  1. THis is a scary statement. Usualy we read stuff on the internet, and check with others to see if it's OK. Now we're doing the reverse. I am NOT learning to swoop from the internet .I had a question about taking pressure off the front risers.Everyone is so critical on this web site .Whats the deal Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

  3. I was reading threw this tread. The first question I have is Why do most and I say most ,people that have thousands of jumps forget that there jump count was at one at sometime in the past . I get the feeling from reading this web site that there are alot of Sky gods out there. I THINK that people forget that we are all skydivesrs and the only stupid question is the one that is not asked. I know that everyone has opinions .If it makes someone safer in the sky then why cant it be answered without sarcasm!!!!! Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  4. after posting this I checked out some of the links that people posted . It makes sense to me now why RW go out first . The skydive radio one made alot of sense and the simulator shows that it is safer for them to go first. My other concern was the canopy traffic . I thought if the the freefliers went first it would be less traffic , but now I reather deal with the traffic then have someone go threw my canopy . Thanks to everyone for there help Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  5. Thanks Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

  8. It's bad choice to compromise intelligent exit order to deal with landing traffic. I am just trying to look at the hole picture but thanks Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  9. Thanks this helped answer a LOT of questions!!!!! Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  10. Then you have the problem of everyone trying to land at the same time and the chance of a canopy collision, I would think Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  11. I ask this question because every time I go to a new DZ they do it different. Some people think free fliers should go first because they don't drift as much and fall faster and if you do it this way there will be less pattern traffic . If bellies go first they drift and fall slower and the free fliers fall faster and that means more people in the pattern . So my question is witch is better ? Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  12. I souldnt of said the word stall LOL .I meant what you said , slow it down .So that is true. Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
  13. I am looking to start swooping (straight in or 90 turns) A friend of mine told me to stall the canopy before I grab the front raisers . Does anyone know if thats turn .He said it is easier to pull them down that way. Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

    Skydive Atlanta

There were about 10 of us that went there from Long Island New York for the FreeFly Festival.. I have to say, for southerners they were great lol Trey helped us with anything we needed..There was NO wait for a plane. 9 minutes to altitude! The Saturday night party was very festive. The facilities were great...over 250 people and still enough room to pack. Hospitality from all were unbelievable! including from local jumpers. Everybody was willing to help. Can't wait to go again next year!!
