Yes, some of them know they suck but they got their 15 minutes of fame. Take for instance, the "cowboy" guy from Elk River, MN. He was on the radio this morning (I live in the Twin Cities) and he admitted that he knew he sucked and he, as well as many others that were there, were just there to get on TV. He admitted it he never stood a chance on going to Hollywood (but did say he did, in fact, bought the cowboy hat several years ago). All about the 15 minutes. And as long as AI makes several 2 hour episodes featuring the train wrecks, people will keep doing it. I think its getting old. My favorite train wreck from last night was the girl (trying to) sing Kiss by Prince. It wasn't the fact that she couldn't sing, it was that she couldn't remember the lyrics.

Hopefully skydiving. WI weather report is a high of 18, partly cloudy. Might have to pull out the glove liners this weekend. But thank goodness for the cold weather stretch so the runway can freeze and we don't tear it up anymore than we already have. Other than that, maybe a little bowling, try to find a new computer for home, movie watching and of course lots of alcohol and sex!

That's not cheap. I keep my thermastat set at (in winter in MN) about 58-60 when I'm home and awake and about 53-55 at night and when I'm at work. It's cheaper to put on a couple of sweat shirts than it is to heat the place. More money for jumping.

Update: New estimated ship date 1/18/07 (the fourth so far) And the order has been cancelled, my Dell account has been closed. Over three weeks of BS has come to a close. Recommendations anyone? (And don't even bother to respond with Dell. One--It's not funny. Really, it's not funny. Two--I wouldn't give my business to Dell if it was the last computer company on earth. I'd rather cope without dz.com than give one cent of my money to Dell).

They were oven mitts (not pot holders), so yes, the ones that fit all the way over your entire hand. I used the thumbs up method. However, to avoid any extra bulk and the chance of a "nut under" malfunction, I would probably recommend for you to use the thumbs down method.

Ohhhh.....I see that little mark and raise you....(see attachment)!!!! Our transition rig was made for a larger person and I could never get the leg straps tight enough. Came up with the solution of putting oven mitts down my jump suit. Problem solved!

Nope! I spoke with a CSR supervisor on Thursday and he said that he had put my order to the front of the que for production and call me with daily updates. I have not received one single phone call or email from him or anyone at Dell. And apparently Dell isn't producing any computers at this point because if I was put at the front of the list and they haven't started making it yet, they must not be making any at all. I'm to the point now where its kind of fun to log on every morning to see if it shipped. Like the lottery. I bought the ticket but I'm sure at this point my number will never be drawn. The thing that bothers me though is that they have already charged my account. I don't have to make payments yet but the funds have been pulled out (which was another discussion with Dell). I'm pretty sure that if they hadn't pulled out the funds, I wouldn't ever cancel the order. It would be interesting to see if it did ever ship. If it doesn't ship by this Friday, I'll have to cancel it. I can't wait any longer for a new computer (currently computer-less at home).
