    Have you ever been to an AA meeting? A lot of people have preconceived ideas of what it is. It does suggest the need for a "higher power" which does not need to even be a god. The fellowship is a very important part of the program. I personally listen more to someone who has walked in my shoes instead of someone who has a fancy degree.

    I do think it would be nice to recognize big way sequential as a record with some specific guidlines as to what would constitute a second point. Bragging rights are ok though.

    It was a joke. It would be very difficult to "officially" say what constituted a second point with 100+ people.

    Those of us at Cessna DZ's would gladly exchange airplanes so you can do H&P's all day long in the 182 and we can take your Otters to altitude.

    Maybe its time for us to carry TCAS and GPWS. I guess planes still hit other planes and the ground. Oops.

    Are the big-way sequential records official? If so what is the criteria for the second point? With the upcoming Z-team and TSR, I was wondering if its just for bragging rights.

    I agree. I also believe that you can always seek out people who will advance your skills no matter how good you think you are. That is why I seek out respected organizers to challenge my skills. It isn't cheap, but well worth it. When the student is ready, a teacher will appear.

    That is what a quick scan above you and a good wave off are for. I would not want to be on my back when someone below me is waving off and showing pilot chute.

    Take for instance a minister of a church. He is preaching to the congregation of what he believes they should do and how they should act. He is held more accountable by his position. Lets say he gets caught at a local strip club. You liberals would be all over that because he is a hypocrite. Same song as Gore. Maybe he could pay off the congregation and all is ok?

    Thanks for the answer. Been there done that. Had to land in a parking lot after some demo crew. I didn't mean to knock the landing out, but to hear what led up to the problem. Looked like a wise decision to me. A whole lot better than hooking it into an injury.
