Actually just updated the page with some more pictures of the sleeve, with cutaway and the final stretching sleeve that robi was experimenting with the past year. Works like a charm. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

With people trying (or at least talking about) landing wingsuits and not succeeding, and this guy managing without, doesnt seem to out of place here does it JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Cool flying. With more practice you will see these results improve rapidly. Come and make our life hard at the competition in Hungary JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Tough Russian f*ckers are giving Jeb and his WS landing a run for his money. No multi-million dollar ramp either. Impacting from 160 meters without a canopy, and walking away from it (okay...give it a few months for the walking part). But Danngggg *edit* had to remove link to the thread on the other forum, as the advertising/linking doesnt allow for the use of the word basejumper without turning it into a link. So linking to the correct thread is impossible.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Its a shame they only used that brief shot, as some of the promo pictures showed a lot more wingsuit VS jet (engine) stuff. http://www.wingsuitnews.com/2010/10/jackass-wingsuit-flying.html JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

"Marko Mike" Memorial Wingsuit Boogie & Competition - Hungary
mccordia replied to mccordia's topic in Wing Suit Flying
So you got 3 to 4 flocking jumps in, during the 3 day boogie. Now its a 5 day boogie (some of us already arriving on tuesday), so you have 2 extra days. And a little faith and positive thinking Its going to be great! Looking forward to seeing all of you again! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? -
Interesting to see. How about creating a hole for the hands/arms, and covering it with 2 patches of rubber. Effectively creating a slit thats closed, but allows a hand to be pushed though? JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Nobody sais he cant have a wingsuit blog... Its mostly comments about lack of content and content being about freeflying and FS4 That aside...we're getting a double dozen requests per email for adverts and all kinds of linking, money making schemes regarding wingsuitnews.com. Judging the visitor numbers, I suspect this wingsuit blog is more about getting a high google ranking by using the ever increasingly popular word 'WINGSUIT'. Regardless....content could use a boost JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Dont know whats up with the 'wingsuit blog' but now there is a shitload of photos taken from all kinds of places of which a large deal are FS4 and freeflying. Being a bit more selective and current in whats posted, for sure wouldnt hurt... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

The suit seems to be floatier and slightly easier to fly for distance compared to the Stealth2. I think for camerawork on belly/back you'll be able to stick with flocks in sitfly positions, as its A LOT of fabric and for sure, it will keep you up. If you're very light, it might be a bit overkill. Like filming a marathon from an F14... Hearing what DSE has been getting out of the suit the last week, I cant wait to take it to the skies on saterday (I havent jumped the final production model yet, only the previous prototypes) so Ill for sure report back after the weekend.. I have no clue on what those sizes are in kg/cm. But with each suit having different characteristics it largely depends on what you want out of your flights as well. Flocking? Long flights? Camerawork on your back? etc. Depending on skill and build, and how that links to what you prefer doing this suit can be either the perfect match, or another smaller wing might actually be a better match. I fly a shadow on most of my jumps (similar to the Phantom in performance) and wouldnt say Id need a Ghost for normal flocking and flying. But I sure have a lot of fun flying it on my back and belly when doing camerawork around a flock. With range left to spare. Just demo one (we should have two or three in several sizes at flock and dock) and see how you like it... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Costyn also just put his order in for one (he previously owned a Ghost2). I heard DSE just received his Ghost3 and is jumping it atm. Curious to hear what he thinks. So far everyone who has flown the suit has been extremely impressed JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

"Marko Mike" Memorial Wingsuit Boogie & Competition - Hungary
mccordia replied to mccordia's topic in Wing Suit Flying
No, Gap flocking is organized by Zun & co. I only am there as a flocker that part of the week. And sadly leaving a few days early. But most others stay in Gap for the flocks...so no worries there JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? -
I did find the unit only writes recordings if you use the 'rec' button. Using the power-switch to stop recording prevents the unit from writing/closing the file, hence loosing your last recording. And VOX should always be off (sound on/off activation). Stuff to mind. I pretty much leave the unit on all day, and only hit the rec button just before exit, and off on landing. After a few minutes it automaticly goes into hybernate (or whatever it is) and doesnt start using power (and recording) untill I hit record. So far used the camera 2 full days of jumping without charging. The quality isnt much, but it was dirty cheap and just to grab some stuff for debrief on wingsuitjumps where Im performing (and dont want a big setup on my head) its ideal...(you can see it mounted on the nose of my helmet here) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Im not having any issues with mine (though I think I have the slightly older 'normal' model and not the even smaller Atom) but did find one thread on a forum where people reported issues with their unit and some potential fixes. With 70 pages of stuff, a big browse through might get you some usefull solutions.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

For those eager to jump it, I have Venom demos in 2 sizes with coming weekend at Schaffen(be) and Skydive Rotterdam(ned) Similar the weekend after that (for the Benelux selection weekends) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Once again proving the inadequacy of the metric system!
mccordia replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
I prefer Cm over Inch, because it makes my d*ck look bigger in terms of the number I can quote.... Think about it quade...In Cm's you might even go into double digits JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? -
I actually had another pocket on there for a day, which was slightly bigger (a small zipper pouch for an mp3 player, even had a small transparent window) but replaced it when I 'found' this in my gearbag today. Its a small square carry bag for earplugs (brand is Alpine). It really fits snug around the unit. There is a hole inside (I made) that feeds the cable for the earplug into my helmet. Update: I got the aerplugs quite cheap a fear ago at a motorcycle store (for skydiving). They are called Alpine Moto Safe. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
