We know what helmet you mean, you still need to know which model it was made for! The molded part will hold one or two models perfectly and may fit a few others if they're smaller, not if they're bigger. ciel bleu, Saskia

miniDV is using compression too. I know, but it doesnt compare to the amount of dataloss you usualy see in mp4 clips ment for PSP (and other portable devices with small screens) What?!? you mean my ipod doesn't show high quality video as advertised?!? ciel bleu, Saskia

Did you ask Eric yet? If you really need to get rid of that rig and it isn't too hard to sell (for instance, a beginner to intermediate skydiver might want it, as in this case), he'll usually offer money. Not as much as you might get selling it yourself, but it's cash

Now I'm really confused, S/L or AFF??
dragon2 replied to skyflygirl1's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
SL is max EUR 28,50 here (you're kidding, we're CHEAPER for once?!? that's 34 dollars max, depending on day of the week and on membership), no clue about what a single AFF jump costs as people pay a package deal. But yeah, 8 sports jumper slots make the plane go up, with at least 4 paying jumpers to get higher than 5k (ie for an FS4 it goes to 12k). ciel bleu, Saskia -

But that assuming that there is no one else there to fill loads other than students and instructors. Where's all the experienced jumpers that want to jump? Oh, they probably went through AFF and don't have any money left to jump... Usually this situation comes up during weekdays, when most experienced jumpers have to work but the students have taken a week off to learn how to jump. So the load may only go up after 5 o' clock when some jumpers may drop in after work. Like me ciel bleu, Saskia -

OTOH, our plane (C208B) has better chances going up with 2 AFF students and 4 JM's than with 5 SL students and one JM (ie no way it's going up; it needs 8 paying SL and/or sportsjumpers). $$$$$$. ciel bleu, Saskia -
Installing is not repacking. Any rigger should be able to get any manual he needs, AFAIK. ciel bleu, Saskia

www.parachuteforum.nl http://www.parachute.nl/discus.html http://www.valschermsport.be/forum/ http://www.parachutecase.nl/prikbord/tekoop/aangeboden.html Niet zo moeilijk hoor! You will have problems selling an Atom to the USA since PdF doesn't sell there. If you can't sell it yourself you can always get rid of it at www.skydivesupplies for instance or try to sell through the Case or similar. BTW that reserve is too big for an Atom 00 AFAIK. Atom 00 are made for Techno 128 and similar. Unless a Tempo packs up awfully small... ciel bleu, Saskia

Canopy Malfunction: Lineover (*landed*, with photos)

Why 2 grand? ciel bleu, Saskia -
did you stall the suit? ciel bleu, Saskia

There are countries where the normal/regular swimming suit for man is that you described before. Over here for sure.... We have about 50/50 tight stuff/shorts. When we were in Gap (France) however, the boys that had shorts were forced to borrow tight swimming pants from the lost and found (! not kidding !) because it was unhygienic to swim in shorts ciel bleu, Saskia

Whuffo you organised that on the same day as the party at Teuge?!? ciel bleu, Saskia

? Did you mean to reply to me? I was talking about (fixed) fisheye lenses not zoom lenses. ciel bleu, Saskia
-
They're still not straight. Straight lenses (ie the 14mm Canon, 14mm Sigma etc) are way more expensive and unfortunately also heavier. I really don't like the 15/16mm fisheyes on a digital, so I'll probaby sell my zenitar 16mm since I never use it... ciel bleu, Saskia

AFAIK you need more than just a ring to attach your bridle, you need to reinfore the roof of the canopy too. $$$$$$$. ciel bleu, Saskia

How'd you manage that, were you using deathstraps? Or "just" leglocks? Looks very kewl ciel bleu, Saskia

BTW, if you have 100 jumps in 4 years, you are a long way away from jumping wingsuit anyway... ciel bleu, Saskia

Uhm I did 10 crw jumps (filming) with a P126R Most reserves cannot be used as mains because they do not have the pilot chute attachment point. Some Raven's do, and of course the demo canopies for various manufacturers (which is how I got to jump the pd126r). I have one terminal reserve jump with my wingsuit, wouldn't want to have it as my main. Then again there are a few (or at least one) jumpers jumping small lightnings as wingsuit mains. PD says not to take those to terminal I usually jump camera so am pretty careful to jump a slower-opening main, when opening from terminal anyway. ciel bleu, Saskia

Well you saw my sigma 14mm last weekend.... so far no pics yet, hopefully next weekend however it seems it will be rainy ciel bleu, Saskia
-
Another thing to consider, if you're buying a complete rig, is what the reserve is? You want a reserve that is loaded at 1:1 or lower. ciel bleu, Saskia

In The Netherlands you'd need 700 (!) jumps to be allowed to fly a 120. ciel bleu, Saskia

I had a sony .6 for a while untill I lost it but it had about the same viewing angle as the hama .45 I have now It wasn't "grainy" though, can you show an example of what you mean? ciel bleu, Saskia
