Thought I'd post this here in case someone else needed to get a hold of the IRS Here's a number that I called 1-800-829-1040 I just spend about 45 min. on the phone with them, but I still didn't get very far. They told me I could use what pay stubs I have, estimate, and fill out this form 4852 and file and then call back in June or July, to get a different form and then re-file. I'm like fuck that. Back to trying to track down the form on my own! If I don't get this form soon, I might take a risk and file my return w/o it. Would that be a terrible decision??

I've been on hold with the IRS for about the past 1/2 hour now trying to track down my missing info, so I can get mine filed. GRRR

4 states? Are you in Indiana or Illinois? Straight shot up 94 from IL! I see you jump at SDC. I've helped out in Manifest a few times for the past 2 years (Summerfest, Nationals) and I lived there for awhile last summer. Can't wait to go this summer!

Got alot going on...waiting to hear about a possible job (should be hearing about it tomorrow or wed). And trying to figure out what I'm going to do about bills already 2 months overdue if I don't get the job and even if I get the job how I'm going to get to Florida (I'm attempting to push the reset button on my life and start over and it's not exactly going to plan). I hear ya on that. If I don't hear back from this job within the next week or so, I don't know what I'm going to do. I turned down a job a few weeks ago waiting for this one and it hasn't happened yet and I am getting impatient and my checkbook is hurting. Although I do have a job, it doesn't pay for shit. I'm turning 27 a week from today and feel my life isn't really going anywhere. I hope everything works out for you!! Try to stay positive! Have you tried taking Melatonin or anything to help you sleep?

I'm surprised one of the men haven't chimed in here with "This is exactly why women are worse drivers than men!" I frequently eat in my car and occasionally talk on my cell phone. I've also changed my shoes and put on mascara before.

I know someone already mentioned this but, try selling your old clothes or anything else you have around on ebay. I frequently go through my closet and anything that I haven't worn in awhile or that doesn't fit anymore I sell it on ebay. You don't always get the greatest amount of money for it. But in my mind, every little bit helps!

Holy shit! What the hell is a 13 yr doing having sex?! Apparently he never went through sex ed! I love this part of the article. I don't know what the laws are in the UK allowing minors to work, but here in the US you have to be 15 before you can even work. These kids will be totally dependent on their parents to support that child.

I've sold some things on there and it went well. The only problem I had is that it generated lost of scammers who want to send you a check. I posted my resume on there too awhile ago and I will never do that again. Every day my email box would be loaded with what appeared to be a whole bunch of bogus jobs!

YES they closed! I can't believe it! They had the best tacos al pastor that I've found besides in Mexico! You aren't going to find chilaquiles in Ottawa! I think there's a good restaurant in Joliet though!

So I have everything ready for my taxes except one w2 that I'm missing. I worked at a family owned restaurant when I was living in IL (I'm in MN now) and made decent money and claimed my tips. Now the restaurant has apparently closed and the number disconnected. So I tried calling that actual owner a few times and left a msg, but got nothing. So how do I track down this w2 information?? Do I need to go through the state of IL, or contact the IRS?

I've had quite a few jobs too, but I've worked 2 jobs to makes ends meet most of the time. I started working when I was 15 and have had a job ever since. I worked at a grocery store for 5 1/2 years and made more money when I left there than I've been offered at any job with my degree plus I had the best benefits ever. After getting my degree, I worked at a couple different group home type settings with deliquent teenagers and found out that I really HATED it. Needless to say I didn't stay at those jobs for longer than 6 months and I realize that doesn't look so good. I moved to Mexico for a few years and worked Manifest and as a editor and now I'm home working in retail. Trying to get back into my field but not sure what I want to do.
