There is a high demand for nurses right now so it's the best choice! If I can ever get the money to go back to school that's what I'm doing for. -
Oh and Discovery health channel is doing on a show on his/her (?) birth and how it was done Tues at 9. So, it's a man right? With female parts? What do you think happens when he has his period and is out and about and in the men's bathroom(assuming that's where he goes. Men don't have trash cans in their stalls-so what'd he do with it? My sister brought this up tonight and I thought it was funny/amusing/questionable etc!

I agree. I'd give anything for a cure for cancer even though for me it's too late. I lost my mom 2 months ago on Fri to a LONG battle with cancer. I think our environment and the things we eat have more do with it than people think.

I totally agree! I strongly believe in the freedom of choice. If two people gay or straight want to get married, let em! I just don't understand why it's such a big deal? How is their marriage affecting other people?

Would you consider ADD a disability?

Have you been officially diagnosed with ADD? Gone through all of the testing? Unless you are truly ADD the meds may not work for you. I disagree with some of the usage of the meds as Adderall is only like 1 mg away from being meth. But for some people, they do seem to help. With all that said, your post is concerning. If you find that you are forgetting things or freaking out preparing for them, it could be stress and just not ADD. And you state "I'm convinced I am gonna kill myself in an accident one day," that's a scary thought. Maybe you should reconsider what you're doing? edited to add: I'm not a doctor, but I do have experience working with psychiatric disorders. Please be safe!! -
Has anyone found a treatment that worked for their back pain? I saw Billy had blocks. I had those too along with numerous cortisone shots and even some weird procedure called "radio frequency" where they go in and burn the nerves. Neither x-ray or MRI shows any abnormality, but my back remains in constant severe pain. What worked for you?

They are going to show "his" birth on DHC sometime this week. He was a female, but never had the sex change operation to change his parts

So sorry! Losing a pet it so hard! Although Macy will never be replaced I truly think that getting another puppy does help when you/if you are ready.

I hate winter too and everything about it! I'm not sure if I'm going to make it away this winter either! This will be my first winter home in 2 yrs. I think it's going to be a long one.

Wow! I don't think I've ever been on any date where dinner/drinks has been $100!!! NEVER! Where are these type of guys cuz they sure aren't around here! But really, what I expect on a first date is to go to a restaurant and get something good to eat. Doesn't have to be expensive, but something better than McDonalds or Taco Bell! I also think it's fun to go bowling, or mini golfing, or something that involves talking. Sitting through a movie is not for a first date!

This year I will for sure buy myself 1 or 2 things that I want due to the fact that my mom passed away recently and my dad is just too lazy and doesn't care about shopping. So if I want something, I'll just have to get it myself! My mom used to take me shopping and let me pick out some things I wanted for Xmas. This will be my first Xmas home in 2 years and w/o my mom, I'm going to make sure it's a good one for everyone in my family!

My ex used to open doors(car or any other door), pull out the chair and help pull it closer to the table when at a restaurant etc. It was nice gesture, but that's not to say I let him do it all the time either. He's also mexican, it comes natural to their culture.

Absolutely no harm was meant by it, other than the fact that some things we want, we need to work for and pay for it ourselves rather than ask for it as a gift.

I do have to give him that.....I know a lot of people that live at home rent free during/after school because of the economy, lack of good paying jobs etc right now. That said, you asked a question about what people thought about asking for such a large gift for xmas, admitted to not wanting your parents to question how much you are paying for rig/AFP/or whatever else.

AGREED! I work in retail, our store is decorated for Xmas already! Most stores have already started playing x-mas music-thank god we haven't. Seriously though, it's not even thanksgiving is it really necessary?!!
