  1. you seem to forget WHO was it that started this war. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  2. first of all, stop telling me what I value and how much. any nation, and I mean ANY nation will take care of its own citizens first. Israel was attacked. it has a right to respond and to demand that the lebanese government take care of whats going on in its teritory. knowing what you DO respect, I can live without your respect "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  3. fine fine, i'll PM you. i'd like to leave my PA in the private messages "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  4. and thats after he's editted most of his original posts... (not that they were editted to anything less offensive) you mean Slink2 "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  5. don't worry, like anyone with some sense I am very picky about who I get worked up by. my anger and hurt feelings are reserved for people I respect. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  6. someone shut him up already "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  7. so thats why i just got a message from you saying: "FUck you jew!" at least have the balls to show you views in public and not in private messages. you dont deserve any response... "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  8. you either can't read and can't understand what you're reading (which goes well with your other racist declarations... from your link: and: that's pretty much what i've said... its funny that Israel and Egypt are getting pretty much the same but still you claim that its the Jews who control the world. at least be original, the "jewish plot to take over the world" is as old as antisemitism itself "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  9. I'm not quick to draw the antisemitic/racist card, but i think you will make a good candidate. you have no idea what you're talking about. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  10. you're right, its all part of the secret jewish plot to take over the world. and where did you get the $23 billion a year figure from? the actual US aid to israel is about 2.5 billion, with egypt not far behind with ~2billion a year, but i don't see you saying that the egyptians are controlling US foreign policy... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  11. its just been released that it wasn't a UAV but an Iranian C-802 anti ship missile. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  12. no, not getting closer, i'm dead on. show me anyone in this world who doesn't value their countrymen's lives more than their enemies'. or for that matter their families' lives more than the rest of their countrymens'. let me even make you a very clear list of priorities... close family and friends, my own, other people i know and care for, the rest of my nation, friendly nation, "don't care" nations, nations who are happy to see me dead, nations who try to kill me, individuals who are holding a weapon aimed at me or any of the above. hope its clear for you now... no, but the labanese government are responsible for their lives when they allowed Hezbollah to attack Israel from within Lebanon. When Israel can hit those who are holding the guns, it does. that was the trigger. an unprovoked attack. and yes, we hold our soldier's lives very dearly and are willing to go to war over "the abduction of a couple of israelis" when it was unclled for and unprovoked. you are also forgetting the 300 katyusha rockets that fell in Israeli towns in the last 3 days, needless to say that their target was civilians. if indeed the world doesn't see things as they are now, its sad. but it won't be the first time the "world" sees things the wrong way or reacts to things based on another agenda "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  13. no i didn't. we value human lives but we value ours more than we value those who try to kill us. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  14. ***US and Israel claim that human life is priceless and should be treasured. *** exactly. and I'm proud of it. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  15. no one knows where they are. Iran and Syria are accountable because they pretty much control Hezbollah (and Hamas) and have been arming it with the rockets currently falling on Israel. Lebanon is accountable because Hezbollah is operating within Lebanon and Lebanon refuses to dismantle its military wing (hezbollah has PMs in the lebanese parliment) and deploy its own army along its border with Israel. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  16. yes, it was riots of arabs against jews all over the country, they simply fled after several murders. one question. what do you see as "their land". I mean both Israelis and Palestinians see the whole land (and some even what is today's Jordan) as theirs historically, but would you settle for a palestinians state side by side Israel in the 67 borders or do you , like Hamas, say "all or nothing" ? why? two seperated nations should have two seperated states. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  17. exactly my point. you can't say "go back 60 years" and when I say "go back 2000" you reply with "its not valid" if 2000 ago is not valid, then 60 years is not valid as well. no, it started before that. sure it became bigger when jews were starting to come back to their home land. you say they have no right to come back, I say they have every right to come back. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  18. why? i don't know. my Family had lived in Hebron for centuries and they were forced out in the 1929 riots (read about the 29 riots, or the 1936-1939 ones) and moved to Tel-Aviv. I'm very careful when pulling the Anti semitism card. its a serious matter and I don't call someone an anti semite when they don't like Israel. the conflict here is about land, not about religion (although the religious difference is not helping). there are two nations with valid claims to the same small strip of land. they need to share it and settle for less than what is rightfully theirs. and yes, i'm willing to give up my family house in Hebron for that. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  19. nothing in that post makes my argument flawed, unless the palestinians claim to be Cananites. all i'm saying is that you can't go 60 years back just because at that time there was a muslim majority (what can you do when muslims decided to conquer everything from pakistan in the east to spain in the west...) 2000 years ago there was a war and a well established Israel was destroyed and its population sent all over the world. 60 years ago there was an attempt to divide this land between its rightful owners (and i do see the palestinians as having a claim in this land) but they chose war in which they've lost. it was not "stolen" from them because it was never theirs as a nation. by your logic, if we wait a 1000 years, the palestinians will lose their right in this land, won't they? "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  20. oh, not again with the "who was here first"... again you stop 60 years ago, why not go a thousand or two? who said 60 is the magic number when ownership of a land is set? and btw, my family has been here for at least 200 years. they were kicked out around 70 years ago from their home in Hebron by (suprise) an angry arab mob... "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  21. in Gaza, it did. in Lebanon it did. so it seems that wherever we pull back they come out looking for more. Israel has done more than its share of mistakes including skipping a very good chance to make peace right after the 67 war. I'm well aware of your views and even if I think you sometimes see things from the wrong angle, at least you get your facts right. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  22. agreed. but it is my response when Israel is displayed as the aggressor. If that's the best connection you could find, then its only proving my point that this attack from Lebanon by Hezbollah is not a response for anything. but when you look for reasons, you'll find some agreed. but it takes two to tango. just imagine what would happen if the palestinians took matters into their hands in gaza and started to build their nation. if things were peaceful there , there would have been a lot more support in the Israeli public for pulling out of the west bank too. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  23. i have to disagree with you on that. I think that because of his military reputation he was able to pull it off. Sadat was the master mind behind the 73 war (which was briliant from a military point of view even though it was lost at the end) but later on (like Rabin for that matter) he knew when its time to make peace. i think thats what defines a leader, the ability to know when its time to do something different. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  24. its not the "they did it first" part i'm worried about. its the "they want to keep doing it next". but who started a cycle of violence is very important when you cast the blame. you cannot blame Israel for striking lebanon now without mentioning the unprovoked border crossing attack that came from within its borders. and the same goes for gaza when there is no Israeli presence there and still rockets fly out of there. more than 70% of israelis supported pulling out of gaza, hoping that maybe finally the PA will take their independance at hand and start to build a nation. the current PM was elected based on his plan to do the same in the west bank. we do not want to control the palestinians but when we pull out they come after us picking up fights (and there are always reasons for those who look for them). its very frustrating. "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  25. no, not always, but most of the times and especially by european channels. for example, in an interview i've seen earlier on BBC, the women in the studio asked their reporter in Israel whether it is true that there are rockets fired from lebanon into Israeli towns. his response was "I've heard such a rumor" note that today, more than 100 Katyusha rockets (military grade soviet rockets) were fired into several Israeli towns (including the 3rd largest city of Haifa) , killing several and wounding more than 100 (until now) "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
