Well,pulled the dumb shit of the week already.I fell down the attic hole while looking up instead of looking down!The shin is split bad enough to require stitches but,I refuse to go to the hospital.Slap a couple butterflies on and keep it clean.How about that whiner?

Humm,heres one for ya.The ten jumps in one day for $25.00 was pretty cool($2.50 to 2,500)Friday tac loads.(pay for time flying as fast as you can get to jump run(1,800-2,000)All competition jumps.The judging.Basically everything was cool.4-way refresher at Deland.Nationals at Eloy.etc.etc.etc.All my "Jedei" test jumps at Z-Hills.

Humm.spent 8 months(out of 18)while building.testing "Jedei" living in a tent!Does that qualify?(lol)Now,making less money than then I can afford to make 3-5 jumps a month.Get a real engineering design job again and it would go up to 20-30.Go figure.

Get used to it!I,ve even had government employers(contractors)tell me I had to "NOT" Skydive to work for them.HUMM,pretty sure they were violating the law with that one?

Old habits are hard to die!Last time I pulled at 2000 was on a 4-way dive at my home dropzone.(many years ago)Since then test jumping parachutes really changed my attitudes about how high I pull.Now,rarely do I pull lower than 3,500.Just because USPA says a D no. can pull at 2000 doesn,t mean you have to.

Pulled at 1400 ft. in competition.Seems they wanted to get the meet done and in the books.Being under canopy and settled in at a grand was a little uncomfortable to say the least!Was no real problem, except, if I would have had a malfunction.

OH Man,mine would curl your hair!Some of the stuff we did,I personally saw people do on or before we got into airplanes would scare the crap out of ya,NO THANKS!

The thought process continues!Right now attachment points are my main concern,the simple design is taking shape quite nicely!Think about a creeper about half the size and weight or a slightly larger skate board with real aerodynamic lift.Special features(I could tell you but would then have to,you know!)

During my second year skydiving,I started a new job as a Pollution Control Technician.Phew,first few minutes up on the stack at !00 ft. was scary(No chute over my head!)Pretty much ended my fear of heights after being up there a full half hour!Never fear what you can control or get used to!

Hey,I,m a 120 weakling(the skinniest guy ever!)Seriously,have had some hand problems with some arthritis in my hands over many years of jumping.BEWARE,the COLD weather,my solution after my first 3 years jumping was to TAKE THE WINTER OFF!Better yet, jump all year round in Florida or California,Arizona.

Been thinking about a proto-type sled that you take out of a plane to test some possile landings?What do you think,probably not worth the money in Engineering and Testing?

Designers like to improve on a good thing.I,d have to jump a "Samurai 95-97" at least 25 times to get the full flight picture of the parachute.You can bet Brian did more than normally required to arrive at the basic "Samurai" design.It also sounds like we did more things right with the "Jedei Sweptwing" than most people would know.Personally,I,d much rather jump Brian,s "Airlock-Crossbraced" canopy and compare that to the "Jedei Sweptwing".
