Hi Kim I just took the course last weekend with Rich at SDLI and its was great. He opened my eyes so much. I love the teaching methods skydive U uses . The question I have is USPA going to raise their standards ? Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

SDLI has two separate landing areas .(Experienced and Student ) They also let everyone know to stay away from the swoop lane under 1500 feet Never give the gates up and always trust your rears! -
I took the coach course this weekend . Dual rating (USPA and Skydive U ) It was great. Like everyone here it opened my eyes to so much . I really wanted to take it to improve my skydiving and if I can help someone else thats great . There is so much info on teaching for just three days . I am really glad I took the course . I have a question, What is the difference in courses from USPA and Skydive U ? The reason I ask is I took a dual rating course and it was more of a skydive U perspective . It was really geared towards teaching fundamentals of skydiving basic body flight . Is there a difference in the courses and is something in the works so everyone will have to get the dual rating ? I started jumping since last Augest and when I found this site I was happy. I could learn more about something I really love . I find that there are so many PA's in the forums. Are we all on the same side here ? When I say that I mean that we want to keep the sport going and as safe as possible . I know this is a bland statement with out giving examples. I just don't understand it . I have learned a lot form this site but I don't need the attitude when getting the knowledge. I am wondering if I am the only one that feels that way? http://parachutemanuals.com/ I don't know if this would help anyone but it has a lot of good info. As far as SDLI"s packers go , They ALWAYS were and are helpful to me and gave me great openings . My thoughts are if you don't like the opening you get from a packer then stop being lazy :) Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

I know but the music they use on there video would be a copyright violation , No ? Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
-
Fourth, there are a lot of elementals missing from your vid. If you "understand how the world works" then you wouldn't be violating multiple copyrights, as one small example. I have have bin thinking about what you said about this .My thought is that I guess every person who puts a video on SDM's or Utube or any where else for that matter is violating copyrights . Do they ask the musicians to use there music on the video? Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
