I have been reading up on GPS`s a little. As for features, The Voice Navigation/Text to Speech seems to be VERY important for many people (The GPS Says the NAME of the Street that you are about to turn on instead of Just turn right 500 feet). The Garmin Nuvi`s seem to be the most popular by far. The 200 Series is the newest series (Newest Maps) 200 Is very basic 250 has a few more features and comes with Maps for Mexico and Canada too. 260 has Text to Speech. 270 has All North America Maps and Europe Maps too but no Text to Speech. There is no way just clicking on a JPG installed something to your PC unless you change your default security setting in windows. (Was this a Spyware program or just tracking cookies?) Also you could have had apps previously installed that left ports open for the attacker to get in. Keep your firewall on, Keep your antivirus updated, Run Adaware once a week and dont install any "Free" software untill you have verified that it is spyware free. I agree that it is frustrating and sucks that you have to be so careful. The Spyware writers should be caught and punished.

Most spyware is hidden in applications (Such as Free toolbars and other "Free" applications that people routinely download and install.) many time if people actually read license agreement that they just click OK to, It would even tell them they are about to install spyware on their PC (Not in those word, But will have something in there about information being collected). If you are going to install something on your PC (Especially something that is "Free" (First hint that it has Spyware, They have to pay the bills somehow)), Know what it is and read the License. Know what you are agreeing to. A quick search on the web can usually tell you if an application is known to be full of spyware or not too.

NO.. Not my point at all.. Read the thread again. People were blaming the Builder.. (Or operating system) For the crook (the spyware writer and YES, This is the real Problem) and the Idiot (User that leaves their system open and/or installs spyware filled applications on thier PC) causing this problem. The criminal is the one that writes the malware, Spyware, Virus or aother such crap. (Yes, They should be bitch slapped) But some people here want to blame Microsoft for that. Most spyware is actually INSTALLED by the user. I dont fault Microsoft at all for that.

You mean like Doors and windows?? I kind of expect them with a house. How about People that just left the Doors wide open and then want to blame the Builder when they get broke into?? Not the builders fault people are stupid. Same here, people download and install crap on their PC`s that are full of spyware. Not the OS`s fault. it is the users fault. I kinda like being able to open and close doors when I want, If I didn’t want that ability, I would have bought a mac. Leave your door unlocked (No Anti-Spyware, firewall, antivirus and/or poor downloading habits), Someone gets in (Spyware installed), Not the builders fault.

Most likely there will be others staying at the Hotel as well as. We should look into a designated Driver/car and/or see if there is a taxi service we can have on stand-by to get people safely back and forth to the hotel. Anyone that has a trailer that still has Couch and/or Floor space available, Please let me know. All the trailer slots I have (The RV, my NEW Trailer, the Van and the Pop-up) are Already Full for this weekend and I know of a couple people still looking for places to crash.

Not sure if this is being handled yet, But it would be great if someone with the Know How (And some artistic ability) would step up to help with Designing the Page for Parachutist, Patches and Stickers. If someone is already taking care of this, Please let me know.

There was $660 from Poker Players and an Anoumous Person broght the total to $1,000.

James (My Brother) had some trophies made up today for the tournament. These sound like GREAT trophies and very fitting. In honor of Lee who always Finished First (Either First out or First Place) we will have an engraved Donkeys Ass Trophy for First Out and a Golden Hand for First place. There will be no other Places paid.. The Trophies were engraved with "Lee Gerrard Memorial Poker Tournament." The entry fee for the tournament will be whatever you want can donate. All entry fees will go directly to Brandy.

We will be organizing a Fund at the Farm. Yes, Paypal has some fees if you use Credit cards (anyone would as Credit cards companies charge 3% or more). Palpal Balances and Paypal echecks do not have fees. Those that want to donate cash or checks, We can take them this weekend and will be added to the fund. People that want to make a donation to the memorial page can do so this weekend. Also we will having a few fundraisers to help Brandy as well. Lee did not have life insurance.
