Georger - at that time I was SO MAD at Ckret (Carr) I couldn't see straight. Other posters didn't pay attention either because they kept on talking about how to tie the bag off. I do not understand why Himmelsbach ignored my description of the satchel - early on...because I knew where I had donated it and in a small town I might have been able to retrieved it. There was the other bag I saw in the console (it was a flat bag and very clean) - this would have been the bag the bank put the money in and then into the satchel...to satisfy Cooper's demands the best they could with what they had. Attaching a satchel like the one Duane had would have been a piece of cake - even this dumb broad could have done that. I now understand Duane's expression "hide it in Plane site". Now I understand so much I did not grasp-----before. It all started in 1958. Now I know about the guy Duane introduced me to and where they both had worked and how they knew each other. Now I know how he was so knowledgeable of ALL those things he told me about. He got involved soon after he got out of SanQuentin and Folsum - not immediately because he went to stay with his mother who was on the kidney machine...that was 1957. Duane was familiar with planes and he knew how to jump. The FBI has known this for yrs...yet, they ignored it because of the connections - our own government has TOO many secrets...about time they did what other countries have done. They have destroyed most records of their own involvement in the dirty "things", but you can't destroy it all. What should have been a clue to this? When the ex told me about their running from the FEDs even AFTER he got out of Jefferson in 1968 - that was a real puzzle and I thought it was just the alcohol and her age - that she was mixing things up....now it makes sense. There is a difference between FEDs and FBI. Remember our searching for Duane's employers that she told about - the one that concerned planes... The guy with the cancer I met in 1980 who had been a chauffer in the past for Howard Hughes, The friend Ed who was a helicopter pilot and a mechanic. All of the loose end are coming together for me and there are others like myself who want to see all of this come to an end. Theoretically: If someone held proof of who Cooper was - proof that would put a specific individual on that plane - WHAT would it be worth? I am going to say this only ONE time - the money came on to the 727 in a canvas and leather satchel NOT a bag. The Source is 100% reliable. In the event anyone is hard of HEARING: I will say this louder: [RED]THE MONEY WENT ON TO THE 727 IN A SATCHEL - of canvas and leather.[/RED] THIS IS A FACT! My Theory: Cooper had requested a Knapsack - so they substituted a BANK BAG with a handle called a satchel. A plain money bag was what they put the money in from the vault and then it was put into the satchel before being delivered to Cooper - probably because no one was able to acquire a Knapsack at that time. To have delivered the money in a simple sack could have caused Cooper to act irrationally - the FBI did not want that. In 1996 I told Himmesbach about a satchel that Duane had - but, I was ignored...and that satchel was described to me on this day Jan 11, 2010. You people have NO IDEA what is happening. Notice that Georger, nor I, nor Sluggo, nor Safecrack and others who are vested in this investigation are currently posting. If you want to be useful look-up bank satchels and take a good look at them - Cooper had NO problem attaching this to his body or the harness. Yes, he opened the satchel - to make sure the money was there and he may have placed some of the money in a separate place at that time...just encase he was separated from his package. The Motives of a skyjacker: After reading a book that provides details and the psychological analysis of several Skyjackers, one has the tendency to examine their own subject and to compare him with other subjects regarding the 1971 incident. Profile of a skyjacker: 1. In late 1970 or 1971 he was diagnosed with a hereditary kidney disease - a disease for which there was no cure and most patients inevitably spent the rest of their life on a machine. At the time of his diagnosis they had not learned that certain varieties of this disease move in stages - often with many good yrs before the final stage requiring dialysis. 2. He has spent most of his adult life in prison since he was 20 yrs old...4 yrs then 18 mths, then 4 yrs (as John Collins) and he had only been out of the last prison less than 3 yrs. He was 46 yrs old and he had spent 17 yrs in 6 different prisons since he was 20. Only about 9 of those yrs had been spent as a free man. What time he was out of prison he was "on the run". Never learned a trade he could make a living at. When he wasn't in prison the law was looking for him. 3. Now he was facing what he thought was the end of his life. He had no insurance and no medical care. He had NO where to turn and he couldn't support his wife and step children. He liked having a good time and women and booze - he had been making up for the time behind the wall. 4. His yrs in prison - these guys always talked about doing the "Big one". Many of these conversations during the 60's centered around the Vietnam war and the skyjacking. Several skyjackers where incarcerated in the general population of prisons through out the US. (20 such prisoners within the system in the USA were interviewed for a book and was a fraction of the ones incarcerated within the penal system in the states.) 5. He faced living off of welfare in squalor - even then Medicaid (if we had Medicaid in 1971)might not pay for diaylsis. This is NOT how he wanted to die. He was depressed - he didn't know where to turn or how to do it. 6. He worked out swimming daily in all kinds of weather - he started to watch what he ate. When he was singing the world sang with him and he could charm the panties off the women, but he never felt like the man he should be - he felt lacking and felt he was inadequate. He settled for women like himself - low self esteem, heavy drinkers and if they had any money when they awoke the next morning they found themselves relieved of their cash and jewelry. 7. He was trying to change, but now he felt cheated by life and the disease - that he would never make it out of the hole he was in. His family had disowned him - he had NO one to turn to.He didn't want to die a slow agonizing death on a machine living in squalor. 8. The news was full of Skyjacking attempts. He started to make his plan. It had to be someplace he was familiar with and that is why he chose the N.W. He didn't believe he would succeed, but he had no reason to exist. 9. He was "ascared" and figured he would be caught in the attempt. It made little difference he was alone - and he never seemed to make it outside of the prison walls for very long - constantly running from the law. He couldn't do that any more. At least in prison he would have access to medical treatment. 10. If he was killed in the attempt - that was okay also, because no one would remember him - after all his family had washed their hands of him - he had been an outcast since he was 18 yrs old. The skyjacking was a means to the end of his life. Be it dead or in prison...right now prison didn't look so bad. 11. His life was a failure - nothing he ever did was right for very long...he indicated to the stewardess he had a grudge. He had several grudges. He worked hard - but, he always slipped right back into his old ways or his past would catch up with him then he would loose his job. He was tired of trying - he wanted to give up on life, because he didn't have a life. 12. When the money was ACTUALLY delivered to the plane - he was in awe. Yes, he was like a child because he never expected to get that far. He really felt they would have taken him prior to or at the time the money was delivered. I believe it was when he was waiting for the money that he started to break down - this was taking longer than he expected - he didn't want to suffer - he just wanted it to end quickly. 13. Holding the money in his hands - more money than he ever expected to see in a life time - his excitement level was peaking. Had to get the Damn Show ON THE ROAD. Now his adrenalin was running high. Not much was said to anyone after this time - suddenly it was all about survival. 14. He had prepared for survival bringing a few things he would need - such as strapping and hardware in the event he needed them. When he went out that aft stair he knew he was going to die. He held on for a few moments because he knew he was going to die - that to let go meant the end of his life. He almost didn't jump...but it was too late. He started to count Mississippi one. Mississippi two as he had been taught. This is how I envision the man I knew doing this - this is what I think he had going thru his mind. I know what he used to be and I know how he thought when he was down - I also know how he worked his way thru things...and his regrets and dreams. Another thing I know - his survival was NOT a waste - the time Tina spoke with him when he was the lowest he had ever been in his life - it made an impression and one he felt he had to honor. Only in the throes of death do some individuals learn the ways of goodness...and usually on their death bed and suffering thru a long illness. Whatever Tina said to the Skyjacker - he never forgot it and when he was actually was on his deathbed many yrs later - he remembered the things she told him...and the book from which she quoted them to him. He took that book with him or he went out and bought one just like it...it became the principals by which he lived - how he tried to live his life. He didn't get it ALL right all of the time, but he tried. One cannot rule out that Cooper may have been a recruited to bring about reform within our system and aviation changes. Hubbard's own book hints between the lines on page 176 how Congress gave indiviudals NO choice - forcing them to lie to the public and their superiors and themselves. Perhaps one of them couldn't live with it. It stands to reason if anyone of them had the money to commission this book - maybe he would have commissioned other things. Per my own perspective if this was a deed recruited - the money came out Texas...and may be why Weber was chosen. I found it profound that the writer of the book (Hubbard and the suspect Weber) had an extraordinary connection in Texas that was connected to Kennedy. The individual who sent me the book was unaware of this connection and so was I until just a moment ago...when looking back to verify the commissioning of the book - and TEXAS popped up again...I bet I know who the anonymous grant came from.

I was the very first person to claim that the money was protected and not in the water or on the bar for more than 1 yr. The paper bag incident happened in 1979 and it has been part of my story since I contacted the FBI in 1996. Cossey according to others has stated he prepared the chute for himself - I could never find out if Cossey was left handed. NO one ever addressed this to my satisfaction. Snowman - PLEASE chill the garbage. To you this is just fun and GAMES. To others it is a matter of the truth and to ACTUALLY solve this case. I am sure everyone here who reads this forum will agree with that. I realize that you DO not understand the advancements that have been made in this forum to the understanding of Why Cooper did what he did and the fundamental issues behind that. In the late 1960's the government had been asked to do something to curb the hijackings by FAA. A Presidential Task force then assigned a group to do this, but their findings where ignored by the government (USA). The profile developed for a skyjumper was ignored and the problem was not addressed by the government. When this happened the group informed the Government that ignoring the problem would only encourage and increase the number of risk takers creating a risk to the airlines and the public. These government employees chose not to commit political suicide when Congress refused to listen to their findings. The following statement was made by an individual who help to bring these things to the forefront of the public, but his reach did not extend far enough. He nor others could stand up to our own government. "Only a self-supporting person can safely 'stand-up' to speak the facts. (The accuracy of that statement may well be tested in the coming months by what happens to my federal consultancies)." The study that this enerprising psychiatrist did was financed by a grant from an anonymous person...in approx 1969 and his finding where published 1971 in a book called. THE SKYJACKER His Flights of Fantasy Within the next few months, Cooper made his infamous jump which changed the course of the Government and actions finally where put in place to curtail the Hijackings. I would therefore interject we may never know who Cooper was, but we might know WHY he will never be indentified. In the beginning there was speculation our own government was behind Cooper - but, NO one had enough information to pursue this. After 38 yrs - perhaps it is time to revisit that particular interest - because outside of a Government Cover-up - why hasn't this crime been solved? You know you can change the setting on how the pages appear on your computer - it is all in the settings. Different settings will result in different page numbers.

The co-incidences keep adding up - today I DID place a call to the FBI, but I am sure I will never get a reply from them. Once specific information is confirmed (we are working on several things) - if the FBI does NOT re-open the investigation of Duane L. Weber being Dan Cooper - then something is very wrong with the FBI. Again I cannot tell you what this is - but it is very significant and NO I am not paying anyone to assist me. Sometimes certain searches have a cost to obtain, but I have never been asked to pay for these services...there are people out there who believe me or/and they want to help...me to prove or disprove Duane was Cooper. They want to be part of the answer and the solution - regardless of what it is. This is ALL I have ever asked of anyone. I understand that all feel put off, but if I revealed everything that is found and have a forum attack and destroy it before we have actually written documents susporting them - is NOT a very good idea. Remember there are writers out there who loft in this forum just for ideas to use in their own scripts - most of which are unrelated to Cooper...the most significant in your face kind was the NUMBERS segment using BuDop involvement. I have had 2 wonderful days and I feel great, but anxious as I wait for the verification of what I feel will put Duane on that plane and in a chute. Perhaps I am wrong - I have been wrong before. Couple 2 things we have been working on with another co-incidence is just uncanny and something the FBI can NO longer ignore. Since I don't know how to keep my mouth shut - and pre-maturely let out unconfirmed (or hints of) information I need to stay out of this forum for a few days. Should all of this information be of value and vindicate me - I would like to meet almost all of you at a later date, with the exception of Jerry. His actions have been exceptionally cruel and deliberately demeaning and no one should be treated in that manner. Under NO circumstances would any apology from him be acceptable.

Finally everything seems back on target. WHEW! Leaving all of the plane technical and jump aspects of the crime to you guys. That was why I came to DZ in the first place - because this was knowledge that everyone needed to be aware of including me even though I understand only 50% of it. As for a TV or radio program - forget it, 377. I don't need any of that. In the mean time I will just do what I have always done, which is trudge forward out of the media frenzie. I will leave that to Gook and Grey and others. Really hate to ask a question, as I do not want to say something that will cause you guys to loose focus. This is Cooper related, but off of the subject you are absorbed in at this time. I am working the human end of Cooper - because all I really know is what a suspect has told me and items that might be related to the 1971 skyjacking. Does anyone anyone know what the heritage of Tina Mucklow was? I have searched, but my research abilities are also limited One item I have mentioned has an orientation - and before I start to make available anymore information - I need to know about Tina's heritage. She was a Mucklow, but the mother would have had another last name - prior to the marriage that produced Tina. My reasons for knowing this is NOT to find Tina (I know how to do that), but chose not to intrude into her life. I still have this gut feeling I have had since first becoming involved in this - that I hold clues to Duane being on that Plane. I keep going back to this little book (Since I mentioned the size of the book eons ago - I presume that is how Nigel knew it was the size of a diary). The book is unique after retriving it and looking at is in more detail and actually reading it. The heritage in this book is not that of Duane Weber - with a German ancestory - which enforces my feeling this book is more than just something he treasured from his background. In 1972 Tina (Teena) was 22, but in 1961 SHE was about 9 yrs of age. Was Tina's given name Christina? What was the maiden name of her mother...? I really prefer that if anyone is capable of answering the question they provide it in a PM to protect the privacy of Tina's family. Was there an artist of sorts in her family by the name of Gertrude who was instrumental in publishing this little book? So Many Questions and So Little Time. Exactly. As far as Sluggo reported, the FBI never contacted Braden. It's an example of how silly it is to listen to Jo's comments on what the FBI did or didn't do. Or Orange1's about what the FBI did or didn't do. The right answer: no one has a clue what the FBI did. Best to assume they just jerked off. I use Braden as an example, because Waugh thought he was worth investigating. If you're going to say Waugh's opinion is worth less than whoever's opinion it was that caused the FBI to interview that other SOG guy (forgot his name)...well I guess there's a difference of opinion. Snow -this is ridiculous! No one knows the facts anymore. Please explain to the this forum and everyone how anyone person here has had access to interviews done by the FBI. Can any of you explain that statement? You have to be FBI to have access to these files - I can't even get information on my own husband who is deceased - SO how did anyone read the file on Braden's interview? When it comes to claiming to have read FBI files of interviews and investigations done by the FBI regarding a suspect in any case by a member of this thread - I question HOW this can be! FIOA files? Surely if there is a copy of an interview with Braden, then Duane's files should also be public - but they aren't - not even to his wife. I try to give straight answers, but I refuse to provide somethings I have not been able to verify...which I and others have worked hard to acquire. I have refused to show the front of the book or the title because I want it to be described and identified by the individual it belongs to...this is a reason thing. 1. Tina did not give Cooper a "notebook/diary" - but there does exist a book which resembles a diary or notebook only in size and appearance, acquired by Weber which I believe belonged to Tina - with the NOTED writings and drawings I have quoted in this forum. There is a picture of a little girl in it who resembles Tina. See the attachements. There is a piece of notebook paper inside with information written on it (not related to Cooper or the flight). 2. I have this book - locked away in a safe place and not under my name. I have told the FBI about this book - they were NOT interested and never asked to know any information about it. Do you really believe the FBI would let it's rookie agent have access to all - that would create a security glich. 3. This book along with lots of things was discussed with the FBI. They took only the old resume in 1997. In 2003 they collected some DNA after things had been used by others and cleaned and much of what I had - was given away or taken to Goodwill. 4. I made sure they can't make this go "poof"..... they have been aware of it for a few yrs. Just never thought I would realize what I might have...even I am not sure of what I have, but it DOES exist... 5. It was this thread that made the connection between the little girl and Tina - NOT me. It origin and reason has always puzzled me and I believe it is connected because it came to be in 1990 when all of the other things came into the house and in his possession...after his mysterious 48 hr disappearance from Tallahasee at that time. The one in which an airline ticket was charged to my acct. He claimed he didn't make it and I argued for 9 months with the credit card company - finally he said - "Its' not that much just pay it". I will still never understand how a man who had spent all of those yrs in 6 different prisons could be the man I knew - but, he was. Jo clarifies: Ask anyone who knew him. "Giving the shirt off his back" is an old expression for kind deeds. You will find many testimonies - regarding the kindness given to others during the yrs I knew him. Whatever he may have been - he tried to make up for the grief and problems that he had created for others - even those he created for me...during those final yrs. ------------------------------------- Jo Restates: The next day when I got to the hospital they said he had been asking for me. The afternoon before he was shouting about "Let's go Jo - lets get this Show on down the road, Jo" I don't remember his exact words - I am sure I have written them down before. That night they put a patch on him that night - told me to go home because I had been at the hospital night and day for wks. going home only to shower and change. When I returned to the hospital they said he had been asking for me. His last words: "Take the Baby downstairs" "Bring the Baby upstairs" "I can't go till the Baby gets here". "I love you." I just realized he must have had this discussion with Tina on that plane. He was talking about the rebirth as Tina had prayed for his soul and his rebirth - It was part of her pray for him and praying for his soul - because he himself felt he would die that night...and he was "ascared". She assured him he would be reborn - as he had confessed his sins to her...that is what he was talking about. Right now this is the first time those words ever made sense. I never understood what he was talking about. Maybe this is how it is supposed to end. Jo Clarifies: This was written because maybe some of you should know it - not one word of it was composed or thought out - it was my putting the words on paper what I am remembering and feeling at this time. As all of you know a young man came to see me in mid December and noted many things I had not considered important. It was his visit and my subsequent review of that 'book" with picture of the little girl - when I found "My name is Tina. (pronounced Teena) "I hope you will find my Tina Tips helpful." The book has this on the very first page with a picture of butterfly. "LOOK FOR THE GOOD WHEREVER YOUR ARE" As you travel along life's way, Make someone happy wherever you are So at evening when you pray, You can feel the day well spent Because of your smile and cheer, And May God help you this 'motto' to live Through many and many a year. Why was this book and that picture SO significant. If you don't know now - You will Never Know! Does anyone know anything about Tina's background prior to 1971? I expect not. Why did she tell me "Cooper was a very Sad Man". Can any of you imagine what was going thur this child's mind when she was sitting there with Cooper - terrified this could possibly be her LAST moments on this earth? How did this child of 22 survive emotionally and why did she then devote her life to the GOD that delivered her safely? Connecting dots - maybe? Did we have any previous posts about this club?? Did the FBI talk to them?? Per conversations I had with retired FBI - this group was one of the first they looked at and interviewed. It was never posted Jo. The exchanges were all by PM and email. It really is a good test of how good a searcher someone is. I am betting Georger will find the guy with all the hints he has been given. He is an intriguing suspect even though he probably isnt Cooper. He fits all the qualifications but nothing links him to the crime, except perhaps a passage from a book he wrote, but it is probably just a coincidence. 377 If this is reference to a group of Jumpers - connected to Boeing. I don't remember much of the story - but I have seen pictures of their first - meeting place (whatever you call it). These guys were all named and checked out and I do not know if I kept anything on it or not. Probably not. It was one of the FIRST places the FBI looked - now after all these yrs maybe it bears looking at again since one of the group is still alive. Seems like I communicated with someone from this group on the recommendation of retired FBI, This was over 12 yrs ago. Wasn't it called the Boeing Flying Club? Really working from my memory and that is getting a little iffy lately. Left the forum to look in the file, but didn't find what I was looking for - so hit a few keys on the old computer. In their site it is mentioned the club was not formed until 1979, but that is not accurate. The orginal group had an similar but different name and I blieve this is what they are referencing in the paragraph from one of the sites below. " I am not going to look any further for these records tonight, but I have and did communicate with someone associated with this group in the yrs of my research - without a computer. Just talking to people and using the telephone...you do NOT want to see my phone bills from 1996 until 2001. I look back and try to remind myself of what I did without to investigate on my own. None of you are aware of how costly this search has been to me in terms of not only money, but health and relationships. Well, maybe not the forum Snow, but YOU found something while participating in the forum that bears further scrutiny. Why dont you post the particulars about your intriguing suspect including the words he wrote in a book about freezing feet while walking along the Columbia River? I don't think the FBI ever had this guy in their sights and he is an AMAZING match on a number of fronts including: Former Boeing employee in tech documentation Skydiver with night jump experience Viet Nam experience including civilian jumping and witnesssing atrocities by the US military USMC combat vet OUS resident at time of Norjack residing in VERY obscure place Resembles the FBI drawing Has a HUGE grudge USFS Smoke Jumper who worked in the Northwest. Need I go on? Even if he isnt Cooper just finding him teaches us a lot about investigation techniques and how people (like me and the FBI) miss things. How did you do it? How did I miss this guy while doing similar searches? This guy is old. He probably isnt Cooper but he might be. Even if he isn't I'll bet he knows what was known among jumpers and others in SE Asia about those Air America 727 jumps. Let's find Bruce and get him to interview this guy while he is still living. 377 I read back and could find nothing in the forum - who are you talking about / and where is the posting by Snow you are referencing. Bruce could probably use a few $ with the winter heating bills and the Holidays just ending just as the rest of us might. I do NOT know about skiing, but Weber did Ice Skate. When we lived in CO he took us to a ice rink. He was going right along like he had done it all of his life, but I was unable to move without support. My daughter was doing fair, but Duane was actually supporting both of us on the skates several times. I finally gave up and just watched him skate - I was amazed...he was 56 yrs old. Duane at one time mentioned a prison up in the mountains and pointed out the direction - and told about how inaccessible it was. This prison was the subject of the many phone calls I had with Himmelsbach in those early early yrs (1996 - 1999) but, the FBI would not even address the ONE prison in WA I already had records of (stating Duane a resident at McNeil). To this day I know little about the prison at Larch Mtn and/or if it was there in 1944 when Weber was at McNeil. Because of Duane's details about the Bonneville Camp - one would think he has spent some time there - but again nothing I have checked out would support his being on that Camp ground at any given time. Especially the late 40's. I have not revisited this sujbect since those early yrs. These are things I left up to the FBI - I had no resources to do so.
