Recently Sluggo was offered a very large collection of old news article - most of which he does NOT have on his site. Sluggo made no reply to the OFFER. How many of you are going to continue to dispute the eyewitness accounts? How many of you think an accounting made during the commission of a skyjacking - in 1971 is not more creditable than the "things" you guys get lost in. YOU guys are true Junkies - Cooper Junkies. Georger you are among the worst - and you are supposed to be this great intelligent person who has been allowed privey information by the FBI and who supposedly is an expert to whom the FBI entrusted some of the "found bills" to test. Right now I would like to know what you are an expert in - perhaps poor judgement and have none of the expertise you claim knowledge of. I have been referred to as delusional and called a liar many times over the yrs. Well, Georger you and some of the others are LOST in a fantasy world of illusion and trivia. - OR - You guys are so caught up in the trivia you lost sight of the goal. YOU guys are just out here replacing facts with myths - anyone reading this will never even know the facts of the crime. Does anyone even re-call that Captain Scott used the intercom before they went down in Reno. He stated they were making their approach to RENO and informed NO ONE (Coop was gone) that the stairway might substain damage and wanted to know if Coop needed any assistance in getting it back up. They got NO answer and they took the plane on in to Reno. When flight 305 landed sparks flew as the rear stairs bounced on the run-way. Read the news articles of the time - DO you guys think ALL of those journalists got it wrong? Hell, some of them were at the airport when 307 came in for a landing. ARE you guys going to continue to talk to yourselves? You do NOTHING to advance this case or to solve it. Some of you are interested only in useless Trivia just because you can.. You take eyewitness accounts and continue to dismiss them and replace them with Hypothetical scenarios that DID NOT happen. What is the purpose of this? Good question. Is it possible that their extension angle was determined by airspeed? When the plane came to a halt on the ground they had no slipstream pushing them upwards. In the FBI sled test photos (taken from the chase aircraft) the unloaded and loaded stair deflection angles should be visible. I sure wish Ckret had been able to post the video of the sled test. 377 What is available of the sled test was in one of the old old documentaries. I doubt Carr had additional tapes or film of that. You guys are sure creating some myths lately. Not all of these Boeing were equip in the same way. Why don't one of you BRAVE souls who wants to REALLY know the truth - contact the only man alive who can tell you the truth about that aft stairway on that particular plane. Only the speed of the plane and the rebound after Cooper jumped - the stairway was particially open till they got to Reno and then when the planes speed slowed down the aft stair drop and that is how the damage happened the aft door way - it was NOT major damage. Do all the research you want and create all of the myths you want, but you guys are deliberately for some reason over thinking and over researching this aft stairway. Yes, there was a way to lock it down - but Cooper did NOT lock it down nor did the crew! Instead of intervening in the co-pilot's life at this time - WRITE a letter and give him your phone number and REAL name along with verifiable information about yourself. He just might call you back - when he is not bogged down with private issues. He is a very very nice man and extremely polite, but do NOT get him upset the way XXXX did...by calling him repeatedly and slipping around in his area with a conspiracy theorist. All of that slipping around cost a certain writer an interview with the co-pilot - your's truely (Jo Weber) was chosen to give the writer a message "Tell him NOT to call me again". I don't know all of the technical stuff and do not know enough about it to even ask the co-pilot about this. If any of you are interested enough in contacting him - write the letter and I will send it to him...if you are NOT BRAVE enough to do it yourself. In other words - all of this research is absolutely worthless unless he verifies it. Considering his circumstances - a letter is the best and most unobtrusive way to go...and the most likely to receive a response. Getting old - what is the rule about I before E? P.S. Blevins I just read the post you made while I was doing this one - and you definitely did an interview with the Co-pilot. I do not know what you put in your book, but I do know some of the things others have claimed after they supposedly interviewed the co-pilot. Your statement is exactly the same kind of simple answers he has always provided. I have a feeling when the technical questions are asked by a pilot and someone very very experienced with the Boeings - he might remember some other little detail. The answers are going to depend on the knowledge of the person asking the question...amazing what one can remember when a trigger is pulled. Has taken me 2 days to get back. I learned a lot about how to get back if I ever screw up the proxy again - but I think I will sleep for the next 10 hrs. Really think you guys are over working the aft stairs - it was NOT as complicated as you think. I understand that NOT all of the planes had an Aft way they had to control from the pilots arena. There was a light that let them know it was up and locked in place or if it was down. Bill'S wife and himself are struggling right now to enjoy their life or I would contact him. You guys are really trying to complicate this effort regarding the Aft way. You guy are really going to hate me in NOV. But I figure what the hell do I have to loose. The world already thinks I am a crazy loo loo who was out for 15 minutes of fame. If that was true then why have I hidden behind a thread? Hoping my health holds long enough for me to finish my project. I has to be done RIGHT or NOT at all. Just wish I had enough money to do it right - but my poor folks way will have to do. All it is going to SHAKE UP the FBI and cause them to SCRAMBLE. Well, they could have been incontact with me and have really have studied the information I have acquired these last few yrs. I can barely make a post lately, but I wanted to let you guys know that someone sent me some of the things being posted on Bruce's site. Seems like Bruce and Cook are taking credit for finding Tina. All of you know I spoke to her in 2003 and that I am the one who connected Tina and the Co-pilot after all of these yrs. I have the emails to prove it. Galen had been trying to get Tina's location out of me since 2004. I have a letter he sent me in regards to this - it is dated. I finally dropped him a big hint and told him where to find the Divorce records - from there he was on his own. In 2003 - a person I will call Robbie Clamplett contacted me and told me how to find Tina and left it up to the 2 of us what happened after that. I had acquired the same information on my own - but, wasn't sure I had the right Tina. I respected her privacy enough to be respectful of what she had been thru and what she had done with her life. I have been at this for 15 yrs. Seems like Bruce's story about Cooks interview is very different than what Cook himself told me.I will leave that one for Cook to tell in his book. Just as I do not post on Sluggo's site, I will not post on Bruce's site - what I would like to see some truths being told. There are individuals who think Bruce is a hero and others who feel as I do - SICK to MY Stomach about how they (Bruce and Cook) stalked Tina. I didn't like Gray revealing her location either. I read what all of the writers are stating about Tina and about others involved over the yrs. The information trail has been this Thread here on DropZone. Tina was found in 2003 by Jo Weber. Emails from Robbie Clamplett will prove Jo Weber has known since 2003 and it was only verification of the same information that she (me Jo Weber) had already acquired) - but chose to be respectful of this witness. Bet Bruce won't put this in his Mountain News. Couldn't believe it when Bruce stated that Cook claimed the co-pilot got him in touch with Tina. How the HELL does Cook think the Co-pilot knew? Cook is very aware of the story about Bill asking me to put him in contact with Tina. He sent me an email which I read off to her recorder word for word and then he put something in there so she would know it was really him. He asked her if she remembered what he gave her the Christmas after the Skyjacking. I have his email saved as a HARD COPY. Therefore it contains DATES and TIMES. It is things like this "story" about Tina that I find sickening. Writers who write books and produce other media taken from the blood and tears and anquish of others. Some of you have the GALL to call me a liar. Blevins, you get this Thread on Paper so that it never disappears. Frankly the DZ could profit by making disks of this thread available in sets. A lot of history has unfolded in the thread and I would like for my children to someday know what this has been like and why I had to keep pushing for the truth to be told. My personal records and this thread and my emails make liars out of some of these writers. Did they think I was such an idiot I did NOT back myself up with paper and disks? I cannot seem to get the DZ on AOL anymore and have to go to Internet Explorer, but then sometimes that does NOT work. When I hit favorites either at AOL or Internet Explorer the site comes up, but I can't get in - except by accident. Also I have to go thur the front page and forums and key in Cooper to get here. Did I loose a setting? Have there been changes my computer and I do not have? Do I need to change some settings? If anyone can walk me thru this I would appreciate it. Georger you have stepped over the line. Why are you and others at risk to be here with Jo Weber? IT is the OTHER way round. I am at Risk being here with JT and other nut cases. Remember I have had more than one threat from others who post here - past and current. In the case of old past poster the message was sent via my regular email and it was specific. I don't understand why you get so out of sorts when you disagree with others. Blevins had been trying to NOT talk about Christainsen and the book and just to remain in the loop. Yes, I got tired of the retoric, but if I didn't want to read it in it's entirety - I didn't. What I cannot and will not ignore is certain parties who call me names and make threats. If it turns out Weber was Cooper you and JT and a lot of others will be eating not crow, but your own vomit! If the FBI would PROVE to me Duane was not Cooper - I would accept that, but they have NOT produced on piece of evidence to support their decision made in 1998. I have produce more circumstanctial evidence regarding Weber than anyone has ever produced on any subject. So far it has only been my word, but wait and see what is happening. Volunteers are actually proving some of the circumstancial things. The FBI never looked at the complete picture regarding Weber which was fragmented by multiple agents over the yrs, plus the fact I jumped all over the place and NO one agent was able to follow my rants. It has taken the logical order of trained individuals and others who know the Cooper Story in order to be able to do this. So far they have proven that I was DEAD on with my story about the trip and the things that happened in 1980 before Duane left CO. Then there are things that happened during the last 5 yrs of his life. What will it prove - that JO WEBER never made any of it up. I had never researched the date with back-up data and then take that information back to a specific incident that involved others - such as in 3 incidents - the law. Proving I never lied about these things - is very important to me. JT had an agenda when he kept telling me that the places I described did NOT exist. I think his agenda was to be the one who found Cooper and make Mr. H proud of him. The only way he could reach this goal was to make sure I was discredited or deceased. I have provided these things in the past - and do not have the stamina nor health to dig for them again at this time. YOU, Mr. Green do NOT know this man who calls himself JT. I never asked if the BLEEDING had anytthing to do with the containers or any medications Weber may have been taking at that time. If you are going to say I said something - the go find the QUOTE. The money was found just beneath the surface of the sand. Brian did NOT dig down 2 feet when he found that money. I have several witnesses who picked me up right after I talked to her (she was a truck driver). I told the party picking me up that I had a call from the River Lady and she had something she wanted me to see. It was right in line with what the Angel Udell told me. The other area we went to after that - was exactly what I had tried to explain to JT. You mean to say you would NOT take the word of a law enforce individual and 2 of the women who are still living. Are you saying they are lieing? The law enforcement person DOES not want to come forward because of JT....and the actions of JT when JT contacted him. NO NO NO. Too many thing point to the fact the MONEY was on that beach FOR LESS THAN a YR, There is NO proof the money was every in the water for any lenght of time. That money was planted and there was more planted, but never found. After all of these yrs - I actually believe right across from the PDX - Duane buried money along the shoreline. In 2001 there were 4 new homes built there...I did NOT go to the second site due to time, but I was told it was very similar to the place Duane went down to the river the first time. We made 4 stops and I believe Duane made 3 deposits. What brought you to that decision? Perhaps speculation, but not facts. Sounds like you are following the Cook theory. Duane was a problem child and a weird young adult. In 1943 if I can make anything out of the dates Duane took a government check - whose I do not know. He is put on probation and violates that probation by taking $5, but in 1944 $5 was a lot of money - in some cases a wks pay. He gets sent to McNeil - but they record his age as 22 when he was actually only 19. He was carrying Id that indicated he was 24 and what McNeil used. July of 1945 to 1949 - disappears. Shows back up in CA and arrested and sent to Folsom and San Quentin. Released in 1957 and within a short time is in violation of his probation and in Fla. No record of him until 1960 when he is sent to Canon City, CO. Released in 1962 and then disappears. Actually he becomes John Collins and living only a short distance from Canon City???? 1966 sent to Jefferson as John Collins and commuted as John Collins - that is weird. If the fingerprints belonged to Duane Weber - why was he not charged as Duane Weber. Fingerprint foul up maybe? Then after he is released from Jefferson the FBI is looking for him again. He was easy to find - so what did they want him for in 1968 - FBI sent an agent from MO or KS looking for Duane L Weber in CO. They didn't arrest Weber, but why where the looking for him? Weber had a couple of DUI's after 1971 but that is all I am aware of. I just found out he ran a red light in 1991 - yea, still on the hunt. I think Duane was salvagable in 1945, but he was young an scared. Duane was sent to Folsom but then transferred to San Quentin - I never understood this - why they transferred him? What happened in Folsom. Frankly I can not even fathom a man being in a prison during those days - it had to be horrible and dangerous. McNeil was know in the 40's for it sex offenders and that must have been a scary place for a mixed up 19yr old to be. He volunteered for the Navy and then got into the ARMY while his parents waged to have his Bad Conduct discharge wavied from the NAVY. The bad conduct discharge was based on an off base incident regarding hitting an office who was hitting on his girl. A life destroyed over a girl! I guess that is what it boils down to. YOU took someone who tried to describe to you what she was seeing - and YOU gave it places and names. I described the places to you, YOU were supposed to be the man on the ground - you told me these places did NOT exist. You told me where I was and where I was not. I had NOTHING but a map of 1/2 of the USA. Hell, I did NOT even know where the I-5 bridge was. I told you repeatedly we crossed the River to the OR side before Portland - You said NO that could have NOT been. WHO was I to argue with the man on the ground? You need to be very careful you provide to me the very first conversations - I had with you in the beginning NOT what you convinced me of. You bashed everything I describe to you and told me they did NOT exist. I will never forget how you kept drilling me and telling me I was at Point X not Point A or I was in C place and not in Y place. I told this ANGEL what I was looking for. I had been there for several days and had found nothing. I told her about the expert who was supposed to be the guide and that nothing I remembered even existed. She did NOT know who I was or why I was there - other than I was trying to retrace an old trip my husband and I had made 22 yrs before. She asked me to describe them. I described the places to her the same way I describe them to you for yrs and yrs. You claim to be the man on the ground - guess what you aren't! I went straight to 2 of the places after talking to her with 4 witnesses. One of the women has died, another is 78 and the other one is a little younger. The undercover man is in his 50's. Remember him - you claimed to have contacted him and you had not...you claimed he was part of my LIES! You told me then I had found nothing. YOU are aware he did NOT want you harassing him and his family, the way you harass me. You are ONE very scary person. I severed all relations with you in one conversation after I got home. I accused you of being what you are and wanted to know why you took me on a wild goose chase. Your reply then and now was YOU LIE! Remember that conversation - YOU DID not want to talk to me. Did you record that one? WHY was ANGEL UDELL able to direct me by my descriptions to 2 of the places I did find on that trip? Remember my phone call after I got back from WA...when I told you that I found two of the areas. YOU called me a liar then. Did you tape that? When they came to dig up Symba - I told the man then that I didn't know the names of the places - only the names you gave me and that after my last day in WA I knew they were NOT correct but I had NO map. YOU insisted it was the Columbia that Duane had turned me around. I hire a girl who volunteered her time - I refused to let her do it for free and paid her what I could. Guys - Himmelsbach and Jerry where my only sources related to Cooper during those early yrs 1997 to 2000 besides the FBI. Jerry, think about all of the other claims you have made - can you prove you knew McCoy? How Honest can I be with this answer. I think I would want answers to the HOWS and WHYS. At first I would cry and say I told you so -I have been telling you for 15 yrs Duane was Dan Cooper. After the pity party and tears of I told you so and gratitude it was over - would come the questions. Why they would decide after 15 yrs of sheer torture on my part finally conceded Weber was Cooper? What did I finally say or what did they find? I would want all of the details about why they made the decision - I would want to be sure they were NOT just trying to appease me or the public. Beyond that the only thing I would like to see put in place is program for Ex-cons with decent I.Q.'s of non-violent crimes and not drug related. I don't mean manual labor - but Insurance Sales, Real Estate Sales - Bankers - Educators - a program that would allow these ex-cons to do what Duane did for himself, but without having to look over their shoulders every time someone walked into the room. If they violate the terms of the program - they go back to prison with added yrs of hard time - by contract. This would require exceptions to the licensing bureaus of the states and federal organizations. These guys would be given a clean slate - but with penalties - by contract they would go back to prison with extra time at hard manual labor - no trial or appeals - go straight to Jail. Duane would have wanted something good come out of this. Duane's old friend is very religious and always tells me - that when he gets there (heaven) the first thing he will say to Duane is "You Really Did It Didn't You" He expects to see that grin Duane used to charm everyone. If you were to get verifiable info tomorrow that proved that Duane was Cooper, and the FBI said yeah, he was the guy - aside from gloating for a while - what would your next step be? Did the DNA the FBI extracted from the envelopes I provided them produce the PKD gene? 2. In the FALL of 1998 after the FBI sent me a letter - Duane's stepdaught returned to her mother's home in California. She was in xxgxxe, OR for a period of time. Think about this one long and hard...and do NOT make light of it. The FBI interviewed her and her mother shortly before she departed for OR. In a subsequent conversation with the step-daughter - before she died she told me "I know Duane was Cooper". Why did she tell me that ? It was the only private conversation we ever had. She told me she had wanted that one on one - for a long time - her mother was not home - a one time happening. She told me what happened before the FBI came to their home and what her mother did. I believe she was telling me the truth because of "what" she told me. I would later question the FBI about this - and sure enough - they told me something that was dead on with what she had stated to me. The FBI had not revealed this to me before - not until I told them about the incident the young woman had recited. What the FBI was aware of and what the daughter had told me were dead on in relations to a specific incident. Now go put your head in a bucket of water and count to 100. There has been no continuality of information regarding the questioning of individuals. When I called them - they should have checked this out, but they had already supposedly disqualified Weber with nothing more than finger prints...per their letter of mid 1998. Trying to post a envelope dated 1982. His sister kept this envelope Duane along with a letter to his sister. The letter is long lost to me and the bother provided the envelope hopefully to obtain DNA, but we used one of those sponge sealer in those days so I didn't know if the FBI was able to get any DNA or not. I never scanned an envelope before and not sure the size will post on the thread. I have NO idea why I did this tonight. Just going through old files. He sent her a letter and some pictures - I understand this was one of the rare communications she had from him in several yrs. He would call her by phone at Christmas and she never had an address from him until we moved to VA....note even then it was a P.O. Box. The last time she saw him was in 1971....she refuse to tell me anymore than that. At the time of the skyjacking she lived only 12 miles from where one of the letters to the News Paper was sent. All of this has been said before and my memory lately won't let me recall the location. I have made a post somewhere along the line giving her location at that time and the post sent to a media source. Now I am getting to old and to many health problems to try to remember the details. No one cares anyway - She asked me to leave the past in the past and NOW I am the last one standing. She didn't want her friends to know and begged me to leave the Past in the Past.
