    Ok, so I've been searching for a 2nd job for the past few weeks now and now I'm getting all kinds of leads! [:) Here's the thing, there's 2 jobs that I'm really considering and I have an interview with on Tues-working with people with disabilities. The pay is so-so but better than I'm making now. The other thing is the hospital is hiring-but on a "hiring hold" right now, for a psych. tech (I have a BA in psych). This is the job I really want. And my sister works there on a different unit, so I kinda have a bit of an advantage. Good pay, good benefits, will help me go back to school etc. Do I take the job I have an interview at- I'm 90% positive I'm going to get the job and wait to see if/when the hospital calls and then potentially quit the job I was just hired at?? That doesn't look so great. What would you do?

    I hope 2009 brings me much more happiness that 2008. I look forward to having some good things happen in my life. Some of my goals: Get a stable job and income so I'm not constantly struggling to pay bills Go back to school if I can qualify for some financial aid And of course to find new love and hopefully someone special!

    First of all, you're not an asshole. Sometimes I wish I had someone who could help me out when I struggle to make ends meet-which is pretty much all the time. I only know how much money stresses me out and how it never seems like there's enough-I'm sure all of us can say that. But from a girl's point of view, if she finally got a little extra cash, from Xmas or whatever, and did want to do a little shopping, I'd let it slide. Whenever I get a little extra, I like to go shopping too. BUT making sure that by doing that I'm not putting myself in any more financial stress. Like so many others said here, have a serious talk with her about it before walking down the aisle. You're being a gentleman just helping her out with her own expenses.

    What's annoying me most right now is the people who forget how to park just because there's snow on the ground. And people who ride my ass while driving on a snow covered rd. You riding my ass is not going to make my piece of shit car go any faster!

    I didn't know Dan at all, but reading this post brought tears to my eyes. From the pictures, he looks so young and handsome-it's always hard to lose someone, but to lose someone so young... My heart goes out to Dan's family and all of his friends! Fly free, Dan. I'm sure you touched many hearts here, watch over those people and make sure you send them lots of signs that you're around in spirit.

    I'm so sorry to hear of all your misfortunes. I too am hoping that 2009 brings some good things my way. No like it's any condolence, but in a matter of 2 months I lost my mom, my boyfriend of 3 years and my job. I know how you feel. I hope that things get better for you and that you are able to work things out. I am sending lots of good vibes your way and wishing you the best!

    I would try to contact some other members from your class. It seems to me, if 41 people got an F, there's something wrong with the teacher and/or his grading system. Your grade should not be that low.

    It gave me the heebie jeebies just looking at those photos..... Sounds like many of you know your spiders, but I don't so I googled it.     I'm soooooo glad it's over too! At work we had songs that aren't traditional Christmas songs and it was even worse.

    I love T-mobile! I've been with them for years and technically I'm not even in their usage area-everything here is At&t. I think their plans are much cheaper! I think I'll stay away from Iraq for now! But cute army guys....hmmmm hard to turn down.

    I have no idea what the restrictions are right now, I just registered a few minutes ago. The only thing I've seen so far is a sat night stay must be included.

    Ok, so I didn't buy it, but I won it!! At work today! I got 6 scratch off tickets for getting 6 credit cards today and I won a hoodie, a warm weather item (I chose a scarf) and a t-shirt! I was stoked since this Christmas has been pretty much non-existent for me!

    I'm trying to plan a getaway for my bday in Feb to Ixtapa Mexico. I've been living there the past 2 winters and going there for over 1o years, so if I don't make it this year it's going to be torture. I'm going alone too! Anyone wanna take a vacation to Mexico?? Oh and did I mention there's a DZ there?

    Yup- rejected it and forced it out-well I took it out before it came all the way out and left me with a nasty scar. Sometimes your body does it-rejects it at first (it's red, a a little swollen and hurts), then accepts it, and then sometimes decides it's a foreign object again and rejects it and forces it out! I agree it did hurt to get done, but I'm going back to do it again soon! I don't know if my tattoo or my piercing hurt worse! It's an addictive pain!

    Very cute! And gee I wish I had such a rockin bod! And I don't even have kids! I miss my belly ring! My body rejected it after 8 years a few months ago. I'm going to get it re-done soon! Keep it clean and be patient, it can take awhile to fully heal!
