Here we go again.First,the interior dept(newport news park)had to hassle me out of going to the park because they where affraid I might be a bicycle,photo terrorist.Now,the DOD has determined that I pose a threat to N.A.S.A. as a softball terrorist.When is the "Fear"or the reaction to outside events going to stop?

Since it had been a whole winter since my last jump,sundays was especially gratifying.Did simple inward twisting exit to a very nice dive.Just goofed until 6.5.Fun starts when my parachute opens.Tried to make the most of my altitude.The end result was a very nice toggle turn in for landing.So nice to be able to see again!!!!!!!!!Not going to forget this jump anytime soon!

First printable digital photo.(cool sunset at Yorktown).First trip to Walmart to download,make prints and a disk from my camera(very cool)!!!!Now,just need to learn how to transfer from a computer(or disk)(like say a library(not sure they are set up for this(ya know,porn stuff reasons))to send to my friends.Any help?

No,been thinking alot about teaching class.Alot was learned in competition.More expensive the jumps,the more you remember the damn costly mistakes.Rule 1.Make sure you can get there.Rule 2.No trophy(or cool landing) is worth getting hurt for.Rule 3, Practice,Practice,Practice.Well,there are many,many more rules.These are the short version. -
Your welcome!We worked long and hard on solving just that problem.The ultimate solution was a combined one.Most notably,tapers!Less material,less out there to grab air!

1.My Dad was a pilot for jumpers for awhile.2.25 years.3.when all else fails,(people,situations,emotional women breakdowns(lol))gravity always remains a constant.When I,ve had my fill of everything and everybody it,s time to go make a skydive.Sets me back to normal again.Skydivers are different.We like to go fast!

New eyes,same basically new parachute and a full time job with a $2.50 an hr raise.That,s right all you central and eastern virginia lady jumpers,he has his own car and apartment now.What will the world come to over this proclamation?(lol)

3 custom suits.1.All-Purpose.2.Comp. Suit.3.Free-Fly suit.Will wear shorts,warm-up pants and a tee-shirt sometimes.OH,not all at the same time,well maybe!(lol) -
Just got my first DIGITAL CAMERA!HP Photoshop 620.Bought the right size for my hands and a good starter camera(I think?)Upgrading to 64card before I,ve even taken a pic.Watch out fellow babies(lol),some cool pics might be coming your way.About time.

I like to think in terms of flat turn degrees.15,30.45.60,75,90.Learn all these with your parachute and you got it licked.Working your way up to 120.150,180,etc.The trick of course is the different wind conditions.Short angle turns are best for high winds.No wind or low wind days you can play and learn.Be safe.

Just spent $210.95 on a new pair off just for Skydiving eyes.For the longest time I,ve worn the ugly sports goggles under my Kroops.Have a spare pair,but my prescription needed changing.When you think you are at 6,500 and are really at 5,500 it,s time for new eyes.Have never worn contact lenses.Have never been able to afford the corrective surgery.So,new rap around goggles it will be for me Mon. or Tues.(I hope)Missed another beautiful weekend of jumping(Damn).

Damn,another day off!Get this,some idiot cut a red tag pipe aboard ship(CVN 69),BASICALLY SHUTTING THE WHOLE CONTACT DOWN FOR DAYS.NOW,this pisses me off when I have to suffer,not be able to pay rent,buy food,for some idiots mistake who,by the way probably makes 3 times as much an hour as I do.Whatda Ya think?Must be time for a real job again?

Hey,the heebie jeebies are not a real bad thing to have.They help in developing a healthy respect for what sure could kill us.It can,t be said enough,talk it out with yourself,friends,other jumpers and decide for yourself.Personally,my recent heepie jeebie about jumping with and old eyeglass prescription seems just plain smart and the right safe thing to do.Decided that I should not jump until my vision was 100%. -

O.K. so I don,t go with the crowd on this one.Like to say both equally,but it just would,nt be true.Flying your canopy safely and accurately was a big thing when I started.Just the simple pleasure of you and your parachute working well together gave me some great thrills and memories. -
Not surprised that Gymnastics was tops in the poll.Spent alot of time on that equipment when going to middle school up north.Trampoline was my Favorite.Back flips,Front flips,twists and rolls made it easier when first learning jumping.

Been to my first and last safety day.O.K.,maybe not (after thought)(lol).Shessh,only wanted to hear about camera flying(filming,picture taking).Then,luck would have it i,m(sooooo sure(just for you Ca. people)),a friend of mine almost bites it(burns in)filming a load.Now,sure he made some mistakes.The Point(please rob).It,s almost like you need to have your right hand on your cutaway handle(pillow)as you line stretch.Humm.maybe a high performance canopy was not designed for the camera man(sorry,person.)Gotta be PC ya know.?(ya think?)Later,rob.

It just occurred to me that we take for granted how much we look at ourselves,realize we are smart people,(Thank Ourselves)for living today.Had to call in sick today!Yesterday the damn fools had me breathing burning lead paint with an upper respiratory virus.That,s right make me sicker!They really don,t care.Other jobs are out there that don,t endanger my health and try to cover it up by being on a strict time schedule.Remember,this is your Government at work here folks!

First,the shower is great!Lots of hot water with great water pressure.Really enjoying my spare projects room.Wish I could find my can opener(lol).

Mine are a little higher than yours(25-30)(NOT GUSTY)steady winds.Making sure of your own spot at opening is still your responsibility!
