweak Test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks Then use http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp to make the changes. Run a speed test before and after. You should see a big difference.

Like Spence said.. What is a Boogie?? How do you determine what is just a Local Event and what is a Full Boogie? The calendar here has a list but is is FAR from complete as it takes people actually submitting and updating their events.

Have Comcast Cable Connection at Home. I get between 12 to 16 mbs Down whenever I run Speed test from DSL Reprts and about 1.5 Upstream. Cable is MUCH faster than DSL if you can get it.

I have never been married and I will most likely never will. I just can’t see the logic in signing a legal Document that basically translates to "If she ever gets mad at me she gets all my stuff plus I have to pay her till she finds another sucker to marry her"... And what do I get in return for signing that document?? Higher Taxes (Marriage Penalty), Less sex, More nagging and loss of individuality. Here in Georgia the Official statewide Policy in Divorce court is "Fuck the Male, No lube permitted" The only way I see Marriage as a good idea is when BOTH people want to have children. In that case it is great. I personally do not want any more Children, My one and only is almost paid off. Yes, there are some happily married people out there but in general they are the exception and not the rule. No thanks, I dont see the gamble worth the risk and probably never will.

They did something simular with Cassettes. There was a "Tax" paid on every Blank Cassette that was sold based on some formula that assumed that a certian percentage of blank cassettes would be used to copy music. The problem thay have now is that there is no way they can do that tax on Hard drives. Funny true story.. I am completely shocked by this. Beezy is someone that gave his entire adult life to this sport. Such a great guy that was loved by so many. I never would have believed that we would have trouble raising money for a memorial page for him. I know that everyone is just getting over Christmas and things are tight for a lot of us right now. I already sent $100 and now I am going to send another $100. That will still leave us $500 short. If there is anyone else that could send a Donation ($5, $10, $20.. Yes. I got to spend time with some great friends. Turtle and GoofyJumper came up to spend the Holiday at my house. Had many others DZ.comers drop in and out on christmas eve and christmas day.

I strongly disagree with that statement. I own an iPod 4gb Mini, Several Generic Flash Based MP3 Players (1 to 4 gb in size), a 5th gen 80gb Video iPod and the Creative Zen Vision M. I have tested them all throughly. The Zen is far superior in every aspect. Sound Quality is MUCH better on the Zen, Video is MUCH Better (Zen Display = 256K Colors, iPod=64K Colors), Battery Life is almost double for the Zen. Ease of Use is fantastic for the Zen. Zen comes with built-in FM tuner (No for the iPod), Zen has built in Voice Recorder (Not the iPod), Zen Plays most Common File types (Ipod does not. It only plays ACC and MP4 files (iTunes Converts MP3s and Mov files to these formats)), Zen will allow you to delete file directly from the devise (iPoid will not) Zen show up as Drive when you plug it in, drag and drop what you want. No iTunes headaches and hassles to deal with. If you Like iTunes, WMP 11 is almost identical and does everything iTunes does and more. Its Free and probably already installed on your computer if you have Windows XP. Zen will Play WMV9, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG4-SP including DivX 4 & 5, XviD, Motion-JPEG. IPod will only play MP4. There is not a single thing the iPod does that the Zen doesn’t do and do it better. Now on to the Negatives of the Zen: Still doesn’t have an easily replaceable battery (Neither does the iPod). Zen does not have anywhere near as many accessories. You will not find a Purse that is made to fit your Zen but you will find anything that you actually need. The Zen came with a 30pin to usb adapter that I did not like at all. For $12 on ebay, I bought a set of 3 different 30 Pin Cables that eliminated the adapter (AC Charges, Car Charger and USB Cable). I threw the adapter in the garbage. People that rave about the iPod generally have never tried any other MP3 Player. I still challenge anyone to point ut a single thing the iPod does that the Zen Vision M doesn’t do and do better. Apple has done an excellent job of Marketing an inferior product. Such a good job that people in general don’t even realize what they are missing and are content with what they have even though they have never tried anything else. I strongly believe the iPod Marketing campaign will go down in history as the greatest swindle since N.W Ayers created the "A Diamond is Forever" Campaign (Widely regarded as the most successful ad campaign in history also based completely on hype and molding of public perception). People will continue to say iPod is the Best because that is what they have heard.. But if you ask them why? They will only be able to say because everyone knows it. Long as the sheep keep lining up, Reverend Jobs will keep serving out the Kool-Aid! Now stand by for all the "well I Love my iPod anyway" responses.

I am playing with it right now. Just got it so I am still figuring it out. I did find a List of All Airfields/Airports in the US http://www.poi-factory.com/poifiles/us/air-fields I am working with the wuza File liked earlier to try to get it converted for the Garmin now. And Yes Billy, It is Points of interest. Basically on the GPS Pull up the list of whatever (Dropzones in this case) Pick the one you want, and it shows you exactly how to get tehre.
