  1. I was suprised she didn't break herself on that one. I just don't understand tandem landings, they seem incredibly harsh in nearly all cases... Not sure if this statement is true at all. My home DZ does a lot of Tandems . I don't see people limping off the LZ Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  2. Sorry cant help you there. Every time I try to do it .It doesn't work Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  3. He can also post in the Good Vibes boogie thread in the Events forum and there's bound to be some Farm regulars who can work something out with him. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3102802;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread you mean here Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

  6. I had no clue i was that low when i chopped, there was no time for that to process while it was happening. Thats a big problem and should be on your goal list. To be aware is to be alive buddy Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  7. I was thinking the same thing. The thing is that what you are saying is not true. Micron 310 holds a 150. You can fit a 170 in it but its tight. The problem is the reserve. Its a 143. So if you have a problem you might just have more problems. To the OP talk to your rigger and Instructors at your home DZ they we let you know whats good for you. I would buy used for your first. You probably wont be jumping it all that long. Good luck Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  8. I want one tell me where to get it Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  9. Now I see why everyone bashes each other on here. This mushy shit is making me sick. lol Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  10. Thats what im talking about Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  11. Im sorry WTF are you talking about lol. The bike thing is a choice. Some people like kawi's some like Honda's and some like Harley's ( im a Harley Man ) Makro came on here asking what people thought about his wing loading . In a arrogant why i might add. Now we are all skydivers here or love the sport at least. So the bike thing doesn't make sense to me. People with more experience bashing him for the question doesn't make sense either. Maybe sending him a email that he is a retard for that would be ok but to do it in a open forum i dont think its right. Its not helping anybody. Ill tell you why I think that lol Now some other new guy or gal has a question that he/she wants to ask wont after reading this in fear of getting bashed for asking. Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  12. I just asked him and he said it wasn't him Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

  17. And, like all of the others that replied with the "tough talk" that you don't like, you are free to post your opinion here. As long as the posts are within the forum rules, they stay. I just think its the wrong approach thats all Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  18. Slotperfect I have a serious question. In all your years you never had a student come up to you with a question like that. Or maybe you over heard a question like this being asked to someone else. Would you allow the person being asked the question to bash the student. I know I wouldn't. I would at least pull the student to the side and explain to them why or why not to the question. I realize the kid opened himself for all this. I just don't agree with it thats all. I think there are better ways to educate someone then to publicly humiliate them. I read this whole Thread and there was some really good advice. I also saw that he had a answer to every post. I just feel that doesn't mean you give up on him and start bashing and if and when he gets hurt you say I told you so. Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  19. ////////////////////////////////////////////////// Sorry ozzie i just just had to do it agian. Im a Texan, you know us southerners GOOD SHIT LOL Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  20. If you have nothing constructive, or funny to say maybe keep it to yourselves /////////////////////////////////////// Just thought it needed to be said agian. Sorry im a New Yorker I had to do it lol Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  21. I contend that it's better to learn some lessons from others' experience - the universe teaches much, much, much harder lessons. I agree 100%. I just dont see bashing someone over the head to teach them is any help at all. I dont see it at 400 jumps and I wont see at 4000 jumps. Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  22. Again this is why I hate posting on here. Tell me please where did I say that we or you should feel sorry for Marko. I agree that he opened himself up for ALL of this . There is No doubt that he bought this upon himself. I guess it goes back to how I was raised. If you got nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  23. QuoteI guess he has no comment.. I talked to Marko. He does not want to fuel the fire. This I think woke him up and he realized that he needs to slow down. Some really good instructors are working with him to get him back on track and he realizes he was very lucky. Basically he shit his pants lol. I find these forums funny. I was ALWAYS told, praise in public and correct in private. I guess if you post something on here you better be ready for the vultures to come a get you Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  24. ill tell you what. I posted it because I wanted to . Im not going to respond to the comments. You think It was a good level. Well so do I she passed. Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  25. Hey Ozzy make it easy for us lazy asses next time.. Yea every time I try to make a link it don't work so I let you pro's do it Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
