    Hey ... been using this set up on my velo's for a few years now and can report no downside to the mod Have taken the mod a bit further forward by havin a loop stitched into the riser ( between riser and ring tab) so that I can ( Like the brake set up on a strong tandem rig) just pull the added loop through the brake line loop and then through the ring when setting the brakes This takes care of the only worry that i had - excessive wear on the Brake loop - that said I havnt actually had any excessive wear Sorry if my description is a little difficult to follow - I will post pics as soon as I can Also agree that this is not that common a mod ... maybe only a handful use it in the UK Flipper

    Was @ Z hills for the last two weeks and the otterz were flyin high all day, now back home and its 206 time .. not proud .. air time is good no matter how you get there

    Hey Did a load of jumps (400 +) on Veng 120 Found that it opened fairly quick and had a habit of divin off to the left or right When it was psycho packed it opened slower without any surge to the left or right overall it opened a whole lot better Hope the info helps Flipper

    Have had best results with hot smoke,burns for about a minute.Way to keep it cheap is to beg or borrow from demo teams. Military are the best ones to ask as they dont pay for it hope this helps Flipper

    Agree with ChrisL, skydiving is pretty much the same as any other hobby. The ego thing does seem abit more 'in your face' in skydiving Flipper

    Hey, Just got my new Jav, RSK 0.5 with a velo 84. Previous canopy was a velo 96 and am 100% that I could fit the 96 into the 0.5 with no probs So to answer your question, yes the 90 will fit Flipper

    flipper reviewed admin's gear in Altimeters

    Done several jumps ( Tandems / Freefly / Swoop ) with the VISO, unaffected by very low tempretures or fast rotations Seems to be very accurate when compared with Pro-track and analogue Alti. Only gripe is the supplied strap is pretty cheap and nasty. (Sorted this by making my own) If you are after a digital Alti then in my opinion this is the one.

    We often go from below 10K, due to conditions etc. students are asked if they want to accept the lower height or try again later at no further cost etc So far everyone has excepted the lower altitude which can be an exit from 5.5K to 10K Flipper

    Have used this 'toy' on several hundred jumps and found it to be wildly inaccurate( dosnt always work in low temps ). The battery indicator reads differently every time its used (sometimes full / sometimes empty). Buttons have to be pressed with a lot of force to operate any functions and not forgetting the stripping screws Save yourself the hassle and buy the VISO from L & B at least thats bound to be properly developed

    Was affected by No 1 ....They have a 97 square foot main, and the container they chose require the main and the reserve to be similar sizes. (A problem with many container companies.) Ended up under a smart 99 after the main spun up. Deployment, flight & landing were problem free but I reckon that getting as big as you can is the way ahead Flipper

    Velo Spun Up So Used The Reserve - Smart 99 @ 1.8.1 Opened and flew real nice, landing was as smooth as I could want
