BUT coming to this thread is too much stress. Now I will go thru another night of terror - I was ordered to go to the ER last Night but chose to see it thru. I appreciated Amazons explanation of the terrain in the area. After you leave Wahougal going EAST there is (you call it a hill I call it a MT). If you are 70 plus and have never driven in the hills with steep inclines on what I call a narrow road - you are terrified. There where area for pull overs - I was going slow and I let traffic pass when it backed up. At places there where passing lanes for those who chose to go faster and there where pull offs. To me this was a mountain. The other place in Washougal was no more than a hill but if was called a MT on the map. That HILL (I told Jerry about) was very steep and unpaved in 1979 and at points there where trees leaning like they would fall over the road. Duane was UNFAZED and at the top of the HILL was a clearing with a wired fence and a wooden gate. Within the gated and fenced area were LARGE dead trees and huge bolder - you might call them large rocks. I have describe this as looking like an old homestead, but the large boulders or rock was a problem - if it had been a homestead why did they leave such large Rocks. On my 2010 trip it was TOO WET to risk going up it - it was still a dirt road and Bruce was afraid of a slide. I had been out there a few days before he and I went but I couldn't find it. The difference is that because he was driving that day I was seeing it has I had seen in on that day in 1979. I was able to focus on what was around me instead of my driving those narrow roads. As we went back to an area - I asked him what was the name of the road we just passed - we turned around and when up that road. This is when I noted the rocks at what led to a trail up a hill. I saw the metal power "thing". If felt right but we went around to the other side of this area and drove down a road - which dead ended. It was pouring rain, but I got out and went to the door of the home there. I described to the woman what I was looking for and she told me to go back where I was. I took her phone number and sure enough I had to call her to verify the directions. Bruce and I went RIGHT back to that pile of rocks and I knew I had found it. I even know who owned land at the base of the entry and the old Metal power pole was till there - it was all there and it was not me imaging this place - it did exist. We found one needle in the hay stack I was told did NOT exist...but it did. My map showed the road and this surprised me as I am sure Bruce will verifiy this. He doesn't like me and with good reason - because I didn't approve of some of the things he has written and how he did them. I don't hide this from him and told him I didn't approve. Outside of that Bruce is a pretty good guy - he just gets too agressive sometimes, He does have a way with the words - that makes him a good writer - I just disapproved of the methods he uses. He is actually a very astute person and has all the makings of a topnotch writer...I just don't like to see anyone get in the face of people already damaged by all of this crap. I had know where Tina was since 2003 or before. Address and phone number, but I did NOT see the need to get in her face and destroy the security she felt and the life she had made for her life. She needs to be commended for staying out of the public eye and for the good she has done - not demeaned. This was HER choice and WHAT she chose to do. In my communications with Jerry I explained it as a small Mountain or hill. It is called Mt on a map - so there you are missy. There at 2 MTs by that name and even Georger knew what it was if he indeed spent many yrs in WA. You do pick at words. You can call them hills they are mountains to this old woman. Sorry I am NOT as SCHOOLED as you and others on the geography of the world and how to judge by height what is a a mountain and what is a hill. What I am getting ready to do WILL not be in this thread. I had actually hope it would NOT come to my having to take the direction I feel I must at this date. It would have been preferable if the FBI would have provide me with the information I have requested for yrs regarding Duane Weber. That was their choice. They chose to cease investigating him in 1998 per their letter, yet they collected DNA in 2003 held it till 2007 or 2008 before even testing it. Duane had been dead for 8 yrs when they collected the DNA. I had remarried and moved - I am a clean clean type of person and since I remarried had kept only what I could put in a suitcase in a hot humid Florida attic. The FBI held that DNA in its warehouse for an additional 5 yrs before testing it. Now they are stating the DNA they have may not even be Coopers DNA and they only had particial to begin with. YET, they have ignored what they did have. Thay had a background for Weber that did NOT add up - a background that was devious and suspicious. It was a giant puzzle - and all of the pieces where scattered all over the country. One agent is assigned to do something in each state and NOT one of them actuallly had enough of the pieces to even know what they were putting together. There was NO one person who controlled all of the specifics and had the over all picture and able to remain objective./...the agent turn over the last 16 yrs has been high on this case. This is just how the world is today - This cold case should have been assigned to a cold case agent yrs and yrs ago - so all of the leads could have been properly investigated. Instead they went to the agent of record and that changed many many time over the yrs and these agents had to deal with active cases. This cold case should not have been handled by frequently rotating agents. ALL of the records on the case should have been consolidated in ONE location - and I mean everything. Example: Carr never found the hotel registrations - good grief, the authorities checked all of the hotels around the airport - so what happened to those reports and what happened to the registration card taken from one specific hotel? Jo, Regardless of whether you were on Interstate 84, on the south side of the Columbia River, or on WA State Highway 14, on the north side of the Columbia River, you really didn't do any mountain driving between Portland/Vancouver and the Bridge of the Gods. In fact, you were probably not more than 200 feet above seal level at any point on that drive. There are probably places in the Florida panhandle that are more "mountainous" than those roads. You might NOT consider them mountains but I did. Hwy 14 on the Northside of the Columbia. I also didn't like the heights going up to Goldendale - but, I enjoyed that - beautiful country. Along the river on the Oregon side - I went back into something there and it was narrow and scary - forgot the name of it. Hey!

Jerry, stop horsing around and upload the the transcripts or the tapes. As others have stated you can upload the audio to plenty of online sites. Why are you dodging the issue? kinda makes you look like a fraud. You always accuse Jo of being a liar. Be a man, step up to the plate and show us your evidence. Something everyone needs to understand. When I contacted Himmelsbach he put me intouch with JT as the man on the ground who would know the places I was describing. Regardless of what I described - Jerry would claim it was this or that - I argued and argued with him over the phone. After 4 yrs of that I just went with the FLOW. I had only been to WA that one time in 1979 with my husband. Regardless of how I tried to describe what I saw - he would say it did NOT exist. When I explained that we were on the WA side and had crossed after we left The Dalles he kept telling me we were on the Portland side even though I told him we crossed after we left the Dalles. In The Dalles area - Duane told me about an airport on the other sided of the river - got the impression he had flown in and out of there. He tells me about Goldendale and a place the GUYS used to go. He tells me about Yakima and Indian Reservation (they had done some jobs there).. He talks about an airstrip on or near the reservation - military - moving equipment. I can't remember the sequence anymore, but there are earlier accounting when I was not as stressed as I have been lately and my memory is not getting clogged with time. Shortly after we crossed the Columbia (I now know from my trip in 2010 that was the Bridge of the God) he told me about Indian grave sites off to our Right - pointing N.E. He told me about a road that used to be above where the present road was and some caves along the old road (I did not find this on my trip as things had changed). Also I was making the trip in the reverse. He talks about Trout Lake and we actually stopped at Bonneville Dam - I didn't remember this until I was out there in 2010 this last yr. I got out and walked in the same places Duane and I walked upon all of those yrs ago. As we go on down the road he tells me it is all hills and ridges. I remember trying to dose off - I AM AFRAID of ROADs with STEEP sides - Fortunately for me they were on his side and that is the side I tried to focus on. When I was in WA in Oct of 2010 this last yr. I had to drive that same road from Washougal to the Bridge of the GODS. I was terrified and I was driving this mountaineous terrain. I had to pull off several times to let traffic pass and will never forget the dirty gross bathroom I had to use going down the East slope. I was making that part of the trip backwards from the way he and I had come. It was on this day I actually walked around at the Bonneville Dam - just as he and I had done many yrs ago - only a visual revisit could cause one to remember those kinds of things. At any rate going West on 14 toward Washougal he makes a comment - "I missed my turn" and then suddenly he realized they had four laned the approach to his target. I had grabbed the atlas and I thought we were at Camas. Now I know we were in Washougal. I had tried to no avail to explain this to JT for yrs. We go North into Washougal - and that story has been told so many times there is NOT need for me to retell it. All of this has been told and as I get older it gets harder and harder. The only map I had seen was what was on a Osha (do not remember the spelling) map that was 1/2 of the United States and a page in the Atlas. I did NOT have a detailed map of WA until I returned from the 2001 trip in which JT had instructed the crew where to take me - every which way but right. The young man was driving so fast it scared me - there was not time for me to focus and think. There were 2 other individuals in the vehicle. There were cameras and questions - I only do well one on one or couple with couple. This whole trip except for the last day was a shambles - as it was designed to be. Back to Washougal. I told about the cemtery, the Washougal river which JT insisted could NOT be on my Left. I told about the place I thought was a river - it was wide so not the Washougal. JT insisted Duane turned me around and we were back on the Columbia - I argued - that I knew what the Columbia looked like and we were not on the Columbia. Since I did NOT have a detailed map I knew nothing of a lake in the area and assumed we were on the Washougal....which we did go to later. I told Jerry this water was quiet and wide and it was NOT the Washougal because Duane took me to the Washougal after we left this point. This is when I talk about the Hill and the caretaker and the point Duane made a remark and the only time I took a physical note of a road. A road I would not remember until I was in WA in 2001 with the crew...the day after they left and with an undercover cop and 3 other women. He went to the area - the Angel Undell had indicated and I insisted on (he had other places he wanted me to see). We are riding along and I tell him after we crossed the bridge in Washougal to make a Left. I asked the driver what was on our Left and he told me the Washougal River - I immediately said - JT told me there was NO way for the Washougal to be on my left. I won't go any further with this because the story has been told in this thread many many times and JT insisted for from the time I contacted him in 1996 at the request of Himmelsbach and until I was in WA. in 2001 with witnesses - that I was NOT on the Washougal. JT until that trip in 2001 had done everything in his power to convince me I was NOT in Washougal. He kept telling me I was ON the South side of the Columbia and no matter what I said he would NOT take NO for an answer. YOU guys have witnessed this in the forum. I argued and argued with him about the points. He claimed I was on I-5. Yes, Duane did point a covert on I-5 under the highway to a place the guys used to hangout. But this was in reference to the Power lines and Pipe lines. The first place was on Lake LaCames and the place Duane made the comment I would later file away into my memory. Duane also talked about the caretake of a mansion on this "river" which was NOT a river. The FBI never ever checked this one out....because JERRY told them I was talking about someplace else. This is also where my little MOUNTAIN was and everyone here knows that JT has denied this - he knew what I was talking about in 1996 - the trees at the top, with a wire fence and wood gate and the large rock and trees. The Point at which Duane told me about the power lines and the pipe lines intesecting and that where they crossed you could walk all the way to the Columbia and there was a Marina there. Duane told me about a farm arcross the lake and we drove over there, but he did NOT get out - he told me the man who lived there had a son about his age. I now know that name to be BAFUS (I thought Duane said Rufus because I have an uncle by that name and he corrected. There were brothers - one was deceased and the other was in a nursing home with OLD TIMERS when I found them in 2010 - ten yrs too late. This is connected to the grave Duane told me about. NO more about that one to a soul...but, JT knows what I am talking about. The FBI would never listen and they didn't care. I doubt he was transferred or demoted on anything I had to say. I do know that "others" also complained about the DAN COOPER COMICS becoming part of the OFFICIAL FBI SITE. There are those who READ this thread - such as retired FBI agents, book writers, producers, individuals who have followed the subject for yrs. I have a personal friend who is well known in the Writers Association in another area. She was contacted by 2 FBI agent who are also writers in her area...regarding the "Cook & Bruce" find regarding Tina. She produced PROOF that JO had Tina's location and address and phone number for many yrs. JO is not a Vulture. NO my "friend" is not writing my story or a story about Cooper - just someone I have shared things with since we were kids. She is NOT a published writer. The point is that I took measures yrs ago to protect my sources. I am really pretty stupid about some things and I waited for the FBI to make a move in the right direction. I thought it was happening, but I can't wait for the FBI - I am running out of time. I was not looking for fame or fortune - all I ever wanted was to know the truth about Duane L. Weber - aka John C. Collins aka Dan Cooper. When the agent of records spends time with the likes of certain individuals - then IT is time to MOVE MOUNTAINS...or find out what WAS on Green Mt. that was SO important certain individuals claimed this place did NOT exist and has tried to discredit me for 15 yrs. JT claimed no knowledge of this Green Mt. Georger claimed NO knowledge fo this MT. Sluggo claimed NO knowledge of this MT. YET, it existed exactly where I told them it was. It appeared in 1979 exactly as I desctribed it. Anyone raised in the area knew exactly what I was trying to describe Now does that NOT make some of you ponder - COVER-up, but WHY would so many individuals be involved in a cover-up. Maybe they claimed knowledge of an area they actually had little to no contact with in the 40's to 70's. You Think? What Lies did I tell? That I didn't know where Tina was - QUILTY! All the buzz about Cook and Bruce approaching Tina and finding Tina. Jo found her in 2002, but did NOT contact her until 2003. There is BLACK and PINK PROOF of this. Georger you know this for a fact! Those who really know me outside of this thread knew about my contact with TINA and so did my husband. He was alive at that time and I asked for his permission provide her the land line phone number in his name and NOT my business number. There are those who do NOT participate in this thread who knew ALL of this. Most of the communications with these individuals is by email and verifiable. We laughed when all the publicity was credited to Bruce and Galen for find Tina. I told Galen where to find the Divorce records and that the rest of it was a CAKE walk. I knew the husbands name when you guys went on about talking to Tina's husband - and yet you didn't even have his name right. Now that was a vivid imagination - creating a conversation with a man who was not her husband. Get over it - accuse me of lies, white lies to protect. See what happened when they did find Tina. Individuals who know and have studied the crime for yrs complained to the FBI. The DAN COOPER COMICS became part of the FBI files. You are right the case is one big pile of excuses - but, NOT on my part - on the part of the investigative departments. They couldn't, wouldn't or should have investigated Weber a little more closely. The time line was there, but they didn't look at that. There was MORE there for Weber than there was ever for any other suspect - but, they chose to look the other way. I gave them all the time they needed, but they continued to spend money on things like Dan Cooper Comics and dna on suspects whose backgrounds did NOT support their being Dan Cooper. Read the post prior to your post and the answer to your question is there. If they told him not to post here - that was their choice. You will NOTE that before he left the thread he was keeping his statements to fact and leaving out opinions. The publication of FBI agents' opinions in public media complicate cases. The opinion of the agent becomes a matter of record - hence myth or theory becomes fact and/or so entertwined the facts become obscured. I have been thinking about something for a VERY long time and NOW my decision is made. I was trying to put this off until I saw where my health was going. Now I know I have only one choice and hope that choice does NOT damage my health further. It means putting off the other operation for awhile and spending money I cannot afford to do. I means making myself vulnerable to others. I am the one who CHOSE to take my stand in this thread because it was less intrusive into my life. Now I feel there is NO choice other than to confront the FBI in person and by going public. I never wanted to do this - I kept hoping the FBI would find their own errors and frankly I think they have been working on this, but the process is too slow. They have live criminals to catch. Not sure how to go about this because I am unable to interact on the verbal course - ALL of you are aware that I do NOT think on my feet. It is difficult enough with the written word. Jerry's attacks on me are over the top. All of you know he coerced me and ordered me and told me what to say - I did not know the names of the places. I took his word on these things. Then in 2001 I got to go to WA. and see these places myself. They took me where Jerry told them to take me - and it was NOT what I had described to Jerry. Himmelsbach was with us part of this, but the crew spent 2 days driving me to these places - I kept telling them NO and trying to describe what my memory held. Since NO one in that car knew the area - the "guide" was a student who had only been in WA about 2 yrs....he had NO idea what I was talking about. This is when the ANGEL UDELL came to be - the last day I was there and after the crew had left. Only by the GRACE of GOD did I find 2 of those places. I was satisfied. I contacted Jerry and told him what I thought of him. I also sent a tongue in cheek letter to him and I used what-ever names that happened to be in the news or on TV at that moment. By the way I did NOT even know who Brad Pitt was during that time - it was a name on the newspaper in front of me. JT was a joke and I made a Joke out of what he had done to me. I will never know how or why Himmelsbach thought this man could be of any help. Perhaps JT was supposed to provide entertainment to keep me out of the FBI's hair. Since JT claims to have such an intimate contact with the FBI even as we speak, perhaps JT was part of a cover-up? You Think! Does anyone believe this man is intelligent enough to participate in a cover-up? I don't and if the FBI is really listening to this man they are more inept than I thought. As for me getting Carr fired or demoted. Well, an agent who was careless enough to make the DAN COOPER COMICS part of the FBI site and to make other statements he did publically - he got himself demoted. Frankly I have been told he was given a promotion if he was sent to D.C. Carr actually took credit for what the DZ did. He also promoted MYTHs in the thread by stating opinions the media and the posters took as fact. Carr is responsible for his own actions and if he was demoted this was his own doing and not mine. Do any of you seriously believe the FBI would demote an agent because of a complaint - unless they validated such a complaint? Perhaps his demotion was caused by the Citizen Sleuths when he gave them access to the actual FBI files? Perhaps he violated protocol. You Think! Use you imagination! Maybe he misrepresented some of their qualifications and maybe his actions contaminated some of the evidence. I may have stated sarcastically that I got Carr fired. The written word does not inflect emotions. It is an " YEA, SURE " remark and most individual have used such a sarcastic retaliation to accusations. Just easier to agree than to disagree...as it would appear on the surface without the visual inflection. I have already spoke to someone about my decision to move forward. We know my energy level is very low and I can not travel. If it backfires it backfires - at least I will have the truth documented. Duane asked me if I wanted to go see him and I said we couldn't afford the tickets. He had 2 prime tickets in his hand - second row of tables from the stage. We left Tahoe the next day - very very early. The only other casinos I have ever been in were in Alabama. A bus trip with some co-worker for the day. I ended up just wondering around and bored. I played a few machines, but used up my money really fast. Just not much of a gambler. I did go with Friends over to a Casino to eat on Christmas day as all of the restuarants here are closed on Christmas. We did NOT gamble. I may have given you permission to tape something for your own use, but not to be publicized. I also know this was after you had told me all the WRONG places - WHY DON"T YOU ADMIT that you refused to be the GUIDE in 2001 - and you told the TV crew where to take me. You had them taking me up I-5 and no where near Battleground or Heisson or Lake LaCames - even Bruce knows about Lake LaCames and Green MT. YOU DENIED that Mt was there over and over and over. I got your ASS in black and white - because of my emails with the TV program. My emails to the director and her emails to me. There is also the RADIO program when I spoke to them which was before you got inside of my brain and tried to do the brain WASHING you did in Vietnam. Doug Pasternac was part of this interview. What about my letters to Mr. Himmelsbach with the drawings on them. I made copies and I still have them. Anyone from WA looking at that drawing knows exactly where I was and it was NOT on I-5. Yes, I was on I-5 later that day, but NOT that morning. If someone did NOT have a map of the area - you can tell them anything you want, but YOU know as soon as I had a MAP of the area and after I got back to FLA in 2001 you KNEW I had caught your deception. Thank You, it is more than we found. Definitely after Sept 16 and before the second wk of Oct. I do not even know which Casino we were in and I have NO momentos from that trip of the picture we had made on Lake Tahoe on a dinner cruise. I kept thinking Hahara, but Sahara might be it. I still put that trip either the last wk of Sept or the 1st wk of Oct. Really believe it was the last Wk of Sept or I would not have asked the question about wearing apparell. I was warm enough in alt Lke for shorts, but by evening in The Dalles it was pants weather and the entire time we were in Seattle my winter wardrobe was fine. You gave me a choice in 2000!??? YOU coerced me in 2000 and when I WENT to WA in 2001- I found it was YOU who deceived and lied to me. Then in 2001 I called you and told you what I thought of you - and I did NOT speak to you again until last yr. I called you in 2010 after I got back from WA on my own this past yr. and found most of my places - and you never admitted you lied to me. Jo, Does it really make sense that Cooper would take a couple of books left behind by passengers? Every minute counted. He barely had means for carrying the currency. Why on earth would Cooper take a couple of books with him on his jump? Nobody is interested in your book theory. It's too speculative and unlikely. Show us the picture of the parachute hardware that resembles what you found in Duanes belongings. Don't tease just show it. You have repeatedly ducked my question as to whether you attended a smoke jumper convention. It's a simple question. 377 I have never attended a Smokejumper conventions. I thought the question was just a joke question, but you are serious? The books are small - and if he touched them - he had to take them - right? I never gave Jerry permission to record me and he coerced me and knew I did not know the names of the places - he insisted I was on I-5 when I was not. He gave me the names of places - and I had NO map...to contradict him. I accepted what he said because he was the man on the ground. Needless to say I can't keep trying to explain this - useless. The man is crazy. When I went to WA in 2001 I then called Jerry and told him none of what he told me was right. He didn't even understand the lake and kept claiming Duane doubled back on me and I was on the Columbia rather than at a Lake. it went on and on and on like this. Jerry put me in the ER twice - and if he comes near me he will be arrested. I do NOT ever want to be anywhere near JT - he is a very very dangerous man and armed. As 377 as pointed out previously, there is some documentation that men from minimal security prisons were used to help fight fires -- clearing brush, digging trenches, etc. but not smoke jumping. Maybe that's where you got your idea from. I think I've read this too, but even if this is just an assumption, it would seem logical that most smoke jumpers would be recruited from folks that had experience or training in fighting fires. They had to know about about the mechanism of fires and the maneuvers to use to stop the fire. The jumping was a means of transport, right? -- fighting the fire was the true objective. Surely recruiters would rather have them know how to fight fires first and foremost - then they could be taught how to jump. To put Duane or any other prisoner in a smoke jumper's chute would assume that they had experience or training in fire fighting. That alone makes the whole scenario a bit of a stretch. I do not believe I ever claimed that Weber "learned' how to jump while in prison. I never got beyond the pictures of the 3 guys who where ex-cons who had volunteered for this pilot or purposed program. Between 1988 and 1995 - there was a BIG fire in the West. Duane stayed glued to the TV. He said he knew some of the guys who use to be based there. I just do NOT remember where this big fires was - this was a huge fire. I had come home from work and still had my paper work to do before I could go to bed. This was when he talked about back-fires and used a lot of the terminology I found in Young Men and Fires. Duane told me about Missoula on the 1979 trip. I know that Duane had connections with forestry and he had the training for forestry - and I expect that had to do with the prison system in some way. I know none of that for fact - but, there was no conceivable reason for him to lie to me...he just always omitted prisons. I know for a FACT he knew Paperlegs Petersen...and he was a jumper and communications guy. Duane went to see him while he was married to me - end of 1979 or early 1980...in Landon - I just remembered the white-out. Duane knew Paperlegs from CO. or the few months he and MJ where in Az or Tx - it is in my notes and recordings. I have been at this way too long and I am too old and tired to continue much longer. Everyday at this is another day lost out of my life. The FBI has NEVER really listened to me - right now that are individuals trying to put this into some kind of order so the FBI will listen - so they will have to listen. Right now I am too tired to keep repeating and repeating myself day after day. I will let the professionals do it now...a time line has been developed for Weber - one that disputes the FBI windows. There is MORE circumstancial evidence regarding Weber than any other subject. Somehow or for some reason the FBI has ignored Weber, but they won't be ignoring him anymore! Goodnight. I do NOT remember what the 2 or 3 lines said. I know the 3 men where volunteers for a new program Folsom or San Quentin was trying to implement thru the forestry It probably was the prison in the background. Hell, I had only had my computer for about a month. I believe I found that in February of 2000. NO I did NOT imagine it. It was there.
