  2. I knew it was comming, when they stole "Major Guns" (WCW, WWF?), I knew it would only be a matter of time!! Behind every great world power, there is a chick with big hooters!! Greg A-37958
  3. Actually, thats how I made my daughter!! lol Well almost, it was at least dark, and raining. Tequilla will make you do some strange things!! Blue ones!! Greg A-37958 (< say, this works pretty good to help me memorize my license #!!)
  4. Great point, I might just consider it. Especially after last weekend, I think paybacks are in order!!! I think someone had the "courage" to eat pickled pigs feet and hard boiled eggs before thier jump last weekend, and your right, I gave everyone on the load plenty of room (couldnt tell who delt it, and no one claimed it). In some cases, it does actually make for faster exits, unless the heartless individual who deals it, climbs out and breaths clean air for a bit while everyone else is suffering in the plane!! lol. I actually had someone in front of me before exit turn around and tell me "sorry" and for a split seccond, I wondered, why, but I know now. lol Blue ones!! Greg A-37958
  5. Kids have the best timing, "come back in five kid, and bring beer!!!" and, as it seems, kangaroos have no shame, what, just bang her right there in the park!! in broad daylight, go man go!! lol Blue ones!! Greg A-37958
  6. I actually lucked out (kind of). My daughter is going to be with the x wife this year for all the holidays, including this Easter. So it looks like me and the easter bunny are going skydiving!! Of course I will miss spending Easter weekend with my daughter, she is 4 now and holidays are always a blast at that age, but I get holidays next year. On the bright side, I dont have to try to be creative for the next few days trying to eat a bunch of hard boiled eggs and I get to jump with no guilt!! I just hope she has as much fun as I do. I can see it now, she says "OMG!! ITS A CHOCOLATE BUNNY WOOOOOOHOOOO!! READY SET GO!! lol Blue ones!! Greg A-37958

    WoooooHoooooo!!!

Im not sure, but I think Coolidge will be closing real soon. I will most certainly be at Eloy, they have $10.00 King Air tickets too, at least for a couple more weeks!! I just LOVE AZ dropzones!! Blue ones!! Greg A-37958

    Faith

I had a vision of hot beer, fog, high winds, and no jump bunnies. If its hell it cant be fun!!
  9. If you could do both, do it!! They are both sexy. I have 2 tats, a southwestern styled gecko on the outside of my right calf and an oriental styled dragon on the inside of the same calf. They hurt a bit kind of like someone slowly dragging a lit cigarette across your skin, but the pain goes away quick. They were pretty pricy too, spent $65.00 for one and $70.00 for the seccond. I got them before I discovered skydiving, now I only think about how many JT were lost paying for them, oh well!! Blue ones!!
  10. Sounds like you do more in a weekend than I do all summer lol. I at least got one jump in at Eloy this weekend, damn wind sucks!! I did happen to go to a new dz on Saturday night though, Buckeye, and watch night jumps!! That is something I have just got to try, soon. Met some great folks at Buckeye, I will be back there soon, although, that 182 is kind of scary, I guess I am just spoiled with all of the Otters, Skyvans, and King Airs I am used to jumping out of. The 182 kind of reminds me of an old VW bus with wings and a little step, it must be a blast to hang off the strut. Come on Friday already!!! Blue ones!!
  11. 1. Skydiving (if Im not doing it, Im thinking about it, like sex when I was in high school) 2. Drugs (just about anything, no needles, and only after skydiving never before) 3. Rock and Roll (because its one of the few things in life, besides sleep, that is still free!) 4. Sex (has to come in last because its harder to find than any of the other things listed) Blue ones!
  12. Hey Tracy, I did not want to get involved in the other post as it seemed a little touchy for some. My name is Greg, I jump at Eloy, I have just gotten my A license 2 weeks ago, and I have 31 jumps and counting. I Like your new name better, "junky" kind of gives it that "dangerous" sound like you might just "shank" someone for a jump ticket or something. Anyway, welcome! Blue ones!!

    Out of Commission

I couldnt agree more!! I hope you are back in the air soon, I would agree with some others here, that idiot who rammed you should have to pay and pay dearly for each jump you will miss. I think it would serve as a good lesson to the stupid ass that cars are not toys and risking his own life as well as innocent bystandards by speeding in a residential area is unacceptable!! It makes you wonder why insurance companys have issues with insuring skydivers, while aholes like the one who hit you are covered. Be careful out there!
  14. Lets see, I have jumped only three different planes, well 4 if you count Mike Mullins King Air as a "different type" of King Air than the one at Eloy. The Skyvan ROCKS, its my ultimate favorite, its like skydiving out of your garrage door! Plenty of room to strech out before exit as well as room to set up linked exits. Although, I especially liked bieng the last out a few times during novice status (solos after AFF) and getting a good running start before the exit, front loop getting into a tight ball, you can actually hover in the door for a bit. My second favorite would have to be the Twin Otter, its a good, stable, airplane and it gets to altitude fast and has a good size door. Then theres the King Air, its kinda hard to position in the door, especially front float position, but you do get to altitude fast, and at least recently at Eloy and Coolidge, $10.00 JT's.

  16. Its a night shot from the bottom of the Amazon River looking up at the bottom of a helicopter hovering above with its search lights on?

  18. From the mouths of babes..... A little girl goes to the barber shop with her father. She stands next to the barber chair, eating a snack cake while her dad gets his hair cut. The barber smiles at her and says, "Sweetheart, you're gonna get hair on your Twinkie." "I know," she replies. "And I'm gonna get tits too." Not sure about you folks, but I needed a laugh this morning!! Blue ones!!
  19. I have heard estimates of seven months or more, after all infected herds have been slaughtered, and the virus has had oppertunity to die off, they will then reintroduce animals in test quantities to see if the virus is gone. If the animals survive, they can then begin to restock the heards. This will take time, seven months may be a worst case scenerio, but I think, unfortunatly, more than a few weeks. This is a real tragedy, not just because dz's are closing (which is sad, it is after all a business), but all industries associated with livestock and the end consumers will suffer terribly untill this thing blows over. Nobody wins with this thing, and my heart goes out to all the dz owners, store owners, as well as all of the consumers that will be adversly affected. I just hope this can be contained and not become a world wide epidemic. Soylent Green is people!! (scary)
  20. At my DZ they have always made me extremely aware of the line of flight. I actually came up with a pretty good method while doing solos, at least it worked for me, while exiting the Otter or King Air (side exit) to be aware of where the line of flight is. Typically, right as I get to the door before exit, I try to find a landmark or recognizable formation on the horizon (mountain, or something obvious). Then when you exit, you can become unstable or spin or roll or whatever, and then after you are off the hill and stable, you can then locate your land mark and you know where the line of flight is because you looked at it out of the door of the jumpship (read, you can be relativly sure you are not tracking up or down the line of flight if you track towards your landmark). My $0.02
  21. This is like a "wet willie" gone totally wrong!! Heehee ha ho ho Bwahaaaaaah!! damn, this is too funny!!
  22. Hee hee haa ha ha Bwaaaaaahh!!! the Shocker!!! I love it!!
  23. It didnt say but.......... as unstable as this guy seems to be, I wonder if he went for the obligitory finger sniff afterwards!! Bwaaaaaaahhh!!!
  24. I would lend it out as long as you are not going to need it. Personally, I have lent my gear to friends when I was not using it quite a few times. The way I see it, if I cant jump, at least my baby (rig) can! I just did my Cypres four year, its expensive, I would suggest taking advantage of the offer. Blue ones!!
