    Help?

Because you guys are the best (hell, we're skydivers and that should go without saying), if anyone can help with this... Dolphin manual? http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2675880;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread I will love you all forever semi-unconditionally! Semi because I may be blonde, but I'm not stupid!
  2. My SO is trying to get a reserve repacked in a Dolphin tonight? We don't have a manual at the DZ for the Dolphin. Can anyone send me one or point me to a website where we could download and print one out? Thank you in advance to anyone and everyone that can help!!!!!!!
  3. That skirt you're wearing...PULL IT UP! When I went outside at about 9 this morning, the temperature gauge read 10F. After nearly three weeks of all subzero weather, it feels like about 35F! Friggin' heat wave! Needless to say, with a forecasted high of 25 tomorrow, we are going to be skydiving our asses off! Hopefully the "cloudy" part of the forecast is just a flook and we'll be able to do more than just hnp's. It's been three weeks since my last jump and my rig just really wants to fly.
  4. But if you go through amazon.com, shipping is only available in the US. The OP was from South Africa I believe.
  5. I believe the 3-3's is in the SIMs. 3 attachment points (chest and both leg straps) 3 rings 3 handles in order of potential deployment (hackey/rip cord, cutaway, and reserve) Checked 3 times (before boarding, on the way to altitude and before exit).
  6. "Ewww...I got weiner juice in my hair" I work for a food broker. Sometimes weiner juice happens.
  7. Has anyone checked their myspace bulletins yet? This posted by our very own Bolas (sorry if repost, I looked but didn't see it):
  8. I'll get it moved to the speaker's corner... I hate when people say axed, as in "I axed them a question". It's "asked" with an "s" and a "k". SK not equal to X. If you axed someone one, you should probably be going to jail. Editted to add: I also hate when people call it a liberry. It's library. R is not silent, and nor is it a post vocalic R so you can't just smooth over it.
  9. I got the reference. Great movie...even better book.
  10. What she said. I don't think I've ever owned shoes with greater than a 2 inch heel, and even then I only wear those when I really need to dress up. I have never understood shoe torture. Triple that! I have had issues spraining my ankles with Nike Airs. Can't imagine the damage I would do to myself if I wore those ugly high heel things. However, I have no issues walking in skates. Maybe I'll start a new shoe company that instead of high "heels", they'll be high "shoes" with a blade like design. If it takes off, maybe I could buy Bob that Otter!
  11. How adorable! My Lucy is also a black and white english springer. Other than a little neurotic behavior, she is awesome!! Here's a picture of her.
  12. It is thoughtful until he throws it to the side on the floor, cover down and folded, leaves it there and the cover gets a crease in it. It was Parachustist for chrimmey's sake!! It's like the poor man's Bible!!!!
  13. Either that or that little button inscribed "spell check" to the bottom right. Welcome! Have fun on your first tandem. That's how my addiction started...just one tandem to cross it off the list. Here I am, a year and a half later with 157 jumps.
  14. Ditto I only started last April so this is my first winter jumping. Coldest jump yet was the heli jump where it was about 8F on the ground and we had to ride to altitude with the doors open/off. All good until my Factory Diver shield iced up (not fogged, ICED). It's going to make spring/summer that much sweeter this year!!!!
  15. A friggin' hop n pop because the clouds sucked! I totally got screwed by mother nature! But you should do a naked jump (weather permitting)! They are quite fun!
  16. We have a few regular jumpers and saw a few dozen students at our dz this year from the St. Cloud State Skydiving Club (MN). http://www.stcloudstate.edu/search/contact.asp?org=Skydiving+Club Here's a link to their website. Chad is the president and Miles in the advisor. Feel free to contact them for information. Miles would be a huge wealth of knowledge and help.
  17. I don't wear them anymore now that I have my own rig! Although I do have two sets in my locker at the dz in case I ever need them.
  18. No, I save all my oven mitts for inter thigh protection! Sorry to disappoint everyone on normal nippage density. But it is still below zero outside so I'm sure I could just go stand outside for awhile.
  19. Turbines? What are turbines? Are those the planes that hold more than four jumpers? Thanks for the offer. I'll definitely keep that in mind. This whole sub zero thing is getting old fast! Centerpoint Energy finally showed up around 2:15pm (over 7 hours after I called). Fixed one part, replaced another and an hour later, I have heat again!!! Amount of money spent on fixing furnance instead of jumping: $0! Finally saw some return on the home service plus I've paid every month for five years! So nipples have been restored to normal density, I'm feeling my toes again, and typing is much easier without mittens on! Thanks to you all for letting me bitch!
  20. Tongue Joy Without a question the best toy EVER. Careful when "swallowing". Would hate to have that go down the tube and have to explain to the doctor or try to shit it out.
  21. Five hours and counting...my patience is starting to run a little thin.
  22. Sounds good to me. But hopefully you can live with yourself after having taken advantage of a desperate...oh nevermind!
  23. I have three pair on plus my slippers. This is really starting to blow!
  24. If it gets anywhere near 30 degrees I'm going Centerpoint Energy van hunting!!!! I ran some water in all three faucets and turned the oven on and cracked the door. I face east and no longer have any direct sunlight so I'm sure the temp is going to drop rather rapidly now. I did call and leave a message for the managment company letting them know that if CPE doesn't get out here soon I'm going to have potential issues. I really wish that all my long underware and wool socks weren't at the dz right now. At least I have my dog to keep my feet warm.
