I do wonder sometimes who was the youngest jumper to conciously make the the dicission the jump. A lot of 2/4 year old look like they are taken up because of the records. Having seen a few video's of 2/3 year olds in freefall it didn't look like they enjoyed it too much... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

What worries me about that add, is that it could set a trend. In a years time every girl will want to lose weight on her right thigh (look at the picture...her left thigh is okay according to the dotted line) Women with one perfect left thigh and one sknny right thigh are not nice....I want them the same size...and if possible, I do like to hold something...not just skin and bones... BTW this is the same stunt he pulled over a beach in Cape Town (only he didn't bother getting permission that time) And what makes you think he bothered to get permission for the stunt he pulled in holland No paperwork filed for a demo or low-pull (pulling below 2500 ft is ILLEGAL in holland, when skydiving from an airplane) and don't even think of what could have happened had his chute snivelled or malfunctioned. FA showergel (don't know if you have it in the states?) has a new series of commercials that show 'How FA you will go to get fresh' The latest one shows a (hot) skydive-chick exit a plane, do a steep headdown dive (to get fresh), then open her canopy. She decides she's not fresh enough, so she takes of her rig, and dives down towards the ocean. In freefall she opens her jumpsuit (FULL FRONTAL NUDITY!!!) and fall out of the suit practicly naked (only a G string) and dives into the sea.. You see her underwater, diving towards the camera, and then she's in the shower with FA shower-gel, which supposedly has the same effect... INCREDIBLE.. Anyone seen this one online already? Just to be on the safe side..this is not one of my wet dreams...this is an actual commercial playing on dutch TV now. They might cut the nudity in the UK or US version...(silly country...you can own a gun, and kill whole groups of people on TV, yet, you can't show a booby on tv....) It could also be a flipped shot. It's something that happens in editing every once in a while to keep the action on the correct axis If something moves from left to right in one shot, then right to left in the next one, and then left to right again, the then audience tends to think you're moving back and forth...so they flip a few shots every once in a while to keep 'the direction/axis' the same.. A good friend of mine has only 1 eye, and he has no problems with skydiving solo or doing formations/freeflying what so ever. He just moves his head around a bit to gauge depth, and seeing how he does in freefall, it works like a charm... so have fun.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

After Effects is NOT a video editing program btw. A lot of people use it as one, but it's a program in which you work on or enhance one single shot of video.. For editing, use Premiere, DV Raptor, Final Cut Pro, Miro Studio, Media Studio...or heck...even a casablanca..:) My showreel is in divx/avi format...should work if you have divx installed. Have you used it before? Some people use After Effects as an editing program, but it's realy for image manipulation and special effects (and some groovy Oprah stylee title stuff:) but it's not a program you click/start and understand in 10 seconds... There's a lot of stuff in my showreel that shows after-effects work. There's a shot of a spaceship/spacestation, and that's just a couple of images from google, cut out and animated in after effects. This plane was supposed to come to holland last week, but it got cancelled due to some engine troubles. Airplane-nuts from all over europe had come to holland. What's quite funny is that this freaking huge plane only needs a short runway. But take-off sort of happens in 2 stages. First it needs enough speed to get the wings flying (the realy droop down when it's on the ground) and then when the wings are flying they finaly lift the whole plane.. Damn cool.. A friend of mine recently bought this helmet with a camera-setup, but hasn't jumped it yet (you need A c licence and 200 formation jumps first, he's almost there) I want to start looking for a camera-helmet later this year, but was curious if anyone had experienced this helmet. I think (no matter what int. gear regulations say) you always have to oblidge to club-rules. If they say 'you can not jump from our plane, unless you wear a pink tutu, and have an at least 300 sq/ft canopy, and 5 cypress' installed' then...no mater what you say...they have every right to not allow you to jump...it's not a right they are offering you...it's a service. So when places like Ampuria say you must have a cypress if you want to jump there....then you must have one...their DZ...their rules... And even in the US..no matter what rules..if there is a dz that decided you can no longer jump there without a cypress..then it could also just send you away without jumping.....sux huh... I remember hearing he had to cut his steering-lines because they entangled with the wing, so maybe he had to flair on his back-risers, and with that fullsize glider-plane that helped him in his unaided flight on his back it would probably be hard for everyone to land.
