The ultimate robot dancing video! These guys are really good!
MF42 replied to AggieDave's topic in The Bonfire
I don't think I've ever seen robots move so smoothly. I almost want to believe that they're marionettes, or there's some other kind of fakery going on here. If genuine, those machines are startlingly impressive. Matt -
That's all for me. Time to call an end to a busy day of postwhoring. 'Night all. Matt

I was surprised by the number of people voting to be a sidekick. I didn't think anybody would go for that one. Matt

I own an air conditioner, but have only turned it on three times so far this year. I'm loving it. Currently 62 F. 'Course it'll get hotter in the next few weeks. But a few weeks after that summer will be over!

It just seems exceptionally wrong when a fictional character, from a children's movie no less, turns dominatrix. I love it! If male action movie stars are required to lose their shirts in the last half hour, I think female action movie stars need to fight nekkid at the end of the movie. Seems fair to me. Matt

Sounds like life is good! Matt

Yay! There's people here tonight!

Simple and effective. I like it. Matt

Not only are tamper tags a problem, but the cable itself might not be there. It's all sensors and wires and computers and other voodoo like that. Matt

Don't say that, man! Matt

That...is a very good question. Obviously, villains don't some any more villainous than the Ultimate Evil. The boy, Kevin, is the central character and demonstrates several traditionally heroic traits. But the bandits? What are they? I don't know. They certainly seem very sidekickish at times, especially the one who's always eating. As a group, they have villainous motives but often behave heroically. I don't know. Good question. Matt

Got my A license Wednesday, then had my first incident the next jump

Congratulations on the A! -
Did it happen? Are happy people falling out of a jet right now as I type? Matt

If enough of the trip is downhill, just shut off the engine and coast. Matt

I just thought I'd add that neither the villain nor the sidekick need all that monotonous backstory and character development. I say that while the hero is off questing for a mentor and growth and a personal transformation/realization and all that Cambellian crap, the villain and sidekick just throwdown, get it settled right away. Matt

That's true. Nothing beats The Imperial March!

Hmm... Matt

Do you think Sunshine would let me eat fruit off her bottom? Matt

I've deliberately avoided ever looking at myspace because I only have so many hours in the day for postwhoring here. Can't afford to start surfing and postwhoring somewhere else. Matt

I just realized what it reminds me of! Besides the jackalope, which I've never been entirely certain is actually real, I mean. It looks a lot like the tauntauns that Luke and Han rode on Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back, only not quite so big and with stripes. Yeah, I'm a geek. Matt
