Think about rear risers as providing "some" lift as you turn.The opposite for front risers.(DIVE,turn).This technique is usually used in an emergency.OPPS,too close to someone else after pulling.Making the right judgment in an emergency is much more important than where to pull on the riser.A good snatch and grab on the best riser for what your eyes are telling your brain has seemed to work pretty well for me.By all means ask others(instructors,etc.)

Call me crazy for not being cool.It,s(metal)because it,s what I,m used to.Having gone through the days, when we tried plastic(failed)(temp),it,s a personal thing mostly.Most of my friends who head down,freely have soft for obvious reasons.That,s cool.Suppose if I went to jumping with others again I would switch for safety reasons.

I work at Northrop Grumman Newport News.Upgrade of CVN 69(Dwight D. Eisenhower).It wouldn,t be too bad except I have already filled this type of paperwork out before for these people.My time after 2 p.m. can,should be spent looking for my new apt. not redoing!

Nothing real unique here except the onset of winter on my last jump in 2002.The air was crisp not cold.That was refreshing!
