You did not get this from the Trascripts because it isn't there! You just made it up or you have another source ? Well, those transcripts are missing a vital steps in the process - the process in which the passengers where allowed to DEPLANE - Where is the conversation that took place between Tina and Cooper during this time frame? "We all have a little larcency in our hearts". Duane's ex used to say that all of the time - strange that was also the expression used by Clara the featured woman in Max Gunther's book! Apparently Cooper was NOT looking for a packing card. He was searching for any devices that might have been concealed. What was in the paper bag Cooper carried on with him? Perhaps he was expecting to need devices to attach things! He had the brief case and he would need to take that because his prints would be all over it (or maybe he did NOt expect to survive). So holding on to a brief case - just how was he going to transport the money. It did NOT arrive in the Knapsack he requested...note that Cooper was agitated by this request not being filled. Also not Tina commented about an item in the brief case - that has LONG LONG been ignored. I will let you guys do the research and state whatever you think it was, but there are those who already know what it was. It has been puzzling WHY you guys ignored this one little item all of these yrs. Most of you have gotten lost in the technical aspects and forgot what was ACTUALLY seen and HOW Cooper reacted to situtuation aboard the plane. Cooper checked the chutes over only because he expected tampering. Where the card was is an excellent place to put some kind of device. Some individuals can make something from basically nothing - that is just how they are. I think Cooper used whatever he had to work for him. Perhaps the battery in the brief case had a dual purpose - a power source for something he may have had strapped on his body. Perhaps Cooper was so distraught about his life - that it was a DO or DIE things. He just didn't care one way or the other. Most of you do NOT seem to focus on the basics and his reactions to Tina. NOT one of you seem to remember he was UPSET about there being NO knapsack - so what did he do about that and how did the crew (Tina) accomodate him regarding this. There WERE things on the plane in the overhead compartments and under the seat. Did planes had overhead compartments in 1971? Do any of you know if the plane used by Cooper had OVERHEAD compartments? So if there were NO overhangs where did the stews stow their stuff. The stews traveled very lightly as they some times did not stay with the flight. In 1971 - how many of you saw what the stewardesses used for their overnight bags? Did we have roll ons in 1971. Frankly I don't remember because the only plane I had been in prior to 1971 was a small private plane. Why don't some of you who KNOW elaborate on the items carried on to planes in 1971. I think you will find yourselves asking yourself a LOT of Stupid questions about Cooper's actions. The only resources available to Cooper would indicate military or smoke jumping experience or perhaps exposure by way of packing, drug runners, covert actions, plane thefts, transporting of illegal things to and from...this list is not a large list (but Intermountain Communications used a lot of guys who had NO choices left in LIFE)...guys paid if they survived a good sum of money in CASH. I replied to a post someone made regarding the reserves and stated: I was asked WHY I ever entertained the idea that Duane knew where Tina lived in 1979. On the 1979 Sentimental Journey Duane disappeared for around 5 1/2 hours. After he returned from is 5 1/2 hour trip alone, we continued on our trip crossing the Columbia to Hwy 14 at the OLD bridge (the name of which eludes me tonight - but it has been discussed in detail in prior postings). I was unable now to remember if he made the statement from the West side of the river on our way to or if he mentioned it when we returned from Seattle on the OR side. He spoke of Gresham, OR he used to know someone who worked at a retirement or nursing home there - I do NOT now remember his words - but, will swear before a court of law that he made the statement. I thought nothing of it. I now know Tina Mucklow lived in Gresham at the time of the money find in 1980. She quickly removed herself from the area & went into a convent. When I learned this - it peaked my interest - was it sheer coincidence that she worked in a nursing home or retirement home at that time? Later in my investigation you guys know that I spent a lot of time talking to the ex-wife from 1971. After the way the FBI approached her it took me a LONG time to win her confidence. During one of our long conversations. she told me what she did in CA. One of the things she did was work for a credit card company (some place in my notes is the name of the company). During my early relationship with Duane it was obvious he was still hung up on this woman. I told him I could not take the relationship to another level until he got her out of his system. I personally around Thanksgiving of 1977 put him on a plane to CA to see her. A relationship with a man who was still in love with his ex was NOT acceptable. Perhaps I am connecting things that do NOT connect and the FBI is the only party who could have answered this, but they never went back to see her after the initial contact in 1997 after they were prodded into investigating Duane by me. As some of you know - Tina obtained her divorce in CA in the same area the ex-wife lived in. I think the ex-wife informed Duane about Tina undergoing a divorce in the area and provided him with an address in Gresham. Tina was living with her sister in CA and then moved to OR after the divorce. Who did Duane know who lived in Gresham and is it a co-incidence that in 1979 that Tina lived there? Did Duane Weber pay Tina a little visit in Gresham in Sept of 1979? I had asked Mr. H if Tina had a break-in around Sept of 1979. He did NOT know or made no comment. When I found out the ex-worked for a Credit Card Company and Tina living in Gresham in 1979 - the FBI and I were NOT communicating. I was really pissed at the FBI's lack of communication (they didn't contact me and ask me the things I remembered). They had already sent me the letter of 1998 dismissing him based on prints. I LAUNCHed my own investigation into Duane's past. I forget now how I got the ex's location or if it was in his address book. Until that letter arrived I left everything up to the FBI. Who did Duane know in Gresham? Did Tina have a break-in around Sept of 1979? Did someone leave her a package and take something as a souvenier in 1979? Something she might not have missed right away. I have suggested the Book was taken from the plane - a Book with a picture of a little girl in it who bears a striking resemblance to Tina Mucklow. Something about that picture and that book haunt me and it will always haunt me! Perhaps the picture of the little girl is just a girl and the Book has NOTHING to do with Tina Mucklow. The research on the book: I did speak with the author before she died. The book was published for a church in the area Tina was from...I forget NOW the location, but It is either in this thread or in my notes. There were only 3000 copies of the book published and the author still had 2 of them. I asked her why she used Tina as the name of the little Dutch girl she had illustrated in the book? She told me she just like the name! She was in her 90's. Because of the date associated with this book - there was NO way it was connected to anyone who knew Duane or any of his family. Tina was about the same age as Duane's daughter Zona would have been...ABSOLUTELY not suggesting Tina was Zona - not at all. Tina looked enough like my own daughter who was much young to have been her sister - at least in the pictures. Tina spent a lot of time with Cooper and told me "He was a very sad man". She had not told this to the FBI but to Jo Weber in a conversation in 2004 - yet, Ckret was brazen enough to use this as though it was his own information and not acquired by the wife of a suspect. Actually do NOT know were this train of thought even enters into the picture, but felt I needed to again tell this part of the story. The details are in this thread someplace - remember I am starting to forget things... age and self-defense - trying to move away, but finding that very impossible with all of the STRANGE co-incidents and the recent things that have happened in the last 7 months. Especially the thing in the last few wks. The book is probably of NO significance at all and just pure co-incident - but for some reason I cannot let go of the book with the little Dutch girl in it named Tina. It did NOT come from Duane's family because of the dates and it haunts me. The child in the picture - her image is burned into my memory. When I tried to scan it it fell apart. The book was water damaged. I will again post the bad picture I have and maybe someone else will look at it with fresh eyes. When I contacted the woman who composed the book - I did not and still do not know the family names of Tina's family or the family friends. I have all the information on the book in a file I can't even find - but I still have it. I remember the basic information, but forget where the file is in all of this huge research. When I look for something it gets put back in the wrong box. I have so much - it has just all gotten scrambled up and now my mind is scrambling to just to keep tabs of day to day things. No need for any feed back - just letting my mind ramble with the memories and the questions that have gone unanswered now for 41 plus yrs in the case and my own questions unanswered for over 18 yrs now. If that book was indeed Tina's I would love to put it in her hands before I depart and tell her how sorry I am for all the grief he caused her. I also want to let her know he did become a good man. He lived by the principles in that book and one he even quoted at times. Whatever connection she felt for him or he for her - it was one that influenced how he spent the rest of his life. This needs to end for all of the survivors - The crew and myself and anyone else out there whose life has been altered by Cooper. Jo Thinks - WHAT the F difference does it make? You nor I will ever know what made Cooper do anything he did. The reader seems to think - Cooper actually went see Tina after the jump. All we can conclude from your oblique post Jo is that perhaps long phone calls elevate your mood. 377 Nope! Not usually, but that one did. Lots of Questions which I answered as well as I could. This thread is read by many people who do NOT post - some whose interest is more than just in passing or for entertainment. Do anyone of you know how long it takes to READ this thread from beginning to end? I would not want to try! It has been noted that some seem to think my story changed, but this reader was able to understand where I was coming from and where I was going and that I did some exploring on the thread. If I had been someone looking for Fame and Glory - 7 yrs on this thread dealing with the drilling and games you guys have played - I would have been gone LONG ago. The individual knows how much effort I have put into staying private and looking for the truths in the only way I could - by dealing with the likes of some of the individuals who came to the thread to play mind games and to just hear themselves talk. all the while I searched for the truth. Skip Porteous - investigated ( even talking to me), but who knows or cares what his opinion of me was. He certainly never told me that Duane was NOT Cooper - maybe I am the reason he handed it off to Geoffrey. Sluggo - he just could not get past his own personal opinions or perhaps there was more than meets the eye in his relationship with the Cooper case. He did a great site, but his personal impressions got in the way of his conceptions. Geoffrey Gray did a magazine article and a book. His book was disjointed to say the least, but he did try to uncover and expose some of the things no one else has been able to do. He ended up getting LOST in the book and took the easy way out as he was obligated to produce a finished product. Yet, he exposed facts and files and things NEVER put into the Cooper story in one place for readers to absorb the facts of the case. Gray did introduce another generation to Cooper in a back door kind of way. The last two chapters became his escape route as the ending he wanted to write eluded conclusions....but, he actually open doors of information and bought the interest of a new generation into the realm of Cooper today. Robert Blevins - a writer looking for a story - who jumped at the bait too quickly and found himself in over his head. Everyone was JUMPING to have the Cooper Book that ended all Cooper books. Marla Cooper - Twisty Butt which was a name I gave her after seeing pictures and listening to her escapades in Wa to promote herself and her subject. She did MORE damage to the Cooper investigation than any wannabe writer has ever done. All of the above transpired over the last 12 yrs, but Jo Weber was unrelenting in her search, after the FBI in 2000 caused her to take them to task. From 2000 thru 2001 - she struggle with the media, but then walked away to do it HER WAY with no resources other than a computer and her time. Stuggling to learn more about the crime she learned what a forum was and found Unsolved Mysteries and 101. The facts of the case eluded the public and she needed to know more. In 2006 she discovered Drop Zone out of frustration - posting for information and to find anyone who knew more about the case or her husband of 17 yrs who died in 1995 after telling her "I'm Dan Coooper". Well, I think you guys know The Rest of the Story! The skyjumpers came to her aid - providing information. Some of those who helped in the beginning never made themselves part of the fiasco that evolved over yrs. Many continued to communicate with her. The Skydiving community really stepped in when NO one else would listen to her story or rantings as some would call them. Then came a new era of posters - those wanting to look at the mechanics of the skyjacking and the possibilities of survival. This was Sluggo and the rest of the investigative crew. A lot was learned over the yrs regarding the information available about the skyjacking and the money. Things never before discussed in an open forum to the extent it was being done. Then came the wannabes looking for a book or for fame or to make a name for themselves. Those who used the thread to promote themselves and their wares - took away from the purpose of the thread. The thread became - a tool of self promotion and to sell their wares. Still those looking to actually solve the case tried to continue to persue their personal goals regarding the Skyjacking. For over 8 yrs (2006 to 2013) some serious researchers lofted and posted without ever divulging WHY they were here. Some never posted. Some just could not past a woman who fought her battle in the thread, a woman who was fighting a battle based on her own life with a man who told her "I'm Dan Coooper". She was never dissed by Dropzone or jumpers, but by those whose interests many could NOT explain - some just unfortunate enough to get sucked in the Myths and Hype and others whose motives NO one seemed to understand. The pendulum started to swing again toward those genuinely interested in finding resolutions to this old crime. Same old same ole stuff was being repeated over and over - but, a woman making a trip she could ill afford to Wa without the FBI having any knowledge of her being there and who was not writing a book, but trying to find personal resolutions regarding a man the FBI said was NOT Cooper continued her search - doing it her way! The thread got the attention of REAL investigators and unbeknowest to the woman or to the thread - the Cooper story was evolving. A couple of them working right along with the thread as posters...things were NOT adding up. Private emails & PM's of encouragement, when the end seemed impossible. One Post was the point of NO Return! Just when it seemed there was NO end in site, suddenly the anwer was staring them in the face. NO WAY! You say! The Cooper story had come full circle one more time! So When do We get to know the ending? When do the players come forward and take their due credits? Is Is this just another one of Jo's games? Is it really over? Stay tuned for the lastest Cooper story! In the mean time the FBI is scrambling to save grace or will they continue to hide the secrets of the past and to deny the truths? Guess we will all KNOW in a couple of months! Case Closed, Case Opened? How the HELL will the FBI /and the US Government ever handle this. Absolutely NO continuality of answers to enquiries and questions. What they are doing now is how the case was run for almost 42 yrs. We cannot expect change if we do NOT stand up for our rights! Time for full disclosure - if things have to be done out of the public eye and without disclosure, perhaps they shouldn't do them at all. The US politics gives cause for other countries NOT to trust us - it has been their own undoing! Wars and one country against another - the TOWER of Babylon is falling again - but this time they won't go separate ways - they will destroy each other financially and citizens will turn on each other. I have seen this in part during my life time - God Forbid What the Children now being born will endure as 75 yr olds - regardless of what Nation they were born in. Anyone remember a dumb broad telling you 2 of the Boeings were purchase by an organizations in FL and TX. I do not even remember the details on this now - not even the yrs. This has dragged on for 17 yrs now. You guys are probably not even referencing JMWave, but I do know Duane had connections to JMWave (he pointed out the place the office used to be and spoke about the GUYS).., FL and the TX connections (you know this Georger). I stated it before and I restate it. Hell, the research on that was filed away yrs ago and I have NO idea where to even find it in all of the mess. Yes, Georger I also know that a LOT of thing related came out of TX. Ed Huran, John Collins, Tommy Gunn and Tony Wong! The paintings that Tony did of a compound - one designed to keep others out and not anyone in - was very significant. Looked very very much Like the picture of the Compound shown in the magazine Soldier of Fortune with the picture of the guy with a barrel between his legs. The only thing Duane left in a safe deposite box which I had NO knowledge of until after his death - That stupid magazine, but there had been more! The magazine he showed me in the very beginning before the shop was robbed was the very same story & pictures - he showed me in the magazine in 1990. Then in 1995 after he died was a 1994 issue with the same story in it and the same pictures. Remember the shop was robbed in early 1990 after Duane made his little trip to Omaha to retrive whatever it was he kept in the Box. He immediately went to the workshop and looked behind the door - and said "Damn they got it". He never told me what IT was. Some one wanted what he had behind that door badly enough to scale the back wall and pull the window unit out. NOTHING else in the shop was disturbed! Duane did NOT contact the police. Stange way to commit a burgulary and some old glass was NOT the bounty he was after! Stange the way Jo puts little messages meant only for certain individuals to understand with in the text of a post! Georger knows what the message is hidden in the text! Oh! I forgot you might not have KNOWN their real names - you were just the pen pusher for the Front! Strange the way YOU never react when I make these comments. I make a peep about certain other things and you go off your rocker - but when I hit the nail on the head - you never say ONE word! I can't get past the Script thing to make a post with an attachment. I have a 1/2 page poster I made and I cannot get it to post NO matter what. This is the 3rd post I have made in 24 hrs and I do not expect it to post with an attachement so will not try. If this does get posted would some one let me send them by regular email the information and perhaps you can get it to post. NO ALTERATIONS - Georger I would NOT trust to to put the 1/2 page poster up at all. Would like to have done it the was Farflung did his posters were it came right up the the posting. The only thing I have been able to do is post single photos - but this is 7 plus photos on ONE page with 600 plus K whatever all of that means. I assure you Weber commited many crimes he did not get caught for. Finding out he was a criminal many times over - explained some odd things in our marriage, but now I understand some things that had always puzzled me. I won't go into any detail with this at this time. Statements and stories made to me by individuals from Duane's past indicate he committed crimes for which he never was arrested. I now believe that there was MORE than the one time I found him in possession of somethings - he supposedly found. I frankly believe Duane left many victims in his wake and commited crimes for which he was never caught. I remember his explanation about an item he said one of his employees who needed money sold to him...have a feeling the item was stolen and not something he was holding for a debt. When you find out your husband had spent as many yrs in prison as Duane did and after 17yrs of Marriage - you start to think and remember the times things just did NOT feel right. My mother's family has a very large 4th of July in Bradfordsville every yr. This may well be the last one, but I could not go since I was in the ER on the 25th of June. I had test schedule this wk and rehab. My sister flew out on Weds. Since she is well known in the area - you might run into her. She usually stays at the hotel where the old Drive-in used to be. It over looks the farm across the road I was raised on. I have not been there since they built the hotel - and I am not sure I could handle being that close to were I lived from the time I was 4 until I was 18. The Stone home is closer to town and were I was born, but at the age of 4 my grandfather died and my father took over the BIG farm at the cross roads. We owned all of that property going toward Raywick and toward Bardstown. We could not plow up a field without turning up arrowhead after arrowhead. At the forks people use to park and look at the White Faced Angus my father introduced to the area. Last time I was there - the house was NO longer there and when I saw what had been done to the old homestead my heart felt heavy. Where that hotel is located I got my first kiss ever at the drive-in. I was 16. Tell Gloria and Sylvia hello if they are in the area for the holiday - they may even be deceased. One was older and the other one younger than myself. Jo, First, let me ask what parking lot you are talking about? Second, you and Duane MAY have crossed the Flushing Channel in 1979 to and/or from the Tina Bar area to Vancouver. Third, you DEFINITELY crossed the Flushing Channel in 2001 if you went from Tina Bar to the Portland airport. The Flushing Channel was not there in 1971, so it would also have been new to Duane in 1979 and some roads to Tina Bar had also been changed. I'm surprised that Duane didn't tell you about the Flushing Channel or the road changes. Robert99 I will repeat tell me what a Flushing Channel looks like! My memory is visual. Yes, I know about Vancouver lake, but I do NOT know what a FLUSHING CHANNEL IS OR LOOKS like - tell me what it looks like. That is what triggers my memory. Sure I could go look it up - but, I do NOT do that on purpose. He mention something he did NOT know was finished, but he did NOT say the words Flushing Channels. Now you have my mind trying to go back to before he stopped at the river. I know we went straight to the Red Lion after the stop at Tena's Bar. I remember when I was with the Crew - they confused me. I kept looking for something that went under the highway and it was only after I was out there and on my own driving a vehicle in 2010 I found that old underpass. We had gone East out along the Evergreen Hwy and then down to the river just past where the Winterly Pk is. Then we went to the Green Tank. When I was out there all of that property was developing into condos. The woman whose husband had some of the property told me in 2010 the Green tank was still there and they were going to move it. The property was no longer accessible to the public. When I left there is when I found the pass under the Highway. I had remembered the pass - and that we drove West to what I now know as Tena's bar. I really cannot remember what we passed to get there - but he did note things changing - do not remember anything specific. He drove past Tena's bar before circling back. I did NOT try to retrace that part because in 2001 I was told it had all changed. He somehow in all of this took me to an industrial area - shipping and loading and transport boats and rails. Because the Crew in 2001 drove me around - the 2 trips are co-mingled on this portion of the trip. I just remembered the stop at the river and then at the Red Lion. The rest of it is as I said co-mingled with where the crew took me. If I had been on my own and behind the wheel of a car in 2001 before all the other changes I may have been able to repeat the area the way he drove it. FOR GODS SAKE WHY DO YOU PEOPLE KEEP THIS UP. I have repeatedly told that I was at Tena's Bar from my early contacts with Mr H and others. When a young man came to the thread regarding the bag and the river - I rode along regarding his theory. This is the time you guys are referring to - I can go back to the letter I wrote Mr. H. and the things I told Margie in the emails before she did an article in 2001 that I have told about Tena's bar for yrs and from the beginning. I didn't know what it was called...I just knew what it looked like and described it in detail over and over and over for yrs and yrs. The only time I doubted this was when the Crew in 2001 approached it differently and I had them take me to other properties - but in the car I asked Mr. H about a specific building I saw as the crew took us to the Red Lion - it was then that there WAS NO DOUBT I was at Tena's bar in 1979. Do not anyone of you get that my memory is visual. I wasn't looking at maps in 1979 - it was ALL visual. What is in my memory banks! What was said is triggered by my visual memory. I have things in my head from when I was a young girl - I never told anyone and never will. The mind is a strange thing - and some of us recall differently than others. Why would anyone keep repeating I have to prove I was in WA in 1979. It was a meeting with Family Life out of Seattle WA. Our expenses where paid by the company. It was to show us the new computer they had - it was massive. Max McMillian was the guy in charge and he lived on the island and was still taking the ferry over since the flood. Phil Harris was there and Duane knew his father - I was told both are deceased. I do not know where his wife is or if she is still alive. I do NOT remember the names of the other there. My daughter knows Duane and I went to Seattle. What kind of proof do you expect me to produce. Duane bought me a ring at a concession just out side of the elevator door at the top of the needle after dinner. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT OF ME! I was in SEATTLE with my husband Duane L. WEber in Sept. of 1979. We went to Tahoe afterward and on our last night there I got to see Englebert on stage. I had never been to things like that - HOW the hell could I forget. Go to the old old thread on Unsolved Mysteries - I do not remember if the route and what I saw was discuss there...or if any of them really cared. They had their own suspect. In fact I was cautioned NOT to discuss the route since what I knew was elementary and only what I saw and no maps. What if I had pretended to be like MARLA - totally clueless...and made claims like she did. I didn't even do that in the beginning. I just didn't know the roads and I tried to describe were we were and when we turned and what I remembered. I was called a liar and told I was on the South side of the river and not on the West side of the river. The man kept telling me there was NO PLACE like I described - that went across the river to Hwy 14. I had no detailed map and did not find the place Duane and I crossed from OR to WA until I was in WA in 2010. A PLACE JT said did NOT exist and that we went to Portland on the trip to WA and were never in the Washougal area. I describe all of this in detail to him and he said I was never there....yet I went out in 2010 and it was all there just like I had been saying since 1996 when I called the FBI. When I type I might make mistakes with dates and other things - as I might not feel well or had any sleep. Some nights I was up with my terminally ill husband all night and then on this computer - some days I go no sleep. I married him in 2002 and he died in 2007. We did not know he had cancer until 6 months after we got married. I only had a computer since January of 2000...yet I remarried in 2002 and managed to post on this thread and others - I do not know anyone who could have fought this battle the way I have fought it with all of th obstacles put in my way by wannabes and naysayers. I have fought this BATTLE for 17 yrs NOW. It is not over until I am DEAD and it won't be over then. WHY the government wants Cooper to be dead? When I pull up the DZ thread I get this statement and have a hard timer making a post. Take several minutes. What does this mean and how do I make it go away. STOP RUNNING THIS SCRIPT. A SCRIPT ON THIS PAGE IS CAUSING INTERNET EXPLORER TO RUN SLOWLY. IF IT CONTINUES TO RUN YOUR COMPUTER MAY BECOME UNRESPONSIBE. Regardless of if I hit yes or no it does the same thing. Forever and Forever. What do I do about this - I cannot afford for the computer man to come out and charge me $100. plus. I do NOT know how to remedy this. NO I cannot afford anything but what I have - which is dial-up. I would still have to pay aol. for my access to the filing cabinet. Even dial-up is too fast for me sometimes. In 1979 - my view was from the Parking lot. In 2001 - my view was from the beach and from the parking lot. In 2010 - is not relevent as I was seeking the approach and then the road away from the site to the Red Lion with the crew (2001) and with Duane 1979. I found it and it was NOT how the Crew approached it in 2001 and but how Duane and I approached it in 1979. Frankly I didn't want to go all the way to the property - as I feared contaminating my memories. I did the right thing for me by going just short of the property. I knew that after my times of going to see our homestead in KY that things changed and it became difficult to remember it the way it used to be as a child and a graduate going off to college. Plus I was pushing the clock to return the vehicle rental. I found what I needed to and barely made it to the airport in time - in fact I was just a little late and feared incurring more expenses. Tom was referencing a BAG and I did not understand what he was talking about. I had also discussed a bag with Mr. H but would NOT have been a bag that had anything to do with the RIVER. The money on the RIVER would NOT have been in that BAG. I didn't understand what Tom was talking about at that time, NOR did I know what he was referring to. He was referring to the PAPER BAG and that would have been the PBAG Duane threw into the river. There were 3 STOPS on the river where Duane was alone and I have explained these in detail for the thread. A young man was the one who was claiming the money found at Tena's Bar the paper bag Duane threw into the river at the Red Lion. I could NOT get the young man to understand the 3 stops. So I gave up and went along with his theory, but I ALWAYS go back to WHAT I know and WHAT I witnessed! Three Stop in which Duane went to the water alone. There was 4th stop at the green tank - but I was with Duane on that stop and Duane explained what the green tank was. So 4 stops - 3 in which he went to the WATER ALONE! Sometimes it is easier to agree with a theory someone presents than to ARGUE with them...I had given up in frustration. NOTE the postings later on I GO BACK to my claims and STOPPED listening the other things being thrown at me. I know the stops we made! It was the 2010 trip I made when I was able to RETRACE the trip Duane took me on in the WA & OR area. Remember that was the first time I had been incharge of a vehicle and then discovered ALL MOST all of the places Duane took me to. The 2001 one trip with the Documentary crew was useless on a retrace...too much confusion and a guy who drove too fast and who did NOT know WA (was a student who had only been there for 2 yrs.) THAT was the GUIDE they provided. It was only during the last day of that trip with the help of some private citizens AFTER the crew had left that I found the other things, but I had not the time nor the money to stay to finish the job. It was NOT until 2010 I had enough money to make the trip I did for 15 days. Was prepared to stay for only 7 days, but used my credit card to stay the additional 7 days because I knew then I would never have another opportunity to figure it all out. Excuse me but I am CRYING REALLY HARD RIGHT NOW! NO one is LISTENING to me - NO ONE heard me. I kept telling the crew this was not right or that was not right and THEY DID NOT HEAR me! Right now my arm is going numb and my heart is racing - I can take no MORE of this TWISTING and turning to Make things seem the way you guys want it to be. This an EVIL world. NO one wants the TRUTH - they just want the crime to remain unsolved so they can continue to RUN their mouths and have their FESTIVALS. You represent WHY I walked away from the church many many yrs ago... Palmer - indicated the money had NOT been in the Columbia or on THE BEACH for more than a yr. Palmer was on the site in 1980 after the money was found. You have taken his words and a letter he did and twisted it to fit your own theory - which is just that theory - you were NOT on that beach in 1980 or in 1971 or in 1979. You indicated with the statement that you are QUOTING PALMER. If he said placed that is what he meant. CAN you PROVE that PALMER indicated the WASHOUGAL AS a SOURCE? Palmer never represented the WASHOUGAL as a source! He did state that the condition of the money indicated it had been in the upper active layer higher up on the beach. That statement has been misrepresented for a long long time and why the "report" was never made public. Your WITNESS #2 is a complete joke and you should know that or you are a bigger idiot than he is! Why don't you tell these guys who your NO. 2 witness is? You maybe referring to someone else, but I doubt it. The man I believe you are referencing is NOT QUALITFIED to make such statements. It has been proven the money could not have traveled from Washougal or Lacamas Lake and have been found on the beach in the condition it was found. Eunice Barth Gilliam the wife of Stanley Gilliam was born on Jun 27, 1924. Same yr as Duane L. Weber. She was born in Puyallup according to her obituary. Her parents were Louis and Louise Barth who were desendants of immigrant families same as Duane's grandparents. Remember my telling about the family story where Duane's sister said that friends of the family intervened with Duane when he was sent to McNeil. Think! Duane's family on his mother's side were Wenz. They were all of German heritage. Trace Eunice Barths parents and the places they lived. Remember the picture of a woman sitting on the edge of a plane Duane said he knew. I think that was Eunice and the picture was made at Thun...all I have is my memory of the picture. Her parents are listed below: Louis Barth (1896 - 1970) Louise M. Wuestney Barth (1900 - 1987) The person I need to trace is Louise M. Westney Barth who died in 1987. I believe she was the friend of Duane's mother. The story I heard about why & how the Weber's went to CA in 1943 - included a story about a friend of Duane's mother who had a child around the same time Duane was born. Remember the picture I am posting below. A trip Duane and his family made to CA when Duane about 10 yrs old. He is the little boy in the pic. NOTE the woman who you cannot see very well. I believe that woman is and was - Louise M. Westney Barth - the mother of Guillam's wife. I have repeatedly ask about arial shows in Ca around 1934. The Weber's were offered a job by friends of the family in CA and why they went to CA in 1943, plus the embarrassement Duane had caused them with his discharge from the Navy. The woman in the background of the picture who is sitting down I was told was a friend of his mother who is standing. The girl is Duane's sister and the young man is Duane's brother John. Since the great great neice who got the family photos and history will not respond to me and who has probably not kept the things her great Uncle provided regarding their heritage - I now have to appeal to the thread to help me find out more about Louise M. Westney Barth...more than just where she was born - but any history I can find on the family and friends of the Westney's. I knew I had heard the names before - but I am sure John was no more aware than I was. He told me about his Father who was the father of Duane - that the great depression caused them to loose the farm and then the other place they then lived curtesy of Ma Weber, mother of Duane's father. They ran in Ohio a smorgaborg and then that ran dry. The move to CA was in 1943 from Ohia was because old family friends help him find a job in CA. I will note someone connected to Mrs. Westney Barth gave birth to a child in CA as they resided there near Arcadia which is where Duane's parent moved to in 1943. This may have been how Duane knew about Gilliam since he married into the old friendship/family tree. This is theory and why I was looking in to Gilliam or anyone else by that same last name. I had tried every version of the name since I did not know how it was spelled. This is how Duane knew who Gilliam was and whoever he worked for. Theory and bits of stories I had heard from John and from Duane. For yrs I had looked for the friends of the family who helped Duane's parents out in hard times. Any ONE of you who can research this - please do so. This is as far as I could get. I know that Duane's father served with 2 guys he kept in close contact with for the rest of his life. (thought one of them had to do with the move to CA). Anyone with credientials who thinks they can approach the Great Great Niece about the family HISTORY - please present your credentials and give it a try. The FBI is probably the only source who will get access to the old files. I can't, but also maybe some of you guys can at least find more geneology than I could. John and Duane told me family stories - but, I never thought they might lead to solving an old crime nor did I know when Duane was alive that he had commited such a crime....not even when he told me "I'm Dan Cooper!" My memory of the things told to me over the yrs - is the only reason this thing will ever be solved...that or someone is waiting until I die to reveal connections of Weber to the past. A past that will makes someone actually realize the man was DAN COOPER! If there is anyone of you who can put my jumbled words in some order and present them to the FBI in an objective way - about this connection - then please do so. I have the communications between the brother and myself. My log book. The notes I made during the few conversations we made before his hearing got too bad. As for tax returns, I would have none for the brother and with Duane I have them back to 1968 after he got out of Jefferson. There is NOTHING in those tax returns - that impacts Cooper other than Duane and the ex barely exsisting in 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971 and then in 1972 BOOM! If someone could get a family member to release the old family records - there just might be something there. It is on Floppies and I have already mentioned the relatives reluctance to explore the old files. With Weber there is a file prior to 1950 in Spokane, WA. The FBI agent told me in 2 conversations - you can put him in a chute, but you have to put him on the plane. The only way I know to put him on the plane is witness ID, something he may have had with him or have taken from one of the crew or passenger. The ticket you are well aware is gone forever.... Out of my frustration the other night I had a dream of sorts - I wasn't asleep but my eyes were closed - faces kept coming and going - faces I did NOT recognize and then there was Duane, but not as I remembered him. I do NOT believe in paranormal things and this is the closest (perhaps out of desparation) I have ever allowed my mind to go. He was having me look at a house we lived in together and he zeroed in on the oddest thing. A place I would never have looked - a wall plate. He or my own imagination was going all around the Kitchen and then it zoomed in on a outlet. I do not know who ownes the home or how to approach them, plus I would NOT want to make myself sound as some have called me - Crazy, delusional and off my rocker. In the vision he then smiled at me and faded away. I opened my eyes and then closed them again wanting to see this again - of course that did NOT happen. I assume I was in a dream state, but I wasn't asleep. Perhaps this thing has actually driven me off the deep end.
