While not a "command" to follow, the Magi (Matthew 2) did set an example to cleberate (worship) Christ's birth. steveOrino

NlghtJumper being temp. disconnected from the internet...
steveorino replied to NlghtJumper's topic in The Bonfire
You mean the Army changes their mind now and then? Oh, my SF days, (late 70s) you're going to Iran, no, you're not, yes, you are. You're going to Zaire, no you'r not. ... and so on and so on. steveOrino -
Al right, where is your pic? I have several more drawn, but I've had computer woes. I hope to get caught up with the sketches and the comic book soon. I had to reformat the computer from scratch and didn't have every cartoon/sketch backed up. steveOrino

Agreed, but let's add the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts to the test. From my understanding there were a LOT more manuscripts to look at in later revisions. The very fact that Christians like Bill take the stance they do on English translations like the KJV show their Western biases. [soapbox] Oh, how could those Messianic and early non-English speaking Christians read God's word. Much of it was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek!!!! Poor stupid infidels They didn't have the pagan King James authorize a "God" version yet. It had to wait 1600 years (2600 years for OT) for "God's" version in ENGLISH. Yeah, right! Give me a break! [/soapbox] Again your Western bias is showing too much. It is like the nuts who said having CNN is fulfilling the prophecy that everyone will see Christ descend to earth. My goodness people! Do you ever get out of suburbia America???? I don't think my friend Pastor Sherman Lion in the rain forest village of Cimaronnes, Costa Rica has cable yet! steveOrino

Tandem videos of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
steveorino replied to steveorino's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well, word is out every where so I guess can post. We (SKYDIVE AIRTIGHT) did a VIP tandem for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. They are building a home for a widow with 10 kids. One of the kids is a thrill seeker, so they're making her a skydiving themed room. Ought to be the envy of all of us! Some pics of the jump can be seen on my site. My question: I submitted an article with pics to PARACHUTIST. They typically want exclusive pictures. Is that true with articles as well? Can I send the same article with different pictures to SKYDIVING? I see the same story in both magazines al the time. steveOrino -
yeah, nothing new here people, move along. steveOrino

Yeah, you do that. I can see you. Or maybe you are like SKULL on www.pvponline.com and only some of us can actually see you. That's it! You are a mythical creature that can only be seen by a chosen few. I feel so special I can see you!

It is in the old levels (not sure about the new categories off the top of my head) Level 3 (or 4??) they let go. Yes, it was on the hill. steveOrino -
My computer went down again! I can't post sketches. I will when I can. If Bill Gates had a nickel for everytime my machine crashes ... wait he does! steveOrino

Yes, his exit SUCKED, but he did "ok" on everything else. They figure they're stil gripping him on exit on level 2. His exits will get better. ... I guess. Truthfully, I believe he was a one-shot skydiver from the word go. He took his 1st jump course MONTHS ago and had to be retrained. He seemed clueless to me when we dirt dived, but what do I know? I'm only a coach and vidiot. steveOrino
