Doing 120 km/h on the freeway on my motorcycle, with one glove in my mouth, and my hand fiddling around on the back of my backpack to press 'next track' on my protable CD player (skipping a song), or even unzipping the pocket and taking the player out to turn up the volume, and then putting my glove back on usualy gets strange looks...dunno why... When I ride along on the back of my dad's bike and I'm doing dummy-pulls and practicing tracking, turns, sideslipping and more with my arms and legs hanging out it's also a crowd-pleaser... This might have been one of my last jumps with my trusted COE-D 190 btw....Starting next week I'll be jumping a Merit 170... Cool huh... And about my headdown skills...just call these pics lucky shots...although I can stay upsidedown and use about 4 square miles of airspace doing so, I am nowhere near the master I'm trying to look like in in these pics..hehehe But damn I don't look cool trying This was just an exit from 4.000 ft, only staying together for a few seconds before breaking off...no 12.000 ft to play with, but those low fun-hops can sometimes be the coolest jumps of the day.... Look at your local wallmart, they usualy have those plastic-egg machines...take enough 10 cent coins with you, and after about 5 or 10 eggs, you should be lucky enough to find a ring in there, so you can spend the other 1999 bucks for a ring on skydiving... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Cool billboards....I don't know about you, but I would not want to be under that parachute with that plane and 2 helicopters coming overhead.....turbulence would suck bad.... But if I could get payd to do that sh*t....I definately would!! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

I log every jump, and intend to keep doing so as long as I jump. Although I do tend to go more towards describing the views/feelings/emotions that came with a jump instead of only writing down what I did...it's like a diary... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Small hypothetical question, if your pro-track/dytter is turned on, but you want to switch your signals to a different altitude. Would this still be possible in the plane (at say..3000 ft?) without resetting ground-level? JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

I have a nice job at a company that makes computergames. I did the animations for the game Age of Wonders: Shadowmagic www.ageofwonders.com and loved doing so. I have a fulltime contract, and it pays well. Although computergames are fun, my dream is animation for film. Doing the stuff that www.pixar.com does. Yesterday I got an exciting phonecall/question... I now have the chance to quit my job, and get a 1 year contract to work on the visual effects (animation) for a big dutch movie. But that would mean, giving up my current solid job/pay, with a chance that I could become un-employed when that year of work is over. The new job will pay better, and if I do an INCREDIBLE job on the project...they will maybe hire me for their next 3 projects and I'd definately be THE DUDE...but still...it would suck if I was without work next year....argg....what to do ..:) I have to decide within one or two weeks... The music from Crosswind sounds a lot like well known main-stream music. Just so much different that it's not a direct ripp-off. But still, I bought the DVD (already had the Video) and the segment with rushes (35 minutes of extra footage) has all the music without comment from the narrator. So I made a crosswind audio CD for myself to play at work. You just seeee all those cool visuals when your working....just drives me more nuts the I already was...now I definately can't think about work anymore... "Jean-Loic is a child of the isles...." When walking to the plane, the phrase "Explorers of the relative wind.." or any other misc. crosswind quote is often heard from my lips....it's a hoot! Almost as cool as flying up to my buddy and screaming "WHO WON....!!???" after a cool 4 way JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
