88 Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Do you have the names that go with the picture. I remember watching that as a new skydiver. -
Randy Couture announce his retirement...for good
yjumpinoz replied to GQ_jumper's topic in The Bonfire
Fedor may not want to come to the UFC because of Pride's record so far. I thought the merger would bring talent, but it has not worked out that way so far. Randy is a real class act. I am sure he will be training some future champs. -
The last time I traveled with my rig, I carried it on and forgot about my weight vest. They pulled me aside and suggested that I check it in the future. It did look a bit suspicous..

Hate crime for assault on opposing team fans??
yjumpinoz replied to simplyputsi's topic in Speakers Corner
I think that it is similar to the temporarily insane plea. Of course you were out of your mind during the killing. It is still murder. -
We have a few models that are composite fuselage that are certified. From the infamous Starship to a midsize corporate jet Hawker 4000. There have been a few Premiers and at least one Starship belly in, and very little damage and a few lay ups and its back in the air. Composite is the future. More cabin space due to lack of bulkheads and less pressurization fatigue.

I think its important to remember that sometimes your whacker partner may be coming from another plane or different approaches. It would normally be better to fly no contact in your radial than to crowd someone else out.

Caledonian Graphics t-shirts from back in the day

Was that the one with the frap hatted skull with a 4-way humming it around a big cloud? I found my Chose Life one just a few days ago. -
I am sure the revenue comes from the tandems. I like the fact that some "rural" areas that don't have access to turbines can jump on the bandwagon for a boogie type thing.

You know you're a Midwest Skydiver if....
yjumpinoz replied to Unstable's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
If you have logged more airport couch time waiting on the winds than freefall time. And you know how to collapse a canopy when you land. You call 15-25 mph winds light and variable. -
Can anyone comment on Skydive Atlas from personal experience? It seems a little fishy to me. Kind of like a traveling circus/barnstormer kind of thing. They have advertised jumps at Sturgis and Rocklahoma.

Will the requirements to attend the camp be the same as the Kate and Tony camps in Perris?
-
Mandated safety briefing that's a joke. How many adults are not paying attention and talking etc. during the so called briefing. That is not a very good excuse. I have been more bothered by rude/drunk adults on airlines than by any kid.

Please see my earlier response. I think if were me and my wife/ex-wife was making that choice for me, then it would be my business...

I had a friend whose X-wife (seperated at the time) chose to abort the child and He was unable to stop her. How about that scenerio? Wasn't the man part of those "cells in her"?

Got mine in the mail the same day I posted. Very good job editing...

Anyone heard any news of the TSR DVD?

Bull dog Bob Brown...He really looked like a bull dog. Who was the Iranian that swung the clubs before the match?

As a former college wrestler, I am glad to see an avenue for upcoming wrestlers/scrappers that want to continue inflicting pain on people after school is over.

Boxers are no match for well rounded MMA fighters....period.

Maybe the message was global warming? A tornado is Kansas how strange

Except maybe money and power???

Many years ago, we had an experienced jumper being a passenger and they hammered hard and hurt her pretty bad. It made me not want to ever do that.

This years TSR was a really well ran event. I want to thank all of the volunteers and Skydive Spaceland for going out of their way to make this successful.

Does anyone know which band member jumps/jumped? I have always wondered that.
