Bruce she must have her dates mixed up - because they did NO testing of any DNA until 2007. They picked up Duane's DNA in March 27, 2003. Then the idiots accidentaly left what the agent called an invoice in the box when it was returned to me in 2007. Five yrs later. With the tests spread out like that - something must have come up in one of the earlier tests. NO DNA was tested until 2007 on any subject. They may have retrieved DNA from Petey in 2003 - but it would not have been tested until 2007. WHY? Because they had not yet extracted any DNA from any object - then of course they didn't know if they had Cooper's DNA. I was told in October of 2007 just before Carr went public that there were multiple particial DNA's found on the tie. A tie they cannot even prove belonged to Cooper. The BS goes on National TV and tells them I had known this since early 2007 - he knew that was a F------ lie. He told me on his way to do the interview with the media in late 2008. I did NOT know there was any map that specifically lays out the flight path. What I have seen is all over the place - Jerry has one, Sluggo has one and there have been 2 others. So give me one that shows the ACTUAL flight path per the radar and Northwest and whoever or whatever governs this stuff. Does one of those exist ? Did I miss something...if there actually a map put out by the FAA that shows the flight path? There was even rumors one crew member gave a different description - SO what is true? Has there ever been an exact layout of the flight path? How many flight paths have been projected and which one is the one the FAA presented and Northwest? Wish we had ALL of the witness accounts given in those few days after the crime. Might be an interesting way to track the actual fight pattern, but I assure the actual flight pattern is forthcoming in the near future. I had contacts back in 2001 when Margie Boule did some articles on Cooper/Weber. If I had known then what I know now - I could have utilized those to help track the plane. I tried to lay the few addresses I kept, over the route, but they were all over the place. There is one putting the 727 East of Ariel - on the Eastern Tip of Lake Merwin (this one would make Jerry happy). More than one accounting putting the plane over the Heisson area and then just East of the Scholls Airport in the Forth Plaines area...and multiple sightings West of Camas as it passed over the Columbia into the Oregon area where again the sightings placed the plane East of Portland. It was believe any sightings directly over Vancouver was another plane and NOT the highjacked plane. I just love it when I hear someone say - It passed right over us - BUT, I wasn't home that night or at work that night. There are many things I have not talked about because they didn't seem important. I presumed the FBI had already connected the sighting with the flight path. AT least until this forum started to discuss the flight path and now witness accounts. When I looked up Sauvie Island - that one is a stretch of the imagination. This means they were putting the plane right in the path of the PDX - that did NOT happen. Those who KNOW, know Cooper did NOT go over Vancouver. It may have "tipped" Orchards due to the reports of the sounds of a plane flying very low. Those who did not know about the hijacking heard the noise and went outside, because it sound like a plane in trouble. Most of the "sighting" did not claimed they could see the plane - but heard the plane. I live in an area between 2 airports and five bases. The larger planes on an over cast day with high moisture - sound lower (I don't know if they are lower or if it has something to do with how sound is carried in certain weather conditions). I personally have gone outside because of very loud sounding planes - and one I could actually see the rivets on the bottom of the plane - that one was scary. What is SCARIER is that I was told these are student pilots who have to let the plane - (I didn't understand this), but they said "STALL" and then pull it out. These are large transport planes for moving lots of materials. Now we are getting even more traffic because of another division coming in here...these new one will be fast NOISY planes. I do not keep up with the names of the planes and I choose to ignore the write-ups because all these planes make me nervous. The other Fl town I lived in had a training center for helicopters - one landing and take off area I could walk to from my house. One actually brushed one of the huge Oaks in my yard - I reported that incident. The person who took the call told me one student pilot had been disciplined more than one time for the same thing - that it would not happen again...it didn't - at least as long as I lived there. Okay - off topic - better than thinking about Social Security and telephones not working and neighbors growing weeds. I have lived with chest pains and headaches and arm pains and relying on a tranquilizer to calm me down..recently (yes, the Dr. ordered some tests today). At least I am conditioned to the reactions of the thread when I make a post and it takes my mind off of what is happening in this day to day world seniors live in. Thank You Snow. I had been to see 2 CPA's and have called the Elder Hot line and have a phone interview with an attorney on Weds. The waiver has already been in place since they told me about this DEBT. Now they are sending it to me to be signed (but the other SS employees told me they could do it over the phone - different employees and different answers. I have spent over 100 hrs on this and have made my self sick over it. I know more about my husbands business than I ever knew during our marriage. He was a very meticulous man and I have not found one mistake. What I have found is a mistake on the part of the SS. Since the total of this mistake is about the same amount - I am going on the assumption this is it until they inform me of what the overpayment is. If I am right I don't owe them a cent. Weber born in 1918, a shipyard foreman in Vancouver, WA at the time the was drafted - was sentenced to death by hanging in a court martial trial for refusing to bear arms. The trial was held in 1945 at Camp Roberts, CA and his sentence was eventually reduced first to 20 yr and later down to 5 yrs in Leavenworth. He had son Wayne Weber born in 1941 or 1942. This Weber was NO relation to Duane that we know of. Our government would like to keep these things like this buried forever and be done with it. Who knows, as secret as Duane's family was, - maybe it was a relative - but the genealogy shows no connection. Just a piece of trivia information found in our search ...FACTS ARE FACTS and I am currently a personal victim of our Government's aggressive actions to reform and redistribution of funds. They want about a 1/3 of my SS check - with NO explanation or proof of reason. Just send you a letter before they sent your check and tell you that you owe Thousands of dollar to them and you can request a waiver and explanation of proof - which take about 90 days, In the mean time seniors die of stress and or commit suicide. So much is going on right now - that I haven't been able to post. I will assure you even if I don't make it to see the truth told - it WILL be told and it WILL be made public. The secrets will be made PUBLIC - NO one wants or cares how our government functioned in the 40's or the innocent men whose lives they destroyed. The CO's and their families where outcasts - just as anyone with a Bad Conduct Discharge. If they ended up in certain courts for even minor offenses they received SERIOUS sentences - that a decorated veteran would not receive. A man who was a CO and refused to bear arms - (he had a wife and a child) was sentenced to Life in Prison for refusing to bear arms...AND SENT to McNeil. No, it wasn't Duane, but he was a Weber, but no relation to Duane we are aware of. I am simply pointing out to those of you who do not know the history of this country and what happened in the 40's in this place we call America. This is the Same Government that sends Senior letters stating they owe 10's of 1000's of dollars in over paid Social Security and offer NO explanation. When you call them - the IRS and SS - you get 30 different people with 30 different stories. These stressed seniors are required to wait for an explanation of over-payment for 45 - 90 days. In the mean time some of them are so stressed they commit suicide or die of heart attacks - I CALL THIS THE KILLING FIELDs OF AMERICA.... There should be a law against this tactic...The explanation of overpayment should accompany the notice and better yet - these seniors (or their representative) should just simply be asked to report to the office within 90 days by appointment for a mandatory reiview of their benefits. Then and only then should the SS receipient be told about any problem and the SS should have a written report available at that time to validate their "supposed" over payments. The receipient then would have 90 days to make a response. As it stands at this time they just send you a form letter telling you your check will be cut or you can come and talk to them about a payment plan. How many seniors have died or committed suicide because of one of these letters? Needless to say - the government didn't need to give me one more thing to fight them about - it is time for AMERICANS to stand up to this government. It is time for the GOVERNMENT of AMERICA to take responsibility for its actions. I mean past actions and current dictatorship tactics. The government needs to make this SS issue FRONT PAGE...and make sure NO more SENIORS receive these threatening notices. One man killed his wife and then himself after one of these notices. How many others have died of heart attacks? A widow or a couple on a fixed income - bearly making it is told they want 1/3 of their benefits for the next yr...that they have over paid her by that much. Seniors are just pawns to be manipulated by this new White House. This is just a quieter and more acceptable alternative to the Nazi GAS CHAMBERS...only Seniors are the targets and not the Jews. Is this how Obama intends to pay for the bail-outs? Remember that on the return trip from Seattle after 3 stops on the Columbia in WA, we crossed over into Portland. He takes me to an area near the airport - a row of concrete low buildings - like storage areas and mentions something about a car being left there (the FBI even admits to a car being left there and said it was a legitimate drop by a business man, but they NEVER identified that businessman!) Then he proceeds on the road near the river - I still do not know the name of that road or highway. He points out an area and mentions that it is mostly industrial and then he talks about an Island in the river ( I still don't know what island he was referring to). This island he had been on, as that was the indications I got. After that point he points out a overpass across the river (what I now know to be the Marina between Camas and Washougal. He stated that because of the tressel I could not see the marina but it was behind it. This is when he told the story about the boat being stolen from the Marina and then let loose across from the Portland airport. Since I don't know which came first - the chicken or the egg. He mentions the Airport right in the middle of all of this and we did turn around not to far from this area, but not until we reached the point he mentions the powerlines and pipelines that crossed the river. The only town he mentioned during this time was Gresham. For some reason I remember an airstrip on my right, but the map shows Troutdale airport being on my left (when he pointed out the Troutdale airport I really couldn't see what I called an airport) - but maybe we had already turned around...but that is just not how I remembered it. Perhaps I need to remember that the Milton, Fl, airport is just one building it is called an airport. When I think in those terms it helps. So I have a question if we are heading East and the Troutdale airport is on my left amongest all of the industrial building along the river - why do I have a memory of a strip on my right which would be south of the road - He was pointing out flags which I was looking for, but couldn't see. He made some kind of remark about this strip - but my memory is limited to what I have stated. It was 31 yrs ago. We may already have turned around, but I swear that is NOT how I remember it. I know that over the yrs I have lost some of the sequences of the things he showed me - but this is what I remember and NOT necessarily in that order. It is important to me to mention that we DID not go all the way back to Portland before heading South - so maybe that is where Gresham enters the memory. This strip stays in my memory because of a remark he made - but I cannot remember what he said - and yes, I have heard some of the mentions of the plane coming over the Troutdale airport - but the plane was WEST of the Troutdale airport. With a 727 what difference does it make over it or West of it? Duane never looked at a map the whole time we were there and the only map we had was an Atlas of all the states and one showing the western half of the USA. It was an old Osha dated back to the 70's and I left it accidentally in CA when I was there in 2004 for my husbands proton radiation treatments for his cancer. We did have a Seattle map the company gave to us - for our free days...but he never opened it - I did - which was when I told him his trip to the back side of the airport was NO short-cut! If it was too overcast for Cooper to SEE the lights and land markers - HOW the blankety blank did a witness see the fire out of the end of the plane? ===================== Then why has everyone contended Cooper could NOT see lighted land marks? The flight of that plane is exactly as I have contended it was yrs ago - and was verified by phone today - this man knows what he was talking about. It has always been stated the plane flew not too far from an old airport North of the old 500. The plane made its curve to the West below Battlefield and the Brush Prairie area with South Easterly bearings passing not too far from what was then called the Scholls Airport still bearing South East to stay out of the populated areas and within search and rescue perimeters crossing the Columbia with approximates at McGuire Island keeping Troutdale airport to the East of the plane. Just read Cooks letter to Himmelsbach - what's wrong with his letter? Himmelsbach was never difficult to communicate, but he does know how to sift out certain types of individuals. I do not have the communication skills of Cook but I do have enough common sense to have informed you guys about the how fragments sifted down thru the dirt as it was handled. Remember my story about the gold flakes upon the top of the sand and building sand castles on the beach - same principal and nothing mysterious about it. The flare is simple and one I mention a long time ago to Cook and to Himmelsbach - that Cooper might have utilized the flares to test the drift and the other thing which I guess he found unnecessary to mention was to let another party on the ground know he was getting ready to jump......Ahhhh so WHO was on the ground. Definitely NOT Cooper...at least at that point. Maybe Cook is drinklng his own Hawaian punch with Glacier Ice. Understand that stuff can really mess up your thinking. There are other things and and now the FBI says - "you have to put him on the plane". What do they expect of me - WHAT do they expect of me! This is not right! I can't go on - I can't do this by myself anymore. I also know how Duane knew the area so well (new info) - OR, WA, ID - now I know - proving it is another thing. I can't fight the government anymore - I am too tired - too exhausted and too old. The last 24 hours has been exhausting. The SS wants 1/3 of my SS check and I have spent the last 2 wks 12 hrs a day fighting them - NO answers - this government - the FBI, the SS and the IRS - they just want to kill us old people off with their letters - the stess alone is enough to cause us to have heart attacks and strokes. I am on the forum tonight because I needed to get away from arguing with the SS and IRS. Then they sent another letter wanting more money. I have checked the tax reports except for one yr. and a CPA has looked at them - now I have to wait 45 to 60 day for the SS to NOT send another letter - which never comes. Explanation of income. There was only one yr out of the last yr I do not understand and it is 3 large manila envelopes - Capital gains and losses the yr he didn't have medicare and he had private insurance and they refused to pay for much of the cancer treatement. Was actually able to read the posts and see the pictures. I found Cooks post this (Jan 28, 2010) evening very forthright. This was about my being the one who claimed the money was put into the river in 1979 prior to it being found in Feb of 1980. In 1996 when I told the FBI about all of this - I had NO idea how long they thought the money had been in the Columbia...and no mention of this fact was ever stated publically by the FBI when I contacted them in 1996. I appreciate Cook stating that I insisted the money went into the Columbia in 1979 and that the FBI agreed with that. I do take comfort in this even though you guys think I have lost it. If someone - anyone could find the relatives of Leo Harder, Carl Unruh and Fleckinger - and more about La Camino and Snowline - this would help me to put this behind me. I know what Duane told me and showed me...and I know what the sister and brother of Duane told me about his being sent to a special camp to help straighten him out. I have told the FBI this for yrs and then when Snowmman posted it in the forum - I went back to it again and again and again. I was first told about the camp in 1998 by a friend of mine - he died in 2006. His wife remembers his assisting me on this as I remained friends with the two of them even after I remarried and moved. This friend found it because of my relating a story Duane told me in Tahoe. When Duane and I left Portland we went to Tahoe and he pointed up a road into the hills (I NOW know these were mountains) and told me he used to live up there and mentioned an address with a number in it - Like Eighteen mile road or Seventeen Mile Road as a place "we" used to live. I just assumed it was with a prior wife - and assumed Edna since it would have been in Ca. around the time a child would have been born named of Zona. I was told that Edna had lots of brothers and they were - I do not remember other than I got the impression of Mormon or Mennoite. Now I know that was a CPS camp and that is where CO's stayed. Please someone help me find these answers - don't let me die without knowing the truth. I need to know the truth..while I am still here and no one can twist what I have tried for yrs to tell. Naahhh. Snow posts "too much" here to have enough time left to write TV scripts You -yeaaa maybe! Could be. I am thinking a couple who only piped in a half dozen times or so. I know one of those guys, I thought was Galen Cook and another I am pretty sure was Grey. Neither stayed long before they lauched their own efforts and gleaned whatever they needed regarding the jumping expertise and lingo needed to author books. Frankly I think someone who has offered to help me might be one of the Scotts...I won't say who, but I feel sure he is a jumper and/or he plays a good game of pretending... or he feeds these two writers...with stories from the forum. Using the BuDop connection was a dead give-away. Sure wish they would ID themselves to me. First, I would give them Hell and then ask for their assistance to find someone to write "Weber's story" or what some call "Jo's Lies". Whoever they are they are too busy being pirates to be trusted. I have reached the point in time I do want someone to put what I have to say in words that have an orderly sequence and not my haphazard ramblings. I would never live to see it published and if it was NO one would buy it. Regarding that book "Ha Ha Ha" I never found out who the real author was - but there were somethings in that book - only I knew about Weber. I have not discussed this because you guys would just say he read the book, but there were a few things in that book, I thought only I knew about Duane Weber. They were stories he told me prior to the publishing of this book in 1983. The stories were not even related to Cooper, but something's he could tell me about himself..without revealing any connection to Cooper. I tried with all of my might to find the author of this book. I know the Editor was Judi Van Cleave (a name I had heard before). The first printing was by the Daily Journal of commerce, Portland, Oregon - Signum Books Ltd. The company later became Journal Graphics and the name Gary Twituerd was provided. I was never able to trace the books writer. I always wanted to know where he picked up some of the little stories he had in that book - more than a couple of them rang a bell - things told to me unrelated to Cooper from 1978 - 1982. They were just sweet happen chance correlations between the character and Weber - but it was enough for me to make me wonder - What If! Good Grief! The phrase has been around for a long long time - but those darn writers Scott and Scott who did the Number's segment "Old Soldier" have used this thread for other things they write for. Tonight - on the First of the Final episodes of Lost - again - In Plain Site was used. (I didn't catch the name of the writers). It was also used in a couple of other stories this past yr, but I didn't note which ones. These writers Scott and Scott write for other series - usually on CBS. These guys must read this thread and maybe one of them is a jumper. He reads this site and picks up things to use such as BuDop (that one stretched the imagination since the only place Cooper and BuDop have been in one sentence was in this thread). These guys write for lots of CBS programs - such as NCIS and CSI programs...they used our wording or my wording regarding the DNA. Well, there are only so many words and so many ways to describe things. All created and true stories are a conglomeration of words. I just feel writers HiJacking ideas from a thread on a forum is stooping a little to far (sounds hungery).. DuBop or BuDop (however it is spelled) and a Cooper suspect was pretty hard to swallow. Just remember this guys - we discussed it here long before they had it in a script. I guess the writer thinks none of us have time to watch TV. Watch for those writers - I think it is Riddley Scott and Tony Scott during the credits if you hear things on a program that seems unique...to this thread. Not that it really matters other than I would like to know if they are jumpers and what their interest in this thread is - other than one of them is a jumper. Life and the things we do and say are all learned - or a group of words to describe a happening or to express our selves. Jo, No US mass sport jumps were made from 727s until long after Norjack. The first I know of were in the 1990s at Quincy Illinois, at the WFFC event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyNwr_Cb--I 377 I believe Sluggo's informer said he showed this group how to open the aft stairs - but it may only have been a 727 or similar plane - that is what I was wondering earlier. I believe he may have been referrring to the plane the crew came into the area on and not the craft they jumped out of. I only briefly read Sluggo's paste of this man's emails. I have been well aware of this for YEARS - NOTHING new. I discussed Marana - with the FBI prior to 2000. What I didn't know until this forum was that "In Plane Site" was connected to it - which is what Duane always said. Both he and his ex - mentioned it to me. She put them in a town not far from there for several months and told me how much she hated the area. I really didn't know much about this Marana - until it was discussed in this forum. I knew of it - and do not know why they were in the area. From 1962 - 1966 - they were to and fro. In 1968 they had her kids, but were in the N.O. and AL area in 1968/1969. He was "traveling", so not home much. 377 - where the hell do you think they did the modification of the 727's rumored used in Nam and in that video we watched. Was it gutted and made into a cargo dropper in that facility in the 60's? There was a conversation between Duane and a man - about this - I have tired my best to remember when and who and where - it is just one of those phantom memories that bugs you once in awhile and makes you think you could really be Crazy. The fact that the plane was NOT old seemed to stick out in my mind - like it behooved them to gut an almost new plane. I never did ask what they were talking about and I do NOT know if it was a 727 that was gutted. Since Duane had only a hand full of friends (people he and I would be around as a couple) - I know it had to be one of about 5 men. It seems lke this dicussion took place with a man by the name of Harry or Harrison (one of those whose name never stuck with me). Too tired to pull this, but if my memory serves me correctly yes Evergreen was operating out of Marana - what they were using I wouldn't know. I believe it was Air America - that had two 727's there.
