I'm jobless (or close enough to it) at the moment so I dont have any commitments I have to worry about...and I'm always up for some adventure. Plus, I've never been to Alabama...and I love animals, so coincedentally, I hate whoever is doing this to them. I have access to a fast car, fast plane and fast feet, so...that means I can fly fast, drive fast, and run (somewhat) fast. Count me in too... -Marshall

is it only on opening?

dude, I'm from NY and I would take that car in a second!!! Thats a sweet looking car (even though it doesnt really exist)...

"...Asian lesbian dwarves..." hehehe...come to think of it...I've never seen one of those ANYWHERE, lol.

There was a thread a while back about someone who made a mount for the Z1, but I'm not sure if it included a stills camera. Maybe do a search? The only other one I have seen was one "made" by a videographer at DeLand (i think it was Edson). Looks like a helmet that a "knight in shining armor would use"...really narrow visor, lol. Uh, I've been fixing to watch Crosswind again for the past few days anyways. I might actually have time tonight...when I do I'll watch the credits for the songs and post them up here... Blue skies, Marshall

"No, but it's a small car and I don't want you to ruin my windshield." LOL!!!!!!! Thats funny....

Hey Viking, Just wanted to say that I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts. I know how hard it is to lose someone close to you- believe me, I've been down that road more than once. Even if your grandpa doesnt understand what your saying to him, its best to say it anyways. Think about all of the good times he's had, or you've had together- that helps a lot too. Anyways, take care of yourself and your family and know that your "second family" is always here for you too. -Marshall

Gee Chris, what a creative user name. haha...this is Marshall (in case you couldnt tell). I wouldnt worry about it...they only need to see what your doing really, not your eyes. Just ask whoever jumps with you when you do it I guess (wont be Pablo, hes gone someplace till Feb. 18). Did you order that new jumpsuit yet? Anyways...have fun, talk to you later.... -Marshall

-
lol...yea, but it might be a while before you see me again. I'm back up in NY temporarily. Not to worry, I'm gonna head down there again something this spring (I hope)...

"did you ever notice that when it's a pretty day outside..." HAHA....theres about a pretty day up here in this rotten place about once a month, so I dont have to worry about that too much....lol.

Oh wait...thats me. At DeLand....right before Christmas I think. I was just playing with my scanner, trying to get it to work...Sorry for all of you that made the mistake of looking at my ugly mug!

"Natural selection is a good thing though" Yeah, but it seems that the person "selected" shoulda been the one that wasnt. For example, I lost a friend in a DWI car vs. motorcycle accident. Drunk driver (in car) lived, friend (on motorcycle) died almost instantly. Oh well, I guess life sucks like that sometimes....

Always. I know two too many people that coulda been saved by them. Besides, I'm a pilot, so its kinda a habit...
-
A lot of times you will see them at gear stores....just a thought.

I tried....couldnt type anything and it sent this P.O.S. computer I'm temporarily using into a freakin frenzy. Oh well...another time I guess.

Travelling with rig on aircraft post 9/11
TheMarshMan1 replied to shbuda's topic in Gear and Rigging
I've been on about 7 or 8 commercial flights since September 11th, and havent really noticed anything different from before all that, with the exception of a few things: -more signs about bag searches, what you can and cant have, etc. -random bag searches (but out of those 8, only one has checked my bag, and even then not too close) -only pax can go past the security checkpoint and into the gate area -have to show your ID quite a lot Other than that, from what I've experienced its really not much different. Depends. Best thing to do is check the website of the container manufacturer- a lot of them have something that tell what the best (and possible) fitting canopies are for each container. Generally, I would say you can go down one size canopy for a given container, but I dont know about up. I'm sure theres someone on here that can answer this better than I. Also, you might want to do a search, I've seen this topic in here before (in fact I think I brought it up once, lol). Good luck... -Marshall

"Porn Stars are legit celebrities these days..." Yes we are......

Damn, that cat can backtrack better than me!!!!!!

And you might want to yell "LOOKOUT BELOW" before you drop...I think it might piss off an unsuspecting passerby to have a soda can splat all over them, or worse yet...whack them in the head (obviously knocking them unconscious). Or if your REALLLLY stressed out, maybe not.

Yeah, I knew that...I was being sarcastic.
